I was 163 this morning!!! Yeah! The funny thing is I probably fudged on my diet more this week than I have in a while! I also have been slack on keeping track of my calorie intake! Oh well....I am down a couple of pounds from last week so I am happy!

I can not wait till I will be posting numbers in the 150's! I know it is coming!;)

I ate a lot more this week (a lot more off plan foods, which I will have to change next week), but I moved more too. I felt good this week - a bit guilty for the off plan foods, but not guilty for the extra calories. I know the weekend will have off plan foods in it, but next week I will have to keep the higher calories but cut the off plan foods. I gave myself a little break this week and I am ok with it.

I am focusing on exercising and eating on plan. I am being flexible with my calorie range. I probably ate between 1200-1600 on any given day this week. I am just going to put one foot in front of the other and really pay attention to how I feel rather than what the scale shows in terms of how I gauge my progress.

Day two- feeling hungry, but so happy to be starting goals.

My first goal is to get out of "overweight" BMI which will be 135.

treadmiler - 2 lbs is nothing! You are doing great. Over the long haul, there will be lots of little regains due to holidays, vacations, health issues, hormones, you name it. The key is getting back on the wagon afterwards. You'll be fine!

I knew I was in trouble when the Thursday night dinner turned out to be lasagna and garlic bread! The weekend was totally worth it though.

I spent a whole day in the 220's. At least I know that if I can do it once, I can do it again...

Hello! Today marks my first weigh in. I started the 6 Week Body Makeover one week ago. I did this plan years ago and had great success - did it for longer than 6 weeks and will again! Anyway, first week was awesome!

7/4 - 237 lbs
7/11 - 227 lbs!
I know it's mostly water but it's still motivating. One week down, only 1000 weeks left! Hee!

This is day 9 for me using medifast, but I have been working out for a few weeks now. I think joining this weekly weigh in will help keep me on track

Goals for this week : Drink 100 OZ water each day; swim 30 mins M-F; walk 4 miles on Sat; swim 45 minutes on Sunday.

Going out of town to visit family on Friday so keeping these goals in mind and the fact that I need to check in next week will help me stay accountable.

Started Michael Thurman 7/4 at 237 lbs.

Not quite as significant as week 1. But.... I only exercised twice AND I wanted to see the effect one off plan meal per week would have. I had tomato and green pepper pizza and red wine for a True Blood date with hubby on Sunday! Guess without significant exercise to offset it, one meal can have a profound effect on loss. At this weight, I should be losing 5 lbs a week in the beginning!

Slow and steady screeched to a halt. I've been at 184 ever since. Bounced up a pound for a while, then back to 184. Then up a pound, then back to 184. Going on 40 days now. The Flood with Noah and the Ark ended after 40 days, maybe this stuckage will too!!

Grrr! Wish the darn scale would drop, but that would require me to be diligent about sticking to lower carb/higher protein and no sugary cheats now, wouldn't it? Can't have that! :devil:

On a brighter note, my exercise has been consistent and my clothing feels looser. That's got to count for something!

3boys - I am not sure that 5lb a week is realistic unless their is a lot of water weight involved.

Guac - You are doing great! Your clothes getting loser show that something positive is happening.

Seagirl - the wooosh fairy really owes you a visit. I think what was said on another thread about training causing your stall may be true.
