Diva, I'm right there with you on the being stuck part...been sitting right around my current weight for more than a month! It's time for both of us to change things up and get those scales moving downward again!!! :woohoo:

I get like that as well. Food just doesn't feel right in your body and you just want to lie down instead of eat.


Anyway, last night, I went on a cookie binge :( . I was worried to weigh in this morning, but was relieved to find out I lost 2 pounds this week. Time for a happy dance...:carrot:

Okay, I did the 2 mile walk up and down hills to get my Avon kit. OMG! I thought I was gonna die! My hat goes off to all you walker and runners! My legs were burning like crazy and I had to take a couple lil' mini breaks, but I did it. I thought I was something else because of the Step aerobics I do....Shoooooot...Whateve.....I ain't got chit on y'all walkers/Runners! LOL! I have decided I am going to do this 2 mile walk 5 to 6 days a week in addition to the stuff I am already doing, until it darn well gets easy, because I was truly pathetic. :dizzy: But I do feel good for doing it and my endurance has built up, and NO asthma attack! YAY!!!!!

Congrats on getting those 2 miles in Diva! I found out the hard way that walking/running was hard. Except when I did it I was ignoring my body's pain signals and I ended up about 7 miles from my house!

My allergies are turning more into a cold I think but I'm not sure. I didn't go to class tonight but Daniel has gone out to a friend's house and I have a hard time sleeping if I know he's gone for some reason.

I'll be off and on the rest of the evening if anyone needs me! ;)

Hey everyone! Man am I tired tonight!! I stayed up too late last night so my 6:00 workout was out of the question, lol. But I did 40 minutes on the treadmill after lunch - some running, but it's been so long that I( could never do more than 4 minutes at time. But I got a great cardio workout in. And tonight at soccer I walked 6 laps which I think is 1.5 miles. Tomorrow I need to get up and do something early since we have my preschoolers little tumbling class at 9:15 and I am watching a friend's dd for a couple hours right afterwards.
Let's all push hard for the second half of the week!!

:rain: morning ladies! But a new morning none the less!

It's over cast and going to rain today. Hopefully it will calm down all of this pollen in the air! My allergies/cold is still hanging on for dear life. I think the sneezing phase has past and now I'm into the drippy nose swollen throat phase. I wish I still had that link to that frog picture. I swear my throat looks like that today. :lol:

So I got a pedometer on Tuesday and I tracked my steps yesterday. I have no Earthly idea how people get 10,000 steps a day. I only got about 3,000. I sit at a desk for my job but I was up and down the stairs to the bathroom all day (evidently when you're sick your body wants you to be dehydrated as well) so I was actually walking more than usual. Granted I didn't goto school last night so I'm sure I would have gained another 1000 or so there. But that would still only put me around 4 to 5 thousand. Where's that other 5 coming from? Not exercise alone... theres no way :snooty:

I did make an extra trip to the fridge last night and went 1 point over my points yesterday. i have 35 to fall back on so I'm still ok. I hate how being sick makes me feel like a glutton. :(

I really need to go to the store. I didn't have anything to fix for breakfast so i forced myself to eat cereal. I'm not a big cereal fan... I just keep it wround just in case. Food Lion still has their Smart Ones on sale til the 8th. I'll probably go stock up on those tonight or tomorrow.

Just out of curiousity.... has anyone seen babygrant or jennylou lately? Have my cheerleaders gone MIA?

I noticed that we have the same people chatting all the time and there's a lot of people on the team but aren't chatting.... Don't be afraid! We don't bite! i just want to make sure everything is ok with these people, even if its just a once a week check in. You have to come to this section of the boards to weigh in, so why not drop us a line? :D

Well I'm going to go attempt to cough up a lung and pass out at my desk before my boss gets here :devil: Have a good day ladies!

Good morning ladies! Well yesterday was no better then the day before but I am not even going into it today. I just want to move on and forget the past 2 days. I don't know what happened I must of gone crazy thinking I could eat like I was. I have had a few pep talks with myself and read and re-read all your advice and today is a fresh new day and I think I may take your advice Chellez and move weigh-in to Sunday or even Monday morning this week. I went out yesterday and bought some new sun dresses and a few shirts for our trip to Cali. in July and new clothes always motivate me to get down to business. I just realize that I sabotage myself everytime I start getting on a roll and I refuse to do it anymore. Okay moving on....my son's team won their game last night and we froze our butts off watching it. I tell you Tuesday it was 85 in my house and I was sweltering, and yesterday I was bundled in a sweatshirt, make that 2 sweatshirts and 2 blankets wrapped around me. I was so glad when my husband showed up with some hot coco. They won though so it made it all worth it to see how pumped they were. This weekend is my 6th wedding anniversary and we are going out for an all day date Saturday. I think if the weather stays nice we are going to hit the zoo and then dinner and a movie in the evening. I love going to the zoo with the kids but it is so much fun also with just Kev and I. We are both really looking forward to a day out with just the two of us. My youngest is home from school today sick so I am hoping he gets better before the weekend hits. He has some sort of stomach thing going on along with awful allergies....poor baby! Today is cardio along with full body strength training and more laundry to do. I swear it is never done is it?

Chellez.....hang in there! Hopefully you'll be feeling better in a few days.

Diva.....I am a walker and have been for years now and my husband always complains when he's with me that I walk to dam fast! I think it's just my pace though after all these years so stick with it and it just becomes natural. My walks are my sanity in this crazy life of mine! Good job on getting it done! Your the workout queen of this challange I think!

Megan.....I am joining you and Diva if you don't mind. My weight has been the same for months now also. I bounce between the same few pounds weekly. It is time to step it up and get it done with. We can so do this!

Jelynn......I am pushing with you! I have to make the second half extra good because I blew the first half!

veggielady....Congrats on the 2lb loss! That is fantastic! Keep up the good work!

Well I am off to throw in some laundry ladies. Let's all have a fantastic Thursday and HOORAY Friday is right around the corner!

Well, I'm happy to report that the 177 I've been stuck at has turned into a 176.5, woohoo! Now to make sure I don't blow that little loss and keep the scale moving in the right direction. Tina and Diva, it can be done!!! Hah!

morning all...

hope today finds you all well and OP. i'm a little down because my 0.4 up for TOM has turned into a full blown 4lbs up... (i hate TOM) i know its mostly water retention and such.. did the hot lemon water too and i'm still up that much... sheesh. anyway... i'm still pluggin away and i refuse to give up. i have a full 6 1/2 days off work so i will be around lots. i plan on doing my turbo jam dvd many many many times this week.. lol i also just bought yoga booty ballet... sounds silly but looks fun... whatever gets me moving is good to go. i'll have to look around for the biggest loser dvd you guys are talking about.. if i can find it i'll give that a try too. anyway have a great day all...

I am late posting today my DD1 had a play today called Barn Dance. DH has the day off so he was able to go DD was soooooooooo happy (he usually has to miss these things). I still got a worout in I did my free weights:wl: (I upped my weight this morning) :exercise: floor exercises and:tread: 30 mins of cardio. I know I only did half my cardio bit at least it is better then nothing.

I am back to ticker weight this morning so I think my 2 pound gain was TOM. I have also been completly and utterlty on plan for the whole week.:broc:

:balloons: WoooHoooo Tina to your son's team winning! I hope you other baby feels better son too, and congratz and happy anniversary to you & Hubby tis weekend. I hope you have an awesome time. Don't sweat the past couple of days. I totally don't get this emotional eating thing, I had a bad night last night with it. My son's choc-chip cookies called out to me, and I gave in. Here I thought I only gave in when I feel down, but last night I was on cloud 9 and excited about my new Avon adventure, and there I was screwing up a perfectly good day. I had a food hangover this morning, UGH! But, yanno, it's a new day. We are only human and we are gonna mess up from time to time... What's important is we get right back up when we fall and get back on track. I'll say a lil' prayer for you. :hug:

Today's plan is to read up and get my Avon business in order and start handing out magazines until I can get it set up online in a couple of weeks. Walk 2 miles, do my cardio and some lifting, help son finish up his report that's due soon, and stay on tract with eating. I'm gonna try to keep it lite today, since I messed up last night....

Where did you all find the cheerleader with blue pom-poms! I only see the one with red ones! Just wondering....I don't want to be cheering on the wrong team although I do wish us all well, but my number 1 allegiance is BLUE!!!!

In all seriousness... i'm waiting for some more vacation spots on the exercise one. Hopefully I can get that posted tomorrow afternoon.

The water one I still can't think of something that's managable to fill... I'll get on that today after I finish with this crappy file. :mad:

Stayed on plan for lunch today and had a grilled chicken caesar salad with a fruit and yogurt parfait for the finisher. :hungry:

Oh no... sneezing again... :sp: I got the achey joints now like an old lady... is it Friday night yet? bbl!

Tina, Someone posted the cheerleader a while back in here and I saved it, uploaded it to photobucket and then added it to my signature line. :)

Afternoon ladies :)

I am just now getting my day started... uughhh...... TOM is really taking a toll on me for some reason....its day two and the cramps are so bad its making me sick almost..... which normally I never get crampy.... either way... this month they suck!

so im struggling with that but keeping on track!!

hdsgrl: I am in Olathe!!! nice to run into another KCian..ite.... lol i dont know :)

well I have to get get myself ready for my 1st graders musical.... should be a good one they've been working all year and she wont give me a hint at all on what to expect :) so sneaky that one

so have a wonderful day ladies and it sounds like a lot of you are climbing over the roadblocks you've had for a while and are full steam ahead keep it up!!!

Hey Chellez if you need some new cheerleaders I would be more than happy to help out my girls and stuff myself into the uniform!!!! although im sure I'd appear to be a much better mascot :) :broc: :carrot: :cb:
