Down 3.5lbs this week! A little surprising because it's been a crazy week/weekend. We went to the beach with friends and I just tried to portion control. There was pizza, fries, italian ice, dinner out involved though...I just did my best to not eat alot. I woke up sick on Sunday though and just couldnt stop eating at home, lots of bread, soup, rice, etc. Hope everyone is doing well!
Awesome everyone! You are all doing well. Keep it up and if the scale moved up a bit don't get discouraged, it may not even be fat you're seeing in the extra numbers! Try hard and drink LOTS of water.

I haven't been "working out" at all. I've been working with my brother, grouting, sealing, and a lot of cleaning, not the final clean on these houses but my goodness, ceiling fans on a 12 foot ceiling suck, scrubbing grout with scotch bright sucks. So my days are 6-8 hours of cleaning, scrubbing, scraping paint off windows and climbing up and down the ladder. I know exercise is spose to be extra, but I just can't find the energy. Especially when some of the houses have no a/c. I am drinking a TON of water. And I'm already sore when I get home. Even though I had a loss this week should I try to push myself to do more after work? Ugh, if so I need encouragement!

This is a great challenge! I'm in!! It funny b/c me & my bf were just talking about this & he was being my encourager & telling me JUST THINK HOW AWESOME IT IS GOING TO BE WHEN ITS HALLOWEEN THIS YEAR & YOU GET TO WEAR A SEXY COSTUME! (he knows how bad I always wanted to wear something sexy for this holiday) he even told me if I get to my goal by Oct he'll buy me my costume, doesn't matter the price SO I GOTTA DO IT!! hehehe I also have my mothers wedding Oct 1st so this is a great thread for motivation!
Hey buttercup! wow it sounds like youre really working hard, and im kind of jealous!! there are so many times im sitting at my desk for 8hrs a day inside and WISH i were doing something physical!! maybe just add an additional workout 2-3x a week, or just a long walk? it sounds like youre really getting a workout and if youre still losing, i wouldnt worry about the additonal workouts too!
Does packing up an apartment count as exercise? because that's all I've been doing the past two days, lol. Life is just crazy at the moment, but I'm down half a pound from yesterday, so can't complain. It doesn't help that I feel like I need to try to eat what's left in the fridge before we move on Friday.

Buttercup Working like that IS an exercise. Trust me. Movement, cleaning, sweeping, up ladders, down ladders, that is a WORK OUT! Coming home and doing extra is for you. I use to work in maid service (long ago) it was TOUGH! Bending over, pushing a vacume, wiping down items, ladders to get to high shelves, all of that was a real work out. Of course, when I got home I was WAY too tired to even think about any more work. Somedays I would tell myself it's only a 20 minute jog... I can do it! Other days I told myself that I did a lot of work today, as long as I stick to a healthy diet... it can count.
It's up to you if you want to come home and do more work, but all that work, IS a workout!
Packing can also be a bit of a calorie burner. Moving boxes up and down stairs, pulling things out of closets then down into a box. It's not as hefty as say aerobics or a gym, but it does burn more calories than normal things. So you are burning additional calories as well. =)
mehh only a pound down this week but you know what i've been having some issues and i cant really complain i can only go forward and try to make next week better (which should be TOM week so that just adds to the extra work hahaha!)
hey! thanks for reminding me halloween is getting closer and closer. usually it's october 1st and i think...ugh once again i won't be able to do anything cute!!! well 2 years ago i was hannah montana that was fun...hannah montana if she gained 200lbs lol. so this year it would be fun to be like a sailor girl or a cowgirl...so i guess i'll see where my weight loss gets me, i always plan early for my daughters costume but i like to dress up too!!
