I didn't quite make my goal. I know that Halloween in not until Monday, but I have a wedding this weekend with cake and alcohol, so this will probably be my lowest weigh in until then.
I managed to make it to 120-121 and that is the top of my maintenance (118-122) so I am trying to lose a tiny bit more and just manage this comfortably.
I bought a beautiful dress for the wedding and some nude shoes to go with it as a goal for reaching a maintenance range that I like. I attached a picture of me in the dress, isn't it sparkly? No halloween costume but this will have to do.
It looks like TOM arrived so I doubt I'll see anything below 173lbs either. I can't complain, though, since it's 2lbs below my goal. I never got a Halloween costume but I'll try and post a progress picture here.
Glad to see some are still posting here and their weights. I am just working a lot. I did quit exercising for about 3 months, since I am constantly walking and on my feet for 8 hours 5 days a week at work. Now, that I'm more used to it I've started Jillian Michaels 30 day shred again- my thighs kill me at work, but Aleve is saving me from a lot of the pain right now.
I wont be at 185, I may be at 192 or 191 since TOM is visiting right now, plus my everything hurts so I'm probably retaining a bit of water. But, even if I still am at 195 I'm happy! Only 10 pounds away from goal, and I can wear a size 14! Haven't seen that size since I was 15 years old.
Congrats to all of you for sticking it out, and getting goal isn't the main point, but trying is. And as long as we keep trying we'll make it!
Ok, so big surprise here but I'm down to 172lbs today. I'm also sick so that always tends to speed up weight loss.
Buttercup- that's great! I haven't been at my current weight for over 8 years, it's a great feeling, isn't it? Keep up the good work (and good for you for getting back into exercise!) and you'll see 185lbs in no time.
You're catching up to me, running! But being sick is no good, how come you're always sick? =(
Dorian - you look amazing! Really thin and healthy and of course sexay!
I think it's safe to say that I'll get to 168 lbs, which is 5 lbs away from my goal of 163 lbs, but I'm in the 160s so I'm happy! I'll post back again tomorrow or Monday to share some of the pictures from the Halloween party =)

I doubt I'll be catching up anytime soon! TOM is here and I only lose again after I ovulate so it'll probably be a couple of weeks before I lose again.
Oh, and yes, I've been sick ALL THE TIME lately, ugh! I think it's part DD starting school this year and part living in a new country. Whatever it is, I hope it stops soon!
Have fun at the Halloween party, I'm sure you look great!
I originally planned to dress up for my Monster Dash 5k yesterday. The weather ended up being horrendous and I ditched the costume. So no costume for me this year but I still feel great.
I felt so amazing running my Halloween 5k in heavy freezing rain. The event boasted a huge turnout of 1000+ last year. I would guess 200-300 people showed up yesterday to run in these conditions. They needed to change the course due to heavy flooding. Running one way down the boardwalk we got sandblasted like crazy and could barely see. Coming back the wind pushed us and I took in the sight of the violent ocean. I wore my Dad’s huge tacky “Gordon’s Fisherman” yellow rain coat. For me, the ridiculousness of running in these conditions made it even more fun. People actually ran in costumes and carried props. They estimated that the re-routed course ran 2.75-2.9 miles. I finished in 30 min and 25 seconds, which is a damn good time for me in any weather. I’m still feeling the “empowerment high” from doing this race yesterday.
I will be posting my final weight tomorrow coming off a bad week. Once the bowl of Halloween candy appeared in the dining room a week ago, things went downhill. I do fine when junk food is not around, in fact I don't even miss it. When it's in the house I turn into a crazy person. Regardless, the race yesterday re-energized my desire to be fit and healthy. Tomorrow I am back on the wagon.
In any case my final weight will be lower than when I started and I finished the challenge. I didn't dress up but definitely had a memorable Halloween experience
