rocki yeah, i kinda know how you feel. everytime i need to plan a trip or something, it seems to take forever & i feel like i don't have time to focus on anything else. but a getaway sounds nice!

ShetlandSheepdogLove welcome to the thread! i wish i had taken the time to care about my health when i was in HS..haha. good luck to you!

-----

so yesterday started off pretty well. had a decent breakfast & did my insanity for the day, but then after lunch it went all downhill. my mom made me korean spicy ricecakes for lunch (my fav!) and she added some dumplings & whatnot into it. i was planning on only eating a little, but i ate so much, & after that i couldn't stop munching throughout the day & i ended up binging on tortilla chips with my black bean & corn salsa. it tasted so good, but i had horrible stomach aches this morning, so i def. won't be doing that again! today was a lot better, but i still feel so bloated x_x

Hi guys! Can I join? I went to uni last year, left, changed courses and am starting again in September too

I'm 21, 5ft 9 and today 139.4 (which is amazing to me as it's taken me FOREVER to get beneath 140lbs) I know what my weight was in May so should I put that down as my start day/weight or what it is now?
I'd love to be down to 130 by September but I don't know if that's realistic. It took me 6 months to lose the 12lbs I have so far!

Just wanted to check in. I hit a HUGE plateau shortly after starting, and am happy to say I have FINALLY broken it!! I started around 278 and as of this morning was 268, and it just seems to be melting off due to increased exercise and stricter calorie counting.
A co-worker recommended Raspberry Ketones, which I should be getting in the mail this week sometime. She's had a lot of luck with it, so I'm hoping it will at the very least give me more energy to exercise. And it was only about $8 so I figure even if it doesn't work it's worth a shot.
Also, drinking green tea before bed, and taking green tea extract 2x a day with lunch and dinner. I'm not sure if any of this is helping so much, but I like where I'm headed and since it's all healthy I'm not going to change it (and the extract is $1, the tea bags the same and I love tea anyways, so not much of a loss there)
BUT yea, wanted to check in like I said, I hope everyone else is doing well too We will all be absolutely STUNNING come September!

Originally I wanted to reach my goal of 119lbs by September when I return to college. But I have rearranged my diet plans, exercise and goals and have made a new goal of 112lbs by December 31st. Go out with a bang! So, come September 10th when I return to college I would like to be 130lbs. (I've updated the document accordingly.) That is a loss of 12lbs between now and September 10th which I think is more doable. I did step on the scales today and it said 140, but I don't record until Fridays so we will see how I do between now and then.

I've no plans to go out at the weekend which means I can stay away from drink and takeaways! Haven't been feeling too good today so I had a bowl of ice cream (BAD) and a litre of water (GOOD). Think the litre of water beats the ice cream.

Plan for the rest of the day is to have dinner and then go for my walk this evening before sitting down and watching the second semi finals of the Euros. Have a good day everyone.

EDIT: Realised I'm back on the 17th which gives me an extra week for this challenge.

Oh poop.

The last few weeks have been so hard for me. PMS, and lots of outings with friends. I stopped working out to focus on school for a bit. And guess what happens. I buy an electronic scale, and weigh 154.2 :'( Oh boy oh boy oh boy.

I'm back up like 6 pounds!!! gah!! Ok well, I'm not going to freak out, I'm just gunna get my *** in gear, and start working out more. I think I am going to edit my goal from 130 to 144, the weight required for normal BMI. So I have 10 pounds to go! yay?

I need to seriously start posting on here again, because as soon as I stopped this is what happens, I go back to drinking pop and eating instant noodles, and drinking + nachos with friends.

Goals for the rest of the summer food wise? NO POP. And I also went back to eating fast food because of work and stuff, but I really don't know why, cuz I always have a HUGE stomach ache after. Today I had Wendy's and my stomach is killing me!! Maybe once It digests I'll be less bloated and will weigh a bit less yes? no? ahaha wishful thinking~ But seriously, fast food's gotta go. The end.

You guys have all been strong, and I am the weak link at the moment. Keep up the good work girls and I'll step it up a notch!

Ah, this morning I woke up and weighed myself as a non-bloated 151.6, still not where I want to be, but I'm glad it's not back where I started. Keep it up everybody

Well done for getting back on track, spiritualflow. Sure we all have those few bad days or weeks but we get back on track! I'm sure you'll reach your goal by the time you go back to school. As with the rest of us

Thanks! Also, I've decided to make a New Year's Eve Challenge after this. Just curious, how many of you guys would join it?

I'm sure you'll give it your best shot! You could always rethink about your goal. I ended up doing that and changed it to a more reasonable 130lbs.

Hi! I'm Kara and I'm only 19. Me and my sister are already doing a back to school challenge/I used to be fat sort of deal already. We basically do nothing but work out and eat super healthy. I've lost 34 pounds since May and I'm trying for another 39 before school which is crazy but we are literally working out all the time. I'm going back to school August 27!

Well, the start was pretty rough, I have no idea why I skyrocketed then got stuck at a plateau...BUT it's starting to come back off. I'm lower than when I started at least. Today was one of my lowest weigh ins ever. I am so close to 265 its exciting.
Returning to work today after an injury, so at least I can start moving again!! Maybe not ready to work out yet, but moving is a start.

Kika007 - Wow! 34 lbs since May is awesome! keep up the good work

TheVikingNinja - lol, moving is definitely a start, I know how that feels. Good job, and keep up the good work! Nice to see that you're breaking through your plateau!

I weighed in this morning at 150.6, so I've lost nearly 4 lbs again in 2 days. Granted, I just came off my period, and when I weighed myself 2 days ago I was SUPER bloated. I'm going to try to get moving again myself... can you believe I still haven't bought my shoes?? This is why I don't work out, because I gave myself a reason not to. I really wont be able to buy shoes till this weekend, but I will definitely force myself to at least play DDR for an hour every day (I am skilled enough to play on the hardest levels, which means I actually do workout, lol) Now that I see my weight is 150.6, and I said I reset my goal to 145, I think I'm going to change it again to 139 for the end of this challenge, good luck everybody!

I am doing pretty well guys

5/15 /12 218 lbs
7/9/12 199 lbs
8/25/12 I hope I can reach 185

Do you guys think I can or is it too lofty of a goal? I originally what to get to 180 but that is really a stretch.
