Hi,
After posting my 35 minutes walking Sunday, I did about 30 minutes yardwork, lopping tree limbs and dragging them from the backyard to the front curb. A lot of bending and stretching. Today, (Tuesday night) walked for 40 minutes outside. Am listening to book on tape: The Night Ferry by Michael Robotham. It is good. Once I get into a book, it makes it easier to tune out the voice in my head that is trying to get me to quit. Instead, I tell it 'just a little while longer, I want to know what happens. 10/840 New weight this am 298!:carrot: |

This week has been so hard to get out...well no excuses.
I did 20 minutes on the treadmill and 60 minutes weights and functional training yesterday. Group total: 1,804 + 80 = 1,884 |
I don't want to give up on my goal of working up to 45 min/day by the end of 2008. So starting tomorrow (Sat.) I'm going to go for 15 min/day of intentional exercise (DVDs or outdoor walking, depending on weather). That makes 360 minutes by the end of March.

I found a great beginning workout with dumbbells for my bicep/triceps, and then another routine for my glutes, hamstring, hips (saddlebags too!), & calves. It takes me about 6mins to run through them all! I did this yesterday & today! Plan to do this each morning and night! I need to walk today! all this snow just wants me to curl up with a blanket & book!
