Xena -- I have pugs and they are not good in the heat, so this time of year I try to walk them really early! I don't know if I could carry 2 back!!
Hubby and I hopped on our bikes for a ride -- 20 more minutes!! (I love it that sometimes they are "extra" minutes I didn't plan for!!) Group total ~ 4163+ 20 = 4183 minutes! |

30 minutes more excercise down for me... would have been more but again someone stopped and told me of something going on this time a drunk driver speeding around town, they had called the police but were concerned for my saftey, sweet but , annoying so I got a ride to my street and headed inside for now... might do something else but for now hunger hit and dinner is waiting to be made.

I just couldn't make it the whole month! I decided to start out simple and danced around the kitchen for about 15 minutes. I got my heart rate up and started sweating and I felt fine. I won't set a goal for now - I want to see how things go first.

Oops. I just had to check to find out the last time I posted my exercise minutes and I can't believe that it was last Sunday! I have been more slack than I thought. So here goes with catching up...
Monday - 40 mins exercise bike, 10 mins walk to school (didn't walk home as it was raining heavily - and I could have melted!) Tuesday - 40 mins treadmill, 20 mins walk to and from school (just got 'drizzled' on) Wednesday - Rest day from equipment. 20 mins walk to/from school and 20 mins laps of oval with kids. Thursday - 40 mins treadmill, 20 mins walk to and from school Friday - 40 mins treadmill, 20 mins walk to/from school, 10 mins laps of oval Saturday - 35 mins of walking and 35 mins on exercise bike That should all add up to 350 mins I think. Personal Goal... 1070 - 350 = 720 mins left of July's goal of 1200 Group Total... 4253 + 350 = 4603 I'm on holidays now, so I should be able to post more regularly for a couple of weeks at least. DH and I just went to the pool and goofed around, so probably didn't burn as many calories as usual, but sometimes you need to play - I really don't know how many calories corkscrew swimming burns up, but it sure is fun.

Well, how is this for 'more regular'. I can post today's exercise already, because I can't see me doing any more.
Hubby and I went for a very brisk walk for an hour and a half. The original plan was to go for an hour, but we went a little far out, and by the time we got lost on the way back, it was more than we bargained for. There were a few hills, which made for a good workout overall. Glad everyone is doing so well! LOL Heather thanks for reminding me about a "slow" day being 39 minutes of exercise! :)
Yesterday I felt it was slow too but it really wasn't... I planned to go to the pool yesterday evening but it was SO hot at the festival and I was gone a total of 6 hours so felt I didn't get in much exercise... just 26 minutes of aerobic steps. BUT I decided to count another hour of the 6 as exercise because I was out running around, handing out balloons to kids and water to people, etc... certainly not just sitting around most of that time! It doesn't seem "unfair" to count a sixth of the time as exercise. :) Soooooo... I got 26 minutes plus 60 minutes or 86 minutes for yesterday. Monthly total is 757 2000 goal - 757 = 1243 to go Group total = 4773 + 86 = 4859 |

I've walked the dogs today and don't know what else I'll do, as we are going to a baseball game today -- may get some walking in yet! But I'll post this for now and see.. Group total ~ 4859 + 15 = 4874 minutes |
