Good afternoon ladies! I am just sneaking in here before I have to head off to my sons bb game! I was going to wait until tommorow to weigh-in but I couldn't hold off any longer so I did it today and I finally made it back into the 130's...barely but I did make it! I have not been there since before the holidays and it feels sooooo good! I am looking forward to watching the number go down again next week. I will weigh-in on Fridays now which was is my usual weigh-in day....I just wanted to make sure this period was good and over this week! Well you all have a fantastic weekend.....the weather is sunny and warm here so I am happy!

Sounds like everyone is having an awesome day!! :yay: This morning I did my WATP Walk Strong using 5lb weights. KD~ I also looked at your before and after pics and you look awesome!!! Great job and very inspirational to me as our heaviest weights are the same. You rock!!! :D :congrat: to all of us for completing our first week towards a healthier us. :high: |
well Im pretty frustrated right now...... not to the give up and throw the towel NO WAY... Im in it for the long haul BUT..... that being said...... I weighed myself just now and im actually up 1 lb!!!!!!
Now let me explain something though...... Im not sure exactly where or when I lost control but my start weight was 275 but the night before the challenge actually started I hopped on the scale expecting the same and was up to 281!!! scary i know...... so i really told myself wow.... you are out of control and this ends NOW..... so from sunday 4/21 until 4/24 I managed to get down to 274...which is a LOT of weight to lose in that short of time but I thought YES keep this up.... so from the start of the week : I have worked out for at least 30 minutes 5 days this week I havent drank any carbonated drink of any kind diet or otherwise I have been DOWING the water like theres no tomorrow I havent eaten any fast food im eating less than 1/2 calories of what I probably was eating before this challenge some im under 2000 this week for sure and those calories are mostly from salads w fat free dressing and fresh veggies and grilled pork chops treated myself to ONE hot roll which is just... a roll.... that was the only "cheating" I did at ALL this week and everyday (which is why i shouldnt weigh myself but on WI days!!!!! DUH!!!) I just noticed that I was going back up so i dont know if my body is in shock from the dramatic change if the fact that next week is my visit from flow or im retaining a lot of water..... come to think of it I have been eating a lot of that 0 calorie ww soup this week and when i look back i am probably a little high with the sodium intake either way im not going to officially weigh in until Monday morning that is going to be my WI since that what it usually is anyway but I want you to know that I am still truckin along and Im very proud of myself with the choices I have made and the things I have turned down I am not giving up at ALL.... maybe its just going to take a little time to jumpstart my body and im ok with that.......just frustrating.....Im going to take my measurements tonight just as another way to keep track. oh and I guess another way to look at it is my ACTUAL starting weight was 281 and im at 276 now so TECHNICALLY ive lost 5 lbs but the goal for the rest the next two days is to at least get back to 275 or maybe 274... either way......TRUST ME any day now this is gonna start melting away from all this hard work SO WATCH OUT RED TEAM!!!!! keep on truckin ladies and i'll keep you posted on Monday to my OFFICIAL weight!!!!! |
Yesterday was pretty good I must say :) I did have some french fries, but I didn't go over board, and everything else I ate was healthy. I drank a ton of water, 4 litres, I don't know why but I was so so so thirsty and couldn't stop drinking. I didn't exercise or clean (we ended up going shopping for a co-workers baby shower instead), but I did finally get a hold of the gym and found a new personal trainer.
I guess my old one quit and no one bothered to tell me which I was kinda peeved about :mad: but I had only seen her twice I guess and then it'd been like a month and a half (surgery, plus majorly busy at work), so maybe they'd assumed I wasn't coming back. Though I did call to set up an appt. and no one told me she didn't work there, they just said they'd leave a message and I heard nothing back from it. Anyways, I have a new personal trainer, bf and I have an appt. for Tuesday to train together, which is exciting. He's pretty competitive, which I can't decide if it's good or bad, I don't want to end up feeling bad about myself because I'm not doing as good as him, but on the other hand I always do better with a little competition. We'll see how it goes and if it doesn't work I'll just tell him I wanna train seperately and I'm pretty sure he'll understand. So far so good for today, but I didn't get up till 1 and it's only 4 now. I had something that I made earlier this week for "breakfast" that I'd been a little afraid to try (I have good cooking moments and bad ones, so I'm always a little scared haha), but it was delicioussss. And healthy, even better. We're probably going to Denny's for supper though, so I'll just have to account for that I guess. I guess that's it for my update, I hope everyone's doing fantastic!! |
My girls are ok. DD1 was outside today playing she just has to take it easy and i think volleyball during gym is out of the question. DD2 was never hurt they were just threatning to but the teaches has resolved it. I hav another dd (2 1/2) and a DS (4) so I have quite a few more years of this. I wish it would stop raining and dry up so i can get outside for a walk. I don't want to get splashed (i have to walk on the shoulder of the road) so until there is nice weather I am stuck inside.

Sounds like everyone is doing great! I have been doing OK with eating. Not as good as I have in previous weeks though. And as far as exercise I have been slacking. I have 2 boys that play baseball and we have had a game everyday! I love it though! Tomorrow AM I am going to the gym. I walked a few miles outside this past week and tried a Crunch dance dvd. I am too waiting for nice weather. It has been cold, damp and rainy. We had great weather the week of the 16th or so. It was a tease! I just had popcorn made on top of the stove. I had to add some butter to it though(that was naughty). Today I did eat kinda bad. I had coffee for Breakfast, Subway -sweet onion chicken teriaky, and popcorn for dinner. I had almonds at the Baseball game and a Vitamin water. The only veggies I had today were the lettuce, tomotoes and banana peppers on the sub. No fruit either. BAD! Tomorrow I will plan better and I need to shop for the week. It is closer to bathing suit season. This week it will be MAY! Yikes! I like the Song on the IPOD thing that we are doing. Do we just give a list of our songs. I need to put some more in mine. I find myself skipping some because they are too slow while I am on the treadmill. Well, I will probably be on later tonight. I would like to check in every day to get to know everyone. Keep up the great work blue team! Lisa |

today one was one those wow days for lifting . It felt great and my arms are shaky now lol. short but sweet today i gotta go get in the shower and get some house work done.

LilacAngel Congrats on the 4 lb weight loss! That is totally tubular! Chellez Good Luck o the Weight Watcher's. I learned alot from them and even though I am counting calories now, I did learn how to eat clean with them. I bought the WW Scale, and I really haven't been happy with it, so maybe shop around a bit before deciding... That was you that was thinking of buying it right? If not I apologize, LOL! I get y'all confused sometimes... Wrongway 3 liters of water?!?! WOW! I am so working on that, but I do hate being in the bathroom all day too! LOL! I hate when I am working out and have to go pee. I am doing good to get 60 oz's down a day. ;) Canadian mom I'm sorry your children are having to deal with bullies. We went through that as well with my son. it was pretty bad in Elelmentary, and the dang school officials were really NO help at all. it seems to be working itself out now in Jr.High. I gained 1 pound, and I know exactly why. I don't have the TOM excuse, I gained because I didn't stick with my calories program. Baby is right, it's only the first week, and we have 11 more to go. Its a beautiful 77 here today and I woke up late! I'm about to go make breakfast after I get done here. So yesterday was wierd considering I didn't plan my meals like usual. I didn't go over my points but I was expecting company and they never came. So I ended up eatting different stuff to fill in my points which I feared would catch up with me. Guess it didn't... scale still read 193 this morning (Hey! I was scared... I had to look! :p ) My Official Weigh In Day is only 2 days away, so I need to go to Farm Fresh and pickup some healthy produce (since wal mart's looked really bad last night.) So here's my plan for today:
:lol: You're probably thinking... a velvet aisle runner? I told Daniel that I want my aisle runner to look like the red carpet they use in Hollywood when I come down the aisle! :devil: I'm silly... I know! I dont have weights from these people (Just in case you forgot to weigh in!):

I just weighed in...wasn't good. For some reason my scale didn't work yesterday morning. It may have been very slightly better then- we had chinese for dinner last night.
I know this is totally psychological, but I am so glad tomorrow is Monday and practically May 1st. :p I need a fresh start like that. We have salmon planned for dinner today and no dessert- easing back into healthy! :) |

alright..... keeping in mind that monday am's are my normal WI's... Im going to spill my good news alright....... I am down to 274... so I am at LEAST down ONE LB from my stated start weight!! yeah me!! it feels AMAZING to stick with something instead of throwing my chips in and wasting all my hardwork...... i am LOVING working out i am LOVING my food choices and i am LOVING myself...so tomorrow morning is it where I will be proudly announcing my loss :)
enjoy the beautiful day ladies and here we go into week two!!! keep on truckin p.s...... Im excited about being 1 lb down from start but keep in mind my slip up and my actual 7 lb loss ive got goin on!!! I set a goal and kept my eye on the prize.... now that Im back on track.... watch out red team... big mama is gainin speed and losin weight and NOBODY's gonna get in my way.... not even myself!!! |
