Jennifer I hope your anniversary was a wonderful one!! I thought about you last night when I grilled our steaks -- I had 6 oz filet mignon, what did you have?

Zumba NICE DROP!! No more 150's for you

Nat Happy belated birthday to your DD! How old is she?

Plainsgirl That reminds me; I need to take my bike in for a tune up. I started biking last fall and really enjoyed it. It is still a tad bit too cold. My joints hurt if they catch a chill, esp my wrists, so I will wait a bit more to start biking.

4th day for me at 161's...boo! Well this is a marathon not a sprint, and I had a nice drop last week

Yesterday I was sooo busy that I only had a granola bar for lunch. But I was ravished by dinner.

I walked 5 miles but skipped the gym. My body felt "tired". I have done something everyday and some days even double workouts. I think I will lift weight Mo, Wed, Fri and take a two day break on weekends.

Plan for today
Weight 45 min
Possible walk, depending how late/tired I am.
Bfast coffee w/cream
Lunch
TBD or/
Slimfast
Nature Valley granola bar
Dinner
Big Mac in a bowl
Snacks
Cashews
Semi sweet chocolate chips
Greek yogurt

I am taking a back up lunch with me today. I don't want to prepare anything that goes bad, therefore the slimfast and granola. -- We get volunteer lunch at the Finnish center but lately it has been all pasta and I am allergic to gluten

Have a happy and healthy day ladies!!

To everyone else...have a fabulous Monday.... Im off to take ds to school and get ready for work... my "favorite" shift.... 10:30-7pm..NOT! lol

Hi, everyone. I do plan to get back to personals, but can't quite yet. But I'm so glad to see people motivated and working towards their goals; it's motivating to me!

I totally derailed over the last few days. I am putting my head back into the game.

Still have quite a ways to go to reach my May Day goal, but I'm committed to chipping away at it!

Happy Monday!

Som: Thanks, my anniversary was fantastic. Nicest weekend we've had, so we took major advantage. I had a strip steak and DH had a porterhouse. They were melt-in-your-mouth good! We also grilled asparagus, which was fantastic.

Heidi: I'm sure you'll jump right back! It's a slow, slow process.

Mboo: congrats on the loss! You've got this challenge!

Zumba: Nice loss! You are doing great on Isa gen ix!

Plains girl: 7 pm is late to get off! I hate when I work evenings!

I was at 178.8 today, which is first time I've been below 179._ is a long time! I hope it keeps going down! Maybe I can hit my May Day goal!

Almost five lbs loss last week on the Ida gen ix! Funny though indont feel any lighter...or look it but I have a ways to go....******** is forcing me to think less about food.....obsess less.....if I didn't have to cook for the kids I would think about it even less......it's scared not having food to turn to anymore....now I'm just relying on a shake...not the same! But I smile when I get on the scale.....and I know I'll be stronger when I feel good in my skin again....

Still in pain with my hip...strangest thing! Got thru Zumba but doing anything else was out of the question...hope I feel better tomorrow........I really want to start working with my kettle bells...

Scale finally moved.
160.4 It will be sooo nice to get out of these horrid 160's! Never again!!

My profile photo is around 130 pounds and I thought I was "fat" at the time. Now once I start flirting with 150 I feel kinda skinny. Isn't it amazing how our perspective changes? Is it acceptance or just plain defeat?

Plan for today
Allotted calories 1115 + snacks. Aiming for 1300-1500 cal.
Exercise; Walk 5 miles

CW 160.4

Zumba What is Ida gen ix? It is working for you!! I hope your hip is feeling better today. Nothing suck more than injury when one is just about to get into the groove.

mboo I hope this week is better for you!! There are still plenty of weeks left on this challenge to meet your goal.

Plainsgirl I hope you survived your shift okay? What do you do? That is one hard shift; no time in the morning, or no time at night.

Jennifer Woot on your 178._!! Getting closer to your goal!

newleaf123 This is a new week; back on that saddle!

Ahhh...get a weekday off and it looks like its getting ready to rain buckets. So much for the bike/run I was gonna do. Thank goodness for the Y! lol I don't think I even have time for just a run...therefore I am on here...gleaning inspiration

Jenn- I work at a small rural hospital in Patient Registration/Admitting. Our department is open from 6am-10:30pm....7 ladies that have to "swing" our way thru the week... I never have the same shift twice in a row (well..not very often anyway...). I work Sat morning so that is why im off today...

Zumba- Great job on the 5 lb loss. And I say...any way you can get it-take it! If it helps YOU to get to where you need to be....that's all that matters. I feel the same way about sometimes not even caring about the whole fixing meals thing. If I didn't have my almost 13 yr old son at home I swear But in the same sense...that Is what keeps me eating REAL meals instead of just grazing all day.

Sum-WAY TO GO ON GETTING BACK DOWN!! I totally understand about feeling a bit "sad" about feeling so different about the #'s on the scale on the way BACK down. Im still trying not to beat myself up for getting 20 pounds up from my lowest ever in my adult life. This exact time 2 years ago I was at 127-129. Yesterday morning I weighed in at 148.2.
It took me soooo long to lose my 75 lbs...I don't know if I have it in me to invest that much time again. I want it off NOW!!! LOL We WILL get there. What other choice do we have???....

The wind is picking up here so I guess im gonna get off here and get to the Y and get this day started. Meeting up with a friend I haven't seenM...ugh. Maybe I could change that so I don't feel like im spinning my wheels here...

Have a great day ladies!!

Hi, everyone. Chugging along here. 158.8 today.

zumba I can't fathom doing what you are doing, you are a powerhouse! I like to chew and chomp too much...

sum don't even let the word defeat cross your mind. Yeah, it's depressing. But what can you do? You are in such a great groove right now. Don't entertain mind games.

plainsGirl hope you ha a great workout!

To everyone, hi and have a great day! Spring is in the air...

My 'official' check in day seems to have migrated from Monday to Tuesday.

Here is my official weight/bf%/check-in:

1. Continue: Phase III of NRoL Supercharged (weights 3x week) Recuperative Hiatus. Back in the gym 15Apr

2. Continue: Eat on Plan - ~1600 calories, 155g protein, 155g carb, 40g fat Success
2a. Add 150 calories each week: Due to 2 week exercise restrictions by the time I start it it will be 29Apr... I am going to shelve this goal until the next challenge.

3. Continue: Drop body fat below 21% while maintaining lean mass of 117-118lb. Scale weight doesn't matter - it all depends on how the hips/belly fare under the tape measure. Lean mass @ 118.5, scale @ 150.2, BF% down a smidge

4. Add: 30 minute spin bike sessions 2x week. Postponed until 15Apr start.

18Mar SW: 151.8 SBF:22.4%
25Mar 151.0 BF:21.6%
02Apr 156.2 Post surgery swelling.
09Apr 150.2 BF: 21.1%
15Apr
22Apr
29Apr
01May:

So - I did a bunch of yardwork yesterday - and sunburned my face. *Sigh* Another reason to thank my Mom for giving me her pale skin and auburn hair. Thanks Mom!

Zumba:Way to go on the 4 lbs - boo on the hip pain! Don't be like me- I don't know when to rest and will just hurt myself more(see yardwork above)! Kettlebells are the one thing I haven't really gotten into - yet! I have a few, just that they are so $$ and I don't know what to do with them except for KB swings!

Sum Funny how the higher scale numbers become our 'new normal'. A good friend of mine - same age, height and basic build as me - said on Saturday that she was a size 5/7 when she got married - now she'd be thrilled just to be a size 10. Or at least not a size 14. I wonder if we were unrealistic when we were younger or are unrealistic now? Or *gulp* both??

Plainsgirl No way I could do those shifts - that would exhaust me emotionally - not to mention physically!! I live a very structured and ordered life. Example: my pantry is alphabetized...by categories...

Jennifer Way to go on the loss! You'll be in the 160s before you know it and hardly remember the struggle at 179! Glad you had a great weekend for the anniversary. It's finally warming up here a bit. Just glad I don't live in Denver today!!

mboo You can make your goal - still plenty of time left! Just keep on moving forward!

Nat You reminded me about Mad Men - I totally forgot about it! Good thing my DVR was still set from the last season to record it! I can't imagine being a woman back then...my poor Mom!

Heidi Meh, derailing hapens. You recognized it and stopped it - great job! How goes the yoga - is it filling the niche?
