likenoother: I'm sorry to hear about the foot. I hope it get's better soon and you can still do the c25k thing. I've been wanting to do that to and I wanted to start this month, but TOM had other plans for me. Get some rest and and stay off that foot girly!

Muse: WTG on reaching that 500! That is awesome. I wish I had the motivation right now to get up off my butt EVERYDAY and exercise. We eat everyday, I think we shd move everyday, even if it's a leiaurely walk or bike ride.

Mercee: 1 pound is wunnerful! It's a loss and that's what is important.

Mel: I'll keep this short & sweet, I agree with everything you said.

Good thing my stat's don't count because TOM arrived (again) and I am up 2 lbs. I gotta make a doc appt because I am wondering if early menopause is upon me. I JUST had light TOM 2 weeks ago (early), cramps and all, it left a week and then it came back with a vengence Sunday. WTH?!

Anywho, I am in pain and my mood isn't the greatest... I'm hoping it'll ease up enought that I can at least do the WATP's today.

I am a lil' pissed with myself because last yr at this time I was struggling with the 190's and thought that was the end of the world. I wanted to be in the 180's sooooo bad, and now this yr, I have managed to gain even more and am struggling with the 200's! GRRRRRRR! This is the fattest I have ever been in my entire life. It seems like no matter how good I am, how much I deprive myself from what everyone around me eats, no matter how much I exercise, I just keep gaining! I completely get what likenoother is going through, because somehow I always manage to hurt myself when I do workout lol! I'm a BIG clutz!

Anyway, nuff of my *****ing...

I've been losing my posts more and more on here and of course it has been the long ones and there is no way I'm retyping the one I just lost!

Cmbmom05, Idealmuse, Sugar N Spice, Diva--Thanks for thinking of me. I am definitely taking the Dr's advice. I'm at home today and may take tomorrow off also. I never call in so I do feel a bit guilty but I need to take care of me. I do have some ability to work from home so I will do what I can. I'm at the no excuses point right now. I don't want to do anything to keep me from starting the C25K on November 6th. I feel this is it. I've been on and off this journey for a long time but this is the first time I've ever felt like this is it. The C25K is my means to an end and I'm determined to do it.

Melissa--DITTO! I need 3FC and the Red Team. I feel like you are my sponsors you're there late at night. I also have no problem coming here saying I need help which is actually normally a difficult thing for me.

Diva--Menopause. My mom is in the beginning stages but according to her dr you're not officially going through menopause until you have absent of TOM for 6 consecutive months. She went back and forth and back and forth until she had 6 straight months. Her symptoms have been minimal and she has been dealing with them without medication.

I guess I changed my mind about retyping the post

Well I haven't missed any periods. If anything I am getting them more! LOL! My Mom did that in her later 40's leading up to it so I dunno. I am only 40 and I am no stranger to female problems so we'll see. I had surgery last yr for female issues, and we thought for a good 6 months that I had cancer. When ya have sucky (State) insurance, you are forced to deal with ALOT of time in between appt's. Long story short, There were complications during surgery, I almost died, but the good news is, it wasn't cancer. I know I DO NOT want to take anymore pills that I have to. I already have to tale 5 a day for the diabetes and the asthma.

Anyways....nuff of my fussing, lol. Sorry....

Edit: OMG! Out of couriosity, I weighed myself again... I was up 2 yesterday, and down 3 today. LOL!

Morning!

Diva, my mom had female issues before she had her surgery after I was born. But hers was more like she'd have her TOM for a year straight then be 2 years without it then have it again for 6 month straight. It was like an off and on switch. I'm sure it's not the same as your case, but you're not alone.

I was talking to my boss' wife yesterday and I mentioned it to the Blue Team this morning. Do any of you gals on the Red Team deal with herbalism or muscle testing? I'm kind of curious but my boss' wife is kinda of pushy when it comes to talking about it. It's like she's trying to convert me!

I was going to go get muscle tested today to find out what I can take for my migraines.

Maybe something like that can help you Diva until you can get to the doctor again?

TOM is a mess literally! I began when I was 10 and I just hate it. So DIVA I hope you get this figured out so you can have some type of relief.

Chellez--no help here. I'm clueless to what you're even talking about but I will look it up because I have migraines too. Not as severe has I used to have them. When I was younger I was at the doctor every other week trying to get some type of relief.

likenoother - I was inquiring about natural remedies. It's like alternative to Tylenol and taking other medications but you take combinations of herbs and natural supplements cause it's better for your body.

I ended up going to the herbal store after lunch and I got muscle tested for both myself and my husband since he's sick. It was so weird that she told me exactly what I needed just from holding my wrist! If you have migraines really bad then I would definitely look and see if there's a natural food and herb store in your area and ask if they do muscle testing.

PS: She told me I needed Adaptamax for mine which I have to take 1 at lunch and one at dinner daily to help prevent the migraines from even happening.

Chellez--Thanks for the clarification. I wonder about myself sometimes. I thought that was what you meant. I definitely need to look into that. For a bit I was hitting up my mom (Army vet) and my co-worker (Marine wife) for higher mg of Motrin. The military will give you 600-800mg Motrin. So I stopped that and I now I'm just taking 5 200mg Motrins at a time. I don't do it often because I have less migraines but not good anyway.

I dunno, I have read about different herbs and vitamins and whatnot, but because I take so mant med's I have to clear everything with my doc first. She has this nifty little black do-dad that she punches everything in and researches it for me. I'd have to ask her next time I go in. I AVOID going to the doc like the plegue every since they almost killed me last year, lol! I have had enough poking and proding to last me a lifetime.

Anywho, I feel really tired tonight for some reason so I'm about to hit the hay girlies. Hugs & Love.

I believe you hit the nail on the head! It's exactly what I've been doing. This is my third go around in this challenge and I should know better. It's just so much easier to be sympathetic and encouraging when someone besides YOU is going through a rough patch. But here I am for my daily check in!!
A silver lining though, is a year ago, I would have gained this weight and given up, said I was doing everything right blah blah blah. And for me, that's just not the truth. I THINK about doing everything right, but in reality I'm eating far too many calories and not exercising and I recognize that and am working to change it.

I was supposed to go running this afternoon but my running partner bailed, so I'm going to do some yoga and stretch out my sore legs. I ate pretty good today, split a muffin with a co worker (it was delicious!) and took a bite of a cookie and decided that it wasn't worth the calories and threw it in the trash.

Chellez, Diva and Likenother I'm sorry to hear about all your medical maladies!

I have been on here a lot today but its been extremely helpful to distract me because I want to be bad. I am crying up a storm tonight with the show. A true sign TOM is on his way.

AmberD--Thanks for thinking of me. I feel really fortunate to have such a great team!

I'm so getting ready to start the C25K program in November. I signed up on the www.coolrunning.com website. I will probably buy 1 sportsbra to start (make sure I like it first) by next week. I'm starting to get excited. I guess that's a good thing.

Here comes the weigh in..gotta go.

Good Morning Red team! Sorry to have been a little MIA the past couple of days but I had my tax exam yesterday...thank god that is over for a few weeks! Although I should probably stay just as vigilant on it. anyway..Diva, no you didnt miss the survey I didnt do one. But I'll do it this morning while I await the little one to be ready to go!

Its National Walk to School Day today and I actually get to walk her to school! LOL!

I was bad last night and caved and ate pizza! We provided pizza for PTA last night and the plan was to have some just not have the crust (I'm doing low carb) well by the time the meeting was over (I'm the president so I do most all the talking) it was cold and I was starved so i just ate a piece...then another half a piece. Wasnt even that good!

Everyone see the show last night? What is up with the Red team? They win all the challenges and then their weighins arent great. I like them though I really like Phil and the cowboy. I really dont like blue team! Except Bob...so I hope for the blue team because of bob but I dont like the members LOL! Of all of them though I did kinda like Patty. Really looking forward to less manboobs! Good lord!

Okay I better scoot! Have a wonderful day Red team!!

Week 4 Survey:

1.What is your trigger food?(the one you really struggle to say no to like Bob and his cupcakes last night on the show?)

2. What is your favorite healthy snack?

3. Which would you rather have...a new pair of shoes or a new piece of jewelery?

4. What kind of purse do you carry...small but efficient or large and prepared?

5. Do you collect anything?

6. Do you plan on treating yourself to something besides a new wardrobe when you reach your goal? What is it?

7. What was the last goal that you went for and acheived?

8. Would you rather be outdoors or indoors?

9. Have you started decorating for Halloween yet?

10. What about yourself are you most proud of?

have fun!!!

Gorgoeus sweet Bob is the ONLY one I give a crap about on the Blue team. I liked Jerry and I liked patty and now they are gone. They are dead to me now. LOL!

There's no one I care about at all on the Red.

I am slowly warming up to Jillian and I love her black team!!! Go underdogs!!!

And you are so right, man boobs are gross.
