Deb - I hope you can find some "me" time soon. I hope you can get some rest this weekend.

Yello - I've bought so many exercise dvd's that were just okay. I wish I hadn't gotten some of them. I recently started with NetFlix and have actually found some so much that I bought them. I wish I had tried out some others before I bought them. I wonder if Blockbuster or Hastings or whatever in your area might have some to rent to try out also. I have never checked at our local library but I read of other people that swear by it. I hope you can find something to work for you.

To the Melissa's and any other Losties - what'd ya think about last night? I can't stop thinking about Lost and reading up on some of the blogs. I just love Desmond! It was different, but kept me on the edge of my seat. I looked at the clock and it was 5 til the hour and I was thinking it should only be 20 after or so. Maybe something's wrong with my time continuum! Oh, and I believe one or both of you are Survivor fans too, right? Ozzy is a machine!! Am I right!

Sara - I, too, feel like I'm obsessed with all things health and weight related.

Danielle - I hope you get to feeling better soon.

I'm going to cut it short today. I am crampy and can barely keep my eyes open. I am craving sweets really bad! I haven't been like this in a while. I'm not sure how I'm going to proceed. To cheat or not to cheat? Hmmmm???

LOL...Karen maybe YOU are time flipping! Last nights episode was strange. I was totally confused for the first 20 minutes. Very very interesting and makes me wonder just how long they've really been on the island. So weird. I did miss seeing the other characters though. I want to know more about Kate's son!! Big survivor fan too!! I love Ozzy, I hate to root for him though because once I do they are gonna give him the boot, looks like next week they rearrange the teams, thankfully he's got the idol. I really dont get keeping Chet over Micky B. So dumb! Thats what gets me so frustrated about these vote off shows, they vote off the strong ones. Thats so unfair!

Morning Ladies! I hope everyone is having a great leap day!

Yello--I have borrowed workout videos from the library. It's a great way to preview before buying if your library system has a good supply of videos. You can also try netflix. I've heard they have lots of exercise dvds.

Mom23BC--Congrats on losing the water weight and on your workouts with the kids. It sounds like you're having a fun time.

Danielle--Sorry to hear you're not feeling well. I hope it will pass quickly and you'll be up to speed soon.

Muse--Congrats on the 14s! How exciting! You're doing great.

Rennie--How kind of you to help out your friend. I hope she has a smooth recovery.

Cecil--Good luck this weekend. Here are my tips: 1)Make good choices in the food you eat when you are out. (Salad with dressing on the side, lean meat, etc.) 2) Portion control. If you really want something yummy and high in calories, either just have a taste of someone else's or split the order with someone else (then you're not tempted to eat the whole thing). I can't help with the drinks since I don't drink. I always order water when I eat out.

Cassie & Melissa--Good luck on those papers!

Bella mia--I'm sorry your really feeling the weight struggle right now. It can be so hard.

Melissa73--Congrats on the great workouts and on the new bike on layaway! What a fun way to reward yourself for all your hard work.

Skinnyvibes--Great job on your eating!

Laura--You are truly amazing when it comes to exercise. Wow!

Tina--It sounds like the OA meetings have been so great. I'm glad you've found a great support with women in that group. Congrats on the NSV!

Counting--You give such great advice! And you're an inspiration. Thanks!

Karen & Terapet-- Hi! Thanks for thinking of me!

I don't get keeping Chet over Micky B just like I thought it was too early to get rid of Yau Man. You're not supposed to vote off the strong ones until after the merge. (meaning Yau Man was mentally strong rather than physically strong) I was not as impressed so far this time with Ozzy (being attached to Amanda's tonsils mostly) but after last night I remember why I love him!

And I could talk Lost forever even though I have no clue!

Mom23BC-

Well I'm still mostly in 16's the 14s are snug lol... I'm just amused I can get them on. The one pair I was wearing yesterday had some give to it so I'm really still in 16s. I think the only reason I'm able to wear this small of a size at this high of a weight is totally because of the muscle weight I've put on especially in my legs. Muscle being so much denser. I think size 18 at your weight is just about perfect. Last time I got down this low (217 was my "previous" low) and wasn't working out much I was also an 18. So I think you're right on track.

I checked out the new gym today. OMG so hot in there and for some reason the treadmills were on an incline even at 0 grade. I only ran for 10 minutes and the rest of my workout today was just walking. My legs were also tired from cranking it on the exercise bike yesterday (did level 3 the whole 60mins) so I decided to take it easy today.

If the room with the treadmills is always this hot I'm going to have to learn to run outside more in the spring. I'm not complaining though the membership is totally worth it just for the pool.

Hope everyone else is having a better day!

ksk571 - can you "cheat" on something not too bad? One of those Mcdonalds yoghurt cones I think is about 150 calories... or skinny cows etc? I have days like that too where I want to eat everything in site I try to keep the damage minimal and put in a bit extra workout time to counter-balance.

PS everyone - Danskin is having a 29 percent off sale today for leap day if anyone is looking for workout wear I think they carry some plus sizes I know I've definately seen XXL but I'm not sure how high they go. I'm considering getting some bike shorts or bathing suit.

Thanks for the suggestions! I actually got called into a meeting after I wrote that and then I had to leave work to avoid overtime. By the time I made it home I was over it and don't have anything all that bad in the house. I had veggies and dip and it was really good. I need to head off to the grocery store and am going to do my best to not TOM shop!

Congrats on on the 14's! They'll be loose in no time!!

Quick fly-by to say hello! Looks like most of our chickies are feeling better. Let's stay strong through the weekend!

I was feeling a bit queasy today (lots of flu going around) so I only did some ski walking in our freshly-fallen snow instead of my usual 2 indoor workouts. I'm hoping the extra rest was worth it. So, I'm off to bed early tonight.

GO RED!

Good morning ladies! Well TOM has come a few days early. But so far it hasn't made a huge difference. It looks gorgeous outside today! I think we'll be going for a walk or something today. Definitely take little man outside to play. I didn't get my entire walk in yesterday. Everytime I tried to get on my tredmill someone showed up. Well time to make some coffee and get moving.

Good Morning Red Team~
Man, yesterday was such a bust!! I got 2 miles in, but I ate like.... I don't know what. I just had the munchies. What threw me over was eating probably 4-6oz of jalapeno smoked almonds. Ugh and yummo at the same time. I counted them as 24 pts, my book says 4pts per 1oz, which I used my WPA's almost up. I got on track right after that and I'm back on it today. I did 1 mile jog, Leslie has a video, which has some leg work after the jogging, and then I did the 1 mile for Abs with the belt. I'll probably ride my bike this evening while watching t.v. I had a decent breakfast this morning and have been drinking my lemon water, almost through my first 32ozs.
I need to catch up on the posts, looks like about 5 pages! Have a wonderful weekend. We got hit with a lot of snow yesterday but today the sun is out and it looks awesome out. I think I might go shopping for some new workout clothes and grab a couple of pair of jeans.
Talk to ya'll later.

I want to know more about Kate's son!!

Are you talking about Lost? Cause Kate's son was named Aaron which makes me wonder if it's Clair's baby she has. And I do find it confusing with the flash forwards now and all that.

Good Morning Red!

Thanks for all the get well wishes, I think they may have worked! I slept really well last night and woke up today about 7:30. I've worked out- eliptical for 30 and 20min. weights, started laundry and had breakfast. Yup, I'd say I'm definitely feeling better!

Muse, that is fabulous news about the 14's!!! I can't wait til I'm there, but I've got a long way to go! Glad to hear you found a great deal on a place to workout, will be great training for your race!

CountingDown, you are so positive and upbeat, I love it. I do hope you are feeling better today and not down with the sickies like the rest of us.

Skinnyvibes, nice weather in your neck of the woods too, huh? Sounds like you have a great day planned and I'm sure the little one will love being outdoors! You're doing fantastic, I love reading about what you're up to.

Karen, how'd that shopping go? No TOM food, right? I hate when I get like that too. Now that I think of it, I better start bracing myself, next Saturday is d-day for me. lol

Jen, how are you? Are you busy with the kiddies and school stuff? Hope things are good in your world today!

Yello, hi! No, I've never taken videos out at the library. Of course here it seems like all the stuff they have is old old old... like big hair, leotard, head-band old! LOL I hope you find something you really like!

Deb, so good to see you! Hey, no loss is better than a gain in my book! Sorry work is so stressful but I do hope we see you again very soon!!

Mom23BC, it sounds like you have had a lot of fun with those walks! Your kids must really enjoy getting to spend all that time with them, they will certainly remember good times when they are grown. Thrilled to hear you are on course to meet your goal. Even if you don't make it, look at all you have accomplished. Go you!!!

Well alright, guess it's time to get busy around here. I hope you ladies have a fantastic Saturday and keep up the great work we have going on!!! I'm so proud of you guys!

Cathy...thats what I'm thinking too, but why would she have Claire's baby? What happened to Claire? And why doesnt Jack want to go see him?

Danielle...I am SOOOO happy that you are feeling better!! Grays skies are gonna clear up! LOL!

Okay so WW today, down .2, I'll take it!! I think sodium really did a number on me this week. I didnt expect a loss at all so to see the scale down, even a little bit is good news for me!

Last nights workout was tough. I just didnt feel it. It was so hard to run, I couldnt go 2 minutes. Everything hurt from my lower pack to my pinky toe. I did run 1 minute and walk 4 for 30 minutes, then I walked for 15 minutes holding 2 5 lbs weights (that is SO HARD) and then I walked another 15 minutes. So all in all not too bad. I got in an hour and thats what matters!

Hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend!

Well, if it is Claire's son....which I believe to be true....then he is also Jack's half-nephew. I wonder if something happens to Claire, Jack finds out later Claire was his half sister and is feeling too much guilt to see him. I don't know why Claire would stay on the island without Aaron. I really want to know how it will all play out.

I did a small amount of TOM shopping. It was a waiting in line impulse. It's over and I'm moving on. Doing better today with all of that. I'm going to dinner with my sister and nephew this evening and am planning on staying on track.
