well off for another night shift... i'm gonna try and get a workout in tomorrow... see how i do after a night shift.. i hate not working out for 4 days in a row (ha! never thought i'd say that!!) anyway.. doin good with the water.. staying on plan... Just wanted to give you ladies a quick update.... its 10:02 and all the weights are in. Only two people didn't weigh in so they are going to use freebie weeks.
I looked earlier and I dont think we won this week but we lost a lot of weight!! I'll let you know in the official post tomorrow morning! |

Ah another day of 81 degrees in my neighborhood, I know its just as warm at candle's house (considering she's only 20 mins away!) :lol: How's the weather for the rest of you? :sunny: I hope! We get a big batch of rain tomorrow and Thursday which will cool us down into the 60s for the weekend. Figures it gets cold when I don't have work or school. :rolleyes: Today is my big weigh in! It'll complete my first full week on WW so I'm eating light today and even put on light clothes. I'm having a hard time pulling myself away from the scale :goodscale but I keep seeing good numbers at home so I'm hoping that my scale and the WW scales are not that far off. Last time they were only .3 lbs off so I dunno. I weighed this morning on my scale and I'm down to 191 :carrot: almost 180s again! Wish me :goodluck: this afternoon! Speaking of 180s... thats where I got stuck and went backwards last challenge. I think this time around is different because I'm taking the time out to plan! As far as challenges, I noticed that people want an exercise challenge (I'm finishing that today and posting it I promise! :high: ) And some want a water challenge. I think we should do the exercise one against the red team then challenge within the team for the water one (sorta like they do the RED WINS challenge and its just for them.) Fair enough? I'm missing my cheerleaders! :cheer2: We need to get the team motivated for the upcoming week! I have a team motto for this week. I posted it in the result thread but I want to post it here again so you can see it. Heck, I'm taking a post it note out now so I can carry it with me everywhere! Team motto/motivation this week: "You must begin to think of yourself as becoming the person you want to be." - David Viscott As far as results, if the red team does win, don't be bummed out. We as a team lost almost 40 pounds this past week and that's something to be proud of! :D We can step it up this week and come back with a vengence! :wl: It's also time for a new Weekly Team Topic! :yay: I know you all are so excited about my long post at 9 in the morning :tired: :coffee: Weekly Team Topic: What rituals or good luck charms do you do or keep around you on/before weigh in day? Personally I didn't start doing this until this week, but I'm wearing lighter clothes and I'm eatting lighter foods today. Notice I didn't say skipping meals all together, just eatting smaller, lighter things in the morning so I'm not on a full stomach by 5:30 when I weigh in. ;) That's about all I have for the team in general. I'm going to post that exercise challenge today... How do you want to do the water challenge? X amount of ozs pers week or something where we fill a particular type of thing with water? I have about 61 more pounds to lose and I know once I get past a certain point it's going to get harder. I'm dreading the fact I'm loosing all this weight then in 24 months Daniel wants to start trying for a baby. :eek: I'll gain all that weight back and I'm so afraid. I know that I'll have the knowledge to make it go away again but still... :lol: Lisa - I'm so sorry that I totally missed your questions! I'm just getting to catch up on Sunday's posts so let me answer some of those you had. I think you figured out where to post your weight so I won't go over that again ;) I won't post individual losses every week. But every 4 weeks I'll be releasing a chart that has the entire team on it and shows everyones weight and weight loss percentage (I got a tip from Bobbi on the last challenge that it was a huge motivation.) So you'll know where you stand in another 2 weeks. Think of it like a progress report. For the Weekly Team Topics, you just post those here with everything else. Hope this helps! Kay - Congrats on getting in that 5K walk and lowering that BMI! :bravo: Cathy - Are you new to Weight Watchers as well? Okay I wrote a long post this morning and it disappered so this is going to have to be quick! I just wanted to say even though we didn't win this week we lost over 40lbs as a team, and that is something to be really proud of! I feel really motivated this challange and looking forward to actually reaching my goal this time around! Keep up all your good work ladies! Well I am off to pick up the house and keep the laundry rolling before I have to pick up my little man from school! I hope you all are having beautiful weather also! Have a wonderful day ladies!

Happy Tuesday. It's raining here and cold in Toronto - it's only 9 degrees today - thats 48 degrees for all the americans. I just finished the boot camp workout in the biggest loser. I liked it but it's challenging. I didn't use weights this time - last time I did the strength and sculpt with 5lb weights and I couldn't move for 3 days!!! I love at the end of the stretch when Bob says "I'm so proud of you" My ritual before I get on the scale is to get as naked as possible and tell myself that even if it's higher than expected, not to let that de-motivate me to stop the plan of action. A gain can sometimes send one into a tailspin of defeat and directly to the fridge! Canadian Mom - on the YOU on a diet plan they recommend at least 10,000 steps per day and I think that is pretty standard across the board -anyone please feel free to correct me if I am mistaken. Have a good evening ladies. I am taking my two year old to see the Raptors tonight - hope we win or we are out of the playoffs!!! |

Today I took the day off from exercising. My back is killing me from the cramps from hades even with Advil. :shrug: But I'm doing well with water and food. The weather here today has been in the 60's, grey with scattered showers. But the rain is suppose to clear out and it'll be nice the rest of the week. Chellez~ I just started WW on 2 April. So tomorrow is 1 month and I've lost a total of 9lbs. :woohoo: Jen~ 10,000 steps is what is recommended. Now with WW I just take my shoes off and cross my fingers. ;) I hope everyone has a good evening. I'm going to go lay down and relax a bit before getting dinner going. |

Before weighing, I pee, spit, clip my nails, shave my head, and take my contacts out. Heh. And yes, I'm kidding about all but the first one. Truthfully, I try to WI before lunch, around mid-morning, before my morning snack, if I can. I do wear jeans most times, but I try to choose the lightest of my jeans that are clean. Shoes come off, as does any heavy jewelry and any cardigan or blazer I might be wearing. I try not to sweat too much over a tiny fluctuation in my weight, as I know if it's a clothing-based gain, that it'll even itself out over time. |
I weight in @ home on a WW scale that I am not sure works or not. The damn thing seems stuck between 201 and 198....What's up with that? LOL! Anyways, I "try" to only weigh myself once a week and it's usually in the morning after a good number 2 :o and before breakfast. ;)
Today I did: 10 minutes warm up and stretching 10 minutes low impact Aerobic's 40 minutes High impact Aerobic's a few crunches. |

My randomness is due to my true excitement. I just got home from my WW meeting and I felt like the star of the show.... I lost 6.8 pounds in my first week! :carrot: :broc: :cb: That puts me at a smooth 190 so I need to bump it up this week to get into my mid 80s! PS: I totally forgot today was the first of the month thus time for invoicing at my work. So I didn't get time to work on the exercise challenge at work but I'll be jumping on it promptly after dinner since Idol wont be that great this week! :D PPS: I told my WW meeting leader about the Blue Team's excellent loss this week! She was so thrilled! ;) PPPS: I was totally wearing all blue today and didn't even notice til I got to the meeting and everyone else was wearing pink! I'll take a new progress picture tonight in my blueness so you can see! :hug: Ok I think I'm done for now. :dizzy: |
