Thanks Shy. I always enjoy your words of wisdome.
I got back from WI a little while ago and I stayed exactly the same. tom arrived so maybe that has a bit to do with it. But I'm just going to keep on keeping on.
I'm going to try to catch up with the boards!!!

Literally LOL here. I just saw someone quote this. Me and Cassie must be on the same wave length!!

Hey ladies...I guess I should have said good afternoon on my last post, huh...lol Well I just read Melissa's post on the weekly results. I must say I feel guilty about posting a gain, and because I just can't always seem to post every day. Well during the week, I usually post, but weekends are usually way to busy and I just don't seem to have the time. I just hope you all feel like I am participating, especially since I am so horrible at posting personals.... Some of you are just so good. I love this group, you ladies are so wonderful!

I find your posting wonderful. You let us know what is going on and you join in with the rest of us. A gain, don't let it get you down to much. You will see that scale going in the direction you want it to go very soon.

Chell
Glad to see you are getting better.

Cathy
A few days before the DOT starts and a few days after are never the time to do a weigh in. You will see a difference by next weigh in.

Tina
Poor little thing. Plan a nice day for her when she feels better.

Bella
Darn another one. That DOT can be a killer when it comes to the scale.

Jen
Oh my gosh, hope you didn't have any serious damage. Just hurting is more than enough. I really hate to fall and I am pretty close to the ground lol. Hope you feel better soon. Oh, I am so glad selling those cookies are in the past.

Laura
I keep what I eat and what I burn separate. I don't eat to burn and I don't burn so I can eat lol. Eat what is good for the body and the burning will take care of itself.

Optim
Any loss is a good loss.

Karen
DOT is over and now is the time to check out what you are eating. You know, all of us from time to time have to tweak what we are doing and not doing.

Mom
I know with this challenge what the scale says is very important. BUT look at the big picture. Your clothes fitting better shows you are losing. Sometimes inches and pounds just don't go together.

Diva
Take it slowly and give that foot use to the pressure again.

For those that asked -I am planning on a shopping spree when I hit my goal weight. Whenever that will be.
Patience IS a virtue!

Sounds like many of our REDS had a rough scale week. Don't despair. Think of the potential for next week! Stay strong! It IS tough to stay POP after a gain. But remember - it is a mental block - not necessarily a physical one that will hurt you the most.
Let's regroup, stay positive, and we can persevere! We are strong, we are motivated, we are gonna do this!

I posted a 0 change for today. I was up last week when I was able to finally weigh myself after getting back from my visit with my family and have now lost the weight that I gained. I can tell TOM will be coming soon, it should actually be here any day. I'm hoping TOM won't mess with my next weigh in.

I'm about to head off to the gym to start Week 1 Day 1 of C25K! Wish me luck!!!

Today was a bit of a better day. At least I didn't feel like eating everything in sight. Talk about emotional eater! I bought some "low cal" junk food at the store today. I was trying not to eat junk food but I really missed it and I might as well eat the low cal then the full calorie when I like it just as well. I had a 100 calorie Hostess snack pack after dinner and it really hit the spot. A piece of fruit just wasn't going to cut it. I sure wish I hadn't given up alcohol for Lent!

Diva-thanks for asking about DS2. He is a sophomore at a university here in Atlanta so he can come home whenever he wants so it is not homesickness. He is only signed up for 4 classes and he is not doing any work anyway so it is certainly not that either. He has changed his major twice now and he doesnot like this major either so that has something to do with it but really I can't for the life of me understand how a person could let his parents spend a small fortune to send him to school and then not go to class. Anyway, it was nice of you to ask about him and I hope your foot feels better very soon.

Karen-Thanks for the information about counseling. You are probably right about DS2 needing to talk to someone. I am not sure he would go but I am definitely going to talk to him about it when he decides to answer my phone calls. The whole situation is a mess. He is already on academic suspension because this all started half way through last semester but I didn't realize how bad it was and thought he just had too heavy a workload. That is definitely not the case this semester. Right now I am just taking it a day at a time.

OptimistK-Congratulations on your loss. Good luck with your new semester.

Laura-Skiing sounds like a fun way to get in your exercise. Good for you.

Jlbake-Wow, that sounds like a terrible fall. I hope you feel better soon.

Sara-Sorry about your migraine.

Counting-Congratulations on losing more weight. Your incredible. Those small losses are really adding up!

Tina-Sorry to hear Madison has the flu now. Hopefully she will recover quickly and your family can finally say good bye to that miserable bug!

Hello my lovelies!! I'm gonna post real quick then attempt to read through what everyone has been up to today! But, in order for me to get time to workout I need to skip personals. I got my paper finished though! LOL!

I was supposed to be going skiing all day tomorrow with my dd's class but now I'm not going all day. I've got to take care of some other stuff in the morning. Hopefully i can get up there for at least a little bit of fun. I havent been on skiis since I was in high school, a LOOOONG! time ago LOL!

I hope everyone is having a fantastic week so far! Not to worry about the scale there must be some freak gravitational pull going on that so many of us are seeing low numbers this week...yeah thats it!! LOL!!

Be good to yourselves team! You deserve all the successes that come with healthy choices!!

Kari...never never never feel guilty about a gain!! You are working hard, and you are going to have up and down weeks, we all do! thats all a part of this journey, if we lost every single week it wouldnt be so darn hard now would it? You have been an amazing support for your team and I hope that you get what you've given! I for one appreciate you being in my corner! Just keep going! The scale will move again! We can do this!!

Melissa, my skiing was the first time in 10 years, and I actually did really well. By the second day, I was basically at the same level I was at when I stopped skiing. You can do it!!!

Melissa - you can get back in the groove skiing! I was back on skis for the first time in 7 years a few weeks ago. It will come back to you. Take it easy the first couple runs. And enjoy

My anniversary is April 18th. I get to do a shopping spree then. I hope to be down to 143. Wow that date is just around the corner. Seemed so far away when I started this journey. I might wait a bit longer for the spree. Maybe July 16th. I will need summer clothes real bad by then. Maybe just pick up an outfit or two for spring/summer on my anniversary. Hope you have as much fun as I am going to have. I have told myself, if I do not reach that goal by my anniversary then no new clothes.

Andi
Nice going on losing that weight. Don't you worry. You will see the scale going down again real soon.

Terepet
Some people need to pay their own way. Never hurt me to go on loans and grants won't hurt him either. No reason to throw away money. If he pays for it himself he might do better.

Hun
I am glad all of you are having such fun skiing. I have to admit. Going down a mountain on a couple pieces of stick has never really crossed my mind lol.
