Good morning, Accountability Friends!

This morning, I was greeted by nature's alarm clock... a big crash of thunder and lightning that felt like it was right there in my bedroom! I just heard on the news that 54,000 homes in the Atlanta area are now without electricity. Fortunately, our home is not one of them. I have too much work to be without power today. That project that has been driving me absolutely nuts is due this Friday and I'm stressing. I can't wait to complete it and get it off my desk!

Cristina – Congratulations on your pound loss!
Dionne – Congratulations on breaking that plateau!
Vanessa – I’m so sorry that you can’t visit with Dad today. Hope your son starts feeling better quickly.
Chellez – Glad your throat is starting to feel better. Did you get some good rest last night?
Purple – Glad you feeling strong again! You’re gonna have a great month!
Pam - It does feel like everyone is getting sick at one time, huh? This has been a rough year for illnesses. Glad Brianna is feeling better. Hope your son gets better soon.
Zinke – It is so difficult to stay on-plan when life gets stressful…but, I have faith in you! You can do this!
Victoria – Did “stinky” move out?
Dee – Sorry to hear that you’ve had to work so much overtime. Hope things lighten up for you soon.
Anna – How’s Meara? A fresh start on your plan sounds like a great idea. I hope your body starts responding to your weight loss efforts soon.
Nori - I haven't looked at the weigh-in thread yet. We lost a lot of people this week? How sad. I hope this doesn't mean that they are all off-plan now.

Yesterday was a 100% on-plan day with food, but no exercise again. I decided to put in extra time on my project as I'm running behind. This morning, I have a mammogram appointment, so I may end up working over again today to catch up.

Hope everyone has a great on-plan day. I'll be back later to check in. GO BLUE!!!

I did get some sleep last night but it was after I took myself back onto the couch that I got it. For some reason every night at 1 am I go into coughing fits. So after about 5 minutes of coughing straight I just went into the living room to sleep. I just woke up at 9 and I think I fell asleep around 2 so things are getting better.

My hubby was supposed to go to work today but I'm assuming he's been having trouble sleeping as well because he's still crashed out in the bed... What a bum.

Heading into work in a few hours so I'll be back then!

BAH! I'm so angry I could scream!

It's about 9:45 and I was psyched about going in and getting some stuff done for work today... I get a call from my boss and he says his wife doesn't want me to come in until 3:00 pm tomorrow! OMG I'm so aggravated. I know I'm on antibiotics and may be contagious but my boss and I had worked out a plan where I wouldn't be in the office the same time he would and I would just do what was needed and leave... but now that can't happen.

I'm really sorry for the confusion, I know I keep saying one thing one minute and another thing the next. But really I have no control over this junk.

She is still throwing up as late as 2 this morning. She barely weighs anything, so I am not sure how long this can go on.

Ah, the mammogram. Like have a truck run over your boob.

Chelle--We know these things are not in your control. Hang in there. We will be patient. Though I understand the boss's wife's wanting to protect her family, she is ill-informed:

Hi All. I went shopping yesterday. I ordered a filter for my camera and bought a couple books. Me and Aiden went out for lunch and I was bad. On the other hand Aiden is really well behaved at restaurants. It was actually like a mini date with him. I think I'll do it more often. Although I only ate half and for dinner had sushi and just a slim fast shake for breakfast for everything may have ended out okay. I spent all day yanking my pants up. I honestly thought maybe I had accidently put on my 26's which are really big. I checked and I was wearing my 22's. I have a pair of 18's waiting. I was hoping I wouldn't have to by any 20's but it looks like I may have to. I don't like belts with jeans. I'm still being bad and not writing everything down. Today I'm having fish and veggies for lunch. Yum.

I can't believe it's snowing here again today. I'm so ready for spring. We all are in our household!

Last night we invited some friends over for dinner. They have a 3 y/o who gets along great with our kids and they're expecting their 2nd any day now. The wife is a vegetarian so I made homemade tortillas and sweet potato-black bean quesadillas and a spinach & orange salad. It felt so good to eat veggies again. We spent the weekend with my mom and she's like the anti-veg. We always feel like crap when we leave there, physically, though it's nice to see family too. It's a toss up I guess.

I'm anxious to see blue team's results this week. Did we lose people? That's too bad. I think the weather is playing a big role in my stagnation. Though I did lose last week. I need to get back into exercising. My biggest problem is finding the time to do it when my kids' naps don't coincide.

TBL is on tonight right? So I may try to do it during commercial breaks. What are some exercises I can do in my living room (no equipment) during commercial breaks?

Actually, I'm not sure if we "lost" members this week - I know when I glanced there was quite a few where this was their 2nd "undocumented" freebie week. So they technically are still in it! COME BACK FRIENDS!

Sorry Meara is still so sick. Is she keeping anything down? I get worried when they get dehydrated.

I'm glad you went shopping, Karen! I don't do belts either!

Well, I'm off to the pediatric urologist with Olivia this morning. She's got a very small cyst on her urethra. I have no idea really what this means. The regular ped wasn't overly worried, but since she is having some discomfort down there, it's best to check it out.

Home from ped specialist and she has a paraurethral cyst. Since her discomfort is minimal and since these usually spontaneously rupture and decompress, we decided to leave it alone. She may need surgery if it changes.

SLOW day here! Hope everyone is OP though!! I'm off to the gym when the childcare room opens at 4pm. Gotta do lower body and cardio. I enjoy working out in the AM so much more though.

Rhonda - what section is that C25K thread in? I couldn't find it yesterday. Thanks!

Chelle, don't even stress about getting the results up. We can wait, just take care of yourself. We all know how much you put into this challenge and appreciates your efforts tremendously, so please don't worry about getting it done quickly, you'll get to it when you do and we'll all be happy. Glad you are feeling a bit better.

Glad to hear Olivia is okay, Nori.

Karen, that is so cute that you and Aiden had a "date." Some good quality time, I'm sure.

Anna, I can't believe Meara is still so sick. Seems like an awful long time to be throwing up. Any ideas what is wrong with her? I hope she feels better soon, and I hope you don't end up with what she has.

Rhonda, Glad you still have power! Thunderstorms are so cool but they sure can create an inconvenience when they area really bad. However, a massive power outage would have made a darn good excuse for putting off your project until later.

It is definitely slow here, today. Everyone must be enjoying the spring temps (especially you Hoosier Heather!), it's over 75 here in the desert today. I had to laugh because on my run this afternoon I was moaning about how I'm going to have to start to get up earlier to run in the morning becuase it is so hot...and it's only February! I'm also going to have to figure out how to carry water on my long runs. My hands are already full becuase I have my ipod and keys in one hand and my pepper spray (I run on trails and am paranoid) in the other, so I'm going to have to be creative to carry water, too. And I'm going to look like a dork carrying so much junk. I did 8 miles today, though, and I really wished I had a bottle of water with me at about mile 5.

I'm glad to report that I am binge free for two days straight. Hopefully by the end of the week I will be able to get to where I was at last weeks weigh in. If not I will just use my second free week and I'm sure I will be back there within 2 weeks.

Nori, to answer your question about health food binges v. unhealthy food binges, my caloric intake is not significantly different because it is only the trigger that is healthy as of late. Once I get going there is no healthy food involved.

thanks for all the sweet thoughts for my girl. I think she just has a virus (judging from my headache, I am next. yippee). She probably would have been fine if she had a full day of tummy rest yesterday, but her father (who is a man, which explains a lot) gave her yogurt while I was gone for a bit last night. Seriously, who gives dairy and sugar to a puker? Anyway, he has been properly guilted.

Of course that all came up, but she was hungry. She had some toast, which also came up.

She has kept down her liquids, and she had a solid BM today, so I think she will be OK tomorrow. I am not going to give her tomato soup and grilled cheese or anything crazy like that, but I think she will be able to handle a little more variety tomorrow. Some applesauce and the like.

Thanks again for your kind words.

jordan, are there water bottle things you can put around your waist? or at least your ipod & keys so you'd have a free hand? running 8 miles is awesome! i'm so jealous of your weather too (of course I say that NOW.... I'm sure in July I'd feel differently).

I didn't realize you were supposed to participate in this group chat in order to be in the challenge. I'm not really a chat kinda person, but I've tried to do my best for the team and consistently posted my weights on time. I read through some of the posts and realized that chatting in this forum is part of the whole challenge. I guess I didn't know that going in, because like I said I'm not really a chatter. My primary goal in joining this challenge was to lose weight and I thought being accountable to post my weight each week would do that. I've lost weight every week except this past week, so I think I'm doing pretty well for the team. I've lost over 8 pounds so far. I'll try to stop by and post more now that it's been brought to my attention.
