Thank you, Sum!

Down .2 again this morning! So happy to be free from the plateau.

Got out and walked around the lake before the hottest part of the day, still very hot and humid. Today is going to be bad...but what can I expect in FL in the summer. lol The rest of my walking will be indoors today.

I am going to test having a day off each week, Sundays. I have been pushing my body hard with walking and jogging 8 to 15 miles per day since June 4th, then I added weight training this month. It will be hard for me to slow down but I feel it will be best for my body.

Morning

Where is everybody? First we were so busy that I could not keep up and now we are super slow Ladies do not give up!!!!

Woke up to 65F weather; BLISS! Yesterday we got in high 80's but it felt cool after 100F days. I was so happy to have all windows and doors open. It lifted my mood. Amazing how weather can affect us. I don't mind winter because one can always add layers to stay warm but this extreme heat; there is nothing one can do except stay indoors. I was super depressed and my scale shows it.

I ate OP all day, woot! Scale vent down by 0.2 lbs; this was my 3rd day of scale not going up. Need to celebrate that.

Plan for today

Meals
1- Skip, not hungry
S- Gluten free crackers with cheese (150)
3- Spinach salad with salmon (350)
S- Watermelon (50)
5- Meatballs, mashed potatoes and veggie medley (600)
S- Edy's outshine fruitbar, popcorn (150)

Exercise
Walk 4.7 miles
Weights 45 min

Not given up. Still posting my weigh in's on Love's daily thread and the weekly memorial to labor day weigh in post. 213.2 today would of been less but I was bad at the drive in but could have been worse. Today I plan to be good. I do a quick read but I have been too busy to post with getting my Mom's house in order and working and being the single parent while my husband is in China. Hope all is well.

Thank you, Zumba! I am ready to get back going tomorrow but really enjoying the down time today.

I had a double take this morning when I read the scale, 147.4!!

I promised my son Pizza Hut when I hit 147 point something. He has been craving it for days. I debated about doing it today with it being a rest day. I went ahead anyway. I would have to eat several pizzas myself to cause much harm...AND that is definitely something I do not plan to do. I did order enough so we could have pizza for lunch again tomorrow though. I am going to have a lot of water weight gain for the next few days.

One must be really careful with GF stuff...a lot of it is made out of corn (and other junk) = high calories/high carbs. These particular ones are rice crackers and an average on carbs. I have a gluten intolerance, hence the GF lifestyle.

I am amazed how bad some of this GF stuff is...ugh.

SUm I knew a girl that gained weight after she started eating gluten free (she has celiac disease) because she was buying all these gluten free snacks and going overboard on them.

CARMA!!!! Nice to see you!! I hope all goes well with mom's estate!

Zumba Yup GF does not equal healthy. In many cases they add so much junk to try to make their stuff palatable. I only eat GF stuff every once in awhile. It is a treat. I am not surprised at all that she gained weight.

Hi everyone,
I went to the beach yesterday to try and forget my troubles with a good friend. We did a lot of people watching. It really amazes me how people wear the totally wrong bikini/bathing suit for their body. Cover up people!! It is good to have confidence but why wear something that is totally wrong for you....just a pet peeve of mine, i'm always out to redress someone ...LOL

I had another little swoosh today so I'm pretty excited. AF arrived last night, I am also making a point to drink more lemon water..AND I did low carb all weekend. I pray that it continues.

Im off to teach a toning class and then I am going grocery shopping....trying to plan healthy meals for the rest of the week. It is cloudy out but atleast the temperature has dropped....

Checking in before catching up, fighting back from a couple off days, really didn't feel so bad, but erased the loss I was seeing during the week, back at it today.

Hope everyone's doing well!

Best to all

Entering week 3 of my 12 week program, didn't think I was going to make it, but managed to catch up, so proud of that.

Congrats Aspen, you've been working so hard to get there.

Zumba/Sum- good job getting back OP, I know all to well how hard that can be!

Carma- you're inspiring, keeping at it with everything you have going on! Great job

About 2 1/2 weeks to go, holy cow!!

I'm trying to focus on fitness, not so much what the scale says, but I did make a "scale" goal so still hoping to make that, it's still possible.

Best to all
