Going in the right direction slowly but surely. I've kept to the plan really well this week, but I've also allowed myself one or two treats. I'm really pleased that the "a little of what you fancy" plan is working.

I finally broke by platearu and weighed in at 186 this morning. The lady at MRC was as surprised as me I think. I have 21 lbs to go to reach my goal weight.

I have to weigh myself daily as my weight can vary depending on how much fluid I'm retaining...so I just try to look at the lowest number for each month to try and get an estimate as to how much I weigh. Last time it was 210.5 lbs, so am figuring that to be my start weight.

trukmek, I weigh myself daily too. I'm still breastfeeding, so my weight can vary 3-4lbs in a day depending on whether little man has just nursed or really needs to. What I do is keep note of each low and high number -- if I'm on plan the lows continue getting lower while the highs drop down. Today's high number was my goal weight for the end of February, which tells me I'm going in the right direction. :carrot:

I'm completely shocked as I lost 7# this time. Amazing! Up to just over 22# loss so far. I even weighed 3x to confirm and two matched... one (the first time) was actually lower.

I didn't get to post this on Wednesday. According to my scales this morning I'm down another half a pound, but she's a tricksy critter so we'll hold off and see what next Wednesday has to show.

I can only imagine how difficult it gets when you start getting within reach of goal, Junem (my ticker is only posting a minigoal not the whole shebang sadly so I am not close yet). The good news...I've lost almost all of the fluid I was retaining (like a gallon's worth!) AND I weigh as much today as when I started on here! I can't wait to see what the scale reads in a few more days.
