Hey everyone! Just checking in, Jillian's still kicking my *** and I've been walking too. Yesterday was my birthday, so I had some cake but I think I'm just going to throw the rest of it away so I'm not tempted to eat anymore of it. Weigh-in tomorrow for me, I hope it goes well!

Kelli--Congrats on the one pound loss and the loose pants!

justgetitdone--Sometimes gains happen. The scale is really likely to go up from the salt in restaurant food. Just keep going and it will come off again.

Diva--I just got a ball and am looking forward to getting started on it.

LawMom--throw out that cake! That's what I'm starting to do if it's something I don't think the rest of the family will inhale right away. Then I don't have to think "should I eat it or not?"

I'm sitting here in my pjs drinking coffee, but I'm going to do my workout soon, then have breakfast. I don't feel hungry at all this morning, for whatever reason. I have dinner all planned out and even took the meat out of the freezer (I always forget to do that!). I think I will do some laundry, I know should study and wash my kitchen floor, and I'm not sure what else I'll do today.

Everyone is doinf a fantastic job this week. I lost 2 lbs this week ,which I think is all due to my TOM. I need to inplement a better schedule for myself. It feels like most days there are just not enough hours in the day to accomplish everything I want to. Any ideas would be much appreciated. I spend almost 12 hours a day at work(that includes the hour commute each way). By the time I get home it is time to cook dinner, clean up, and then I am so exhausted that I end up going to bed. I have managed to get a little exercise time on my lunch break this week, but I would like to set a more concrete schedule for myself. I know it is hard but maybe if I get a few suggestions I can form a new perspective. I find that if I want to make a permanent change I need structure. On that note thank you for letting me ramble and I wish you all the best of luck this week.

OMFG! I am upset. I'm injured. I was walking and talking and not paying attention and twisted my ankle/foot whatever. It HURTS!! It is the same foot I broke 15 years ago. I'm elevating and icing it now. I hope that solves the problem. Thank goodness I'm not doing the C25K until Nov. I hope I don't have to go to the doctor.

LawMom, HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY!!! I do hope you enjoyed your day sweetie! Good for you for chuckin the rest of the cake. To me, too much temptation w/ it laying around! Stay strong lady!

timeforachange, congratz on your 2 pounds! I know what you mean about finding a schedule that works to fit everything in. Some days I'd swear I need to put on my "supermom" cape because it's just not possible to fit it all in. lol I hope you find something that works for you, I am currently trying to figure it out myself!

just get it done, aw 1 pound. I'm sorry. It'll be gone before ya know it. I hope you had a good time out of town, tho? I had a super huge gain this week and I have absolutely no idea why. NONE. I've done everything to the letter and all I got to show for it was a 7.5lb gain! Needless to say, I'll be taking a freebie this week! Hang in there hon, you're doing fab!

kelli, yay 1 pound lost! You're shrinking babe, your clothes are proof!

likenoother, I'm so sorry you're hurt! I hope you feel better soon!

Hi ladies! I hope everyone is having a great weekend. I'm doing good. I've exercised a lot more than usual this week, which is good. I took the last two days off, just wasn't enough time in the day. Today, is a different story, later I'm gonna get a run in and I think we are going to take DD bowling this afternoon. Didn't do so good on my eating this week, ate out too many times and had too many alcoholic beverages...I know we had a birthday party and I let myself get out of control...but I'm back on track today. Yesterday I went shopping at Dillards and was excited to be able to shop in the misses not the womens department, not only that, but I bought a smaller size of jeans, if thats not motivating I don't know what is

Congrats to all that have lost this week.

Timeforachange: What works best for me is getting up an hour early and exercising. That way I get it done and out of the way. I'm more likely to make excuses later in the day why I don't have time. Good luck on making your schedule.

LawMom: You'll have to let me know which of Jillian's dvds are her best ones. I was gonna put one of her dvds on my netflix list but didn't know which to choose.

Diva: how I wish I had a DVR. I just pumped up my exercise ball but have yet to use it. Is there a show or dvd you would recommend?

likenoother: I hope you find the support your looking for. Good luck on the C25K. I've love running and hope you find enjoyment in it too.

Justgetitdone: Hope you're back on track now...

Kelli-great job! One pound is great, you're moving in the right direction. I know how ya feel about the loose pants, its great isn't it.

Melissa: I'm here...I'm here... my goal next week...more posts, more exercise, clean food and less beers. Hope you enjoyed your weekend.

Mariposita: Great job on inches lost. Thanks for the tip, I'm always looking for new forms of exercise. On Turbulance Training, do you need hand weights if so how heavy?

Danielle- Hey girl, you hit the nail on the head...Been an exercising fool...and my head is spinning from all the running around I've done this last week. This next week doesn't look much better. But I guess, I wouldn't want it any other way. Did I see in an earlier post you may have to go back to work...That sucks. I would love to be able to stay at home. I wouldn't even mind working out of my home..as long as it wasn't daycare...

Muse: I definitely think water has its benefits. Before starting 3FC I used to rarely drink water. I drank mostly diet coke. In the evenings I'd eat a big supper and still be craving something sweet. Once I weened myself off diet coke I quit having those urges. I try and stay away from the diet stuff (cuz its soooo addicting), if I feel that I "need" a pop then I drink one regular pop to satisfy the urge. Good luck on kicking the can to the curb

Have a great day!

Bridgette.

Idealmuse--Thanks for the input
Sugar N Spice & dream710--Thanks for the support

Its worse than I thought. I can't even bear weight on my right foot. I am doing my best to stay off it but I probably need to go to the doctor tomorrow. Damn me!

Well, luckily I had been sneaking on the scale even though I weigh in on Mondays. So I just reported my weight today. I'm down 3 lbs. I am very happy with that! If I keep it up I should definitely make my Halloween goal and my TBL goal. The positive--at least I haven't been exercising so it doesn't derail that plan ! But I hope it doesn't last too long to delay my C25K plan.

Hi everyone!

Likenoother- I'm sorry about your injury. I hope you get better soon.

Happed Belated Birthday, LawMom.

Congrats on everyone who lost weight! Justgetitdone, I know you feel bad for the gain, but don't worry, I know you'll kick butt next week.

Ugg, I'm just a little peeved. I was starving, and everyone wanted pizza for dinner. I decided to get a garden salad and avoid the pizza at all cost. Well, I did manage to avoid the pizza, but another problem arose. The garden salad I ordered was supposed to contain lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, radishes and olives. Well When I open my salad, I find everything that was supposed to be in the garden salad, but with an additional ingredient...about a pound of feta cheese. It was insane. I've never seen that much cheese on a salad in my life. I was trying to eat around the feta, but that was impossible since feta breaks up into tiny pieces. I was just pissed off, and didn't feel like going all the way to the pizza place to complain about a salad.

OK, I feel a little better now. Sorry for my rant. I'll try not to let it bother me too much, even though I'm starved!

Looks like everyone had a great week!

Sorry guys i couldn't help myself I hit the 500 minutes on the challenge, but I think we should keep going until we all hit it!

I probably put in about 2 hours more then I usually would, so it may pay off.

Thanks Veggielady for the support. I have a 9am dr's appt. Ugh! Mom is helping out this morning and BF will be over later. Thank goodness so I don't have to crawl or hop all over my apt like I've been doing since yesterday. I'm thinking it will be another great week for weightloss then because I will really think before making that trek to the fridge.

Idealmuse--Congrats on reaching the 500 minutes!

Good morning all! Can you believe it is the first day of October?

Sorry I forgot to say

to you, LawMom!

And Likenoother, I hope you're feeling better and if you go to the doctor, you find out it's something simple.

Bridgette, you don't need any weights for TT. I'm still in the first series of workouts and so far I've needed a step for doing step-ups and split squats and a resistance band for an arm exercise. I use the step my dogs use to jump up onto the bed, which isn't fantastic, but it works! You just move your own body weight to do the workout. For example, yesterday's exercises were a warm-up of squats, plank, and push-ups. Then the work-out itself was step-ups, stick-ups, split squats, kneeling close-grip push-ups, bicycle crunch, and hip extension (like hip lifts). Not a huge number of repetitions either, but really effective.

OK, ladies, I have a busy day today. I'm at my internship almost the whole day, so I have to shower and dress and pack up all my little healthy snacks. I will so NOT be including the peanut butter cookies I made yesterday. I did sample a few and they were very good. No more today though. And I hope to get some walking in if the weather holds during lunch. It is raining here today though.

Have a great day!

Well, I weighed in this morning and didn't lose any but didn't gain. I'm happy with that considering how naughty I was this last week. I've packed my lunch for today, all healthy stuff. I'm even gonna try something new...veggie dogs...hope they taste good or all be starvin...

Have a great day.

Bridgette.
