Good morning goldies,
It's a rainy monday morning today. We had a busy weekend. I managed to clean outdoor kitchen, 1 bedroom and bath. Next weekend we plan on trying to finish. We have 2 more bedrooms, kitchen and living room.
While I was there cleaning ds called and said another crew was coming to meet him and he wanted his guitar. His girlfriend went to the house and got it for them to bring. He told me one of the guys in the hotel plays and sings real good. He wants to play with him. I glad he has those guys to hang around with after work. Instead of eating out all the time they cook on the tailgate of their truck in the hotel parking lot. They are all from Louisiana. Good ole Cajun food. Lol
Food plan. . We will be camping every weekend now until February. This weekend one of the hunters cook and they sent me a plate. I managed to not eat the rice and potato salad. That was good but........that night I drank a couple beers and ate a few chips with dh. We will see what happens tomorrow morning when I weigh in. I told dh that I don't expect to lose anymore weigh until after the hunting season. That I would be glad to just maintain. I had all kinds of cravings this weekend. I think it was in my mind that I could eat all kinds of things because I was camping. Last winter I ate so much trash. Didn't control it at all. I didn't start my diet until february. It's a whole new thing for me to diet and camp. I'm struggling to get in the right frame of mind. Enjoy camping and not go overboard with food and a little (drink) lol. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Donna~ awesome. You are doing such an awesome job. Keep it up!!!!!

Gayle~ I'm glad you had a good weekend at work! Do you work most weekends?

Karen31~ we often get together with my sister and brother in law. We have lots of friends but I guess you could say they are our best friends. My dh thinks the world of brother in law as they call each other. We are always together.

Dee~ thanks for the tip. I will remember that. My doctor called something in. It's lidocaine malox and benydryl all mixed together and gargle with.

Rosy~ our hunting season didn't start here for deer yet. I think the bow season starts October 1. Do you go to the moose cabin sometimes? I love camping. I don't get left behind unless I want to be left behind. Lol. Wow thanksgiving and Xmas will be here before we know it. I love thsnsgiving. Christmas not so much. Its too busy and expensive. Now that my boys are grown it's different. I loved it when we played Santa. Lol. The recipe sounds like an apple cobbler. Yum. I will try it out on our hunting buddies. That way I can leave it at their camp.

Mary~ hi~ I miss you. Praying for you and your family.

Ginger~. Congrats on the weight loss. You are doing great!!!!!!!!! Sorry to hear your not feeling good. I can relate to the not sleeping part.

All the time I have for now. Hi to all I missed.

Hugs

Default Drum Roll!!!!

Went and bought some new jeans.
They actually have a WAIST BAND with a BUTTON.

Some of those contemporary ones, with the denim faded and whiskering.
The thigh fits.

I feel like I've lost 30 pounds just by putting them on!
(Everything I have is so baggy)

I'll have to take a picture and show you all.

Wondering if I'm too old to wear them. Heck, I don't care if I am.
They feel so good!!

Ginger, thanks for the tea. I am going to look into it.

Dee, if things continue (I'll give it a couple more months) I will see a doctor. Someone else i know has done the bioidentical hormones. I have all my exams, etc., scheduled for early Dec, and was trying to hold out until then. My body feels like it did in the early months of pregnancy (but I know it isn't that). I did read that the fat cells hold estrogen. I am wondering if this is some kind of hormonal flush.

Hello goldies,
Today is a rainy dreary morning. We are supposed to have a cool front come in this afternoon. It's been 7 months since I lost my dad. I always think of him with a smile on my face remembering all the special moments we shared. Last night during my bedtime prayers I broke down. Just came out of nowhere. I guess the grieving is never completely over.

On a happier not today is weigh in and I'm down another 2.5 lbs. I guess my weekend cheating didn't hurt me. I'm so close to being out of the 200's. I can't wait. Maybe in a couple weeks I can wear the next size jeans comfortable. They are a little snug. Guess I'm between sizes.

This weekend I drank 3 diet cokes Saturday and 3 Sunday. I have not drank more that 6 since February. I was having a difficult time with food cravings and instead of water just drank that. Well yesterday my kidney started hurting me. This morning it's still there. I'm trying to flush it out with a lot of water. Hoping I can. I hope it's not a stone. I had one of those in 1995. Don't want to go through that again. Worse than childbirth.

Hello to all. No time for peronals. Laundry is calling.

Hugs

Dee - I'm very sorry to hear all you're going through with your elderly parents. That is so heart breaking. My parents both died young so I never went through anything like that, but that doesn't mean I don't wish I had had them longer.

You're cute K3, doing a Bobbi that is. It really means I love and care for you all but no time to chat. BTW Karen, I made the lemon pudding your way with ff milk soured with lemon juice, splenda and was surprised it was still very delicious. I'm making it again today and incorporating some raspberries in it. We have been eating it topped with fresh raspberries but the seeds don't always agree with me. I think I'll heat them, run thru a sieve and use the raspberry juice as part of the liquid in the lemon pudding.
I need to get out and pick them right now before the darn birds get them.
Welcome Kitty!
Donna...congrats on the lower weight.
Donna my cat friend, with the wacky sense of humor and concern for selling our house, we're working on a bid right now. We came down again, the townhouse came down again. Today we'll maybe get an offer. Cross your fingers and your legs

Bobbi, I'm adding this to Donna's crossed legs. Together, that ought to get the house sold! lol

Before get to personals I just gotta vent off a little stress here. It's been a stressfull day- but now it's all settled (I Think?!) I thought we were suppose to get our SS check on the 18th of each month. We got the 1st one the 18th and the second on the 15th,. So when I woke up and checked to make sure the check was there before we left for Wal-mart I was shocked to find Our balance was $1.17!!! An auto check payment had gone out on day I thought paycheck coming in. All day, every 45 min I'd check our account- not there. Under $20 in savings- Just 2 meals left in house ( also at lunch found son had eaten all our bread & lunch meat in middle of night-then lied he didn't) But more importent no water or toilet paper Then when I asked DH to call SS he says we can't they said it's all automatic- to call our bank. The bank says-nope hasn't come in and won't today. So I ask DH to call SS and find out what's up. DH throws a hissy-then I'm like " are you telling me that with less than $25 to our name you won't try? Do you believe that if we don't ever get out check again we have no recourse- what about the office where you signed uP?" ( and now I'm mad at me for raising my voice) Oh they are closed he says-I'm like "Not at 3PM they aren't. So he finally calls and finds out out check comes in the 3rd wed. of every month. So Hopefully I'll be at wallyworld early in the morning. The only thing we have left in house is some sausage- I'll keep in calorie count-but not exactly healthy for me. Day with 1 water bottle isn't either, Our well water is too acidic for me-caused me some major health issues.
yesterdays 100 Day Challenge reading about counting my rainbows on days just like today has really helped me. I do have those emergency Hershy's kisses stashed away- but haven't gone near them. I'm not sure I could stop at just 3 today-so I'm counting Rainbow's instead. I found a half roll of TP in room I'm clearing out, I finally see (from the Doctors show) what a Brown Recluse spider actually looks like-size and all) ( I've been trying online forever since DD was bit at our house years ago), Penny kissed me all over trying to cheer me up- been extra loving all day, DD posted new pic of grandson on facebook and low and behold DH just walked in with 2 bottles water he found out in the car, So things are looking up. Personals on thierway.
