Good morning!

Another 2 pounds down this week! Whoohoo! Just got to keep going...that's the hard part.
I am babysitting kids today. One 5 year old and one 7 year old. They usually babysit themselves since my son is 5 and they all play together. Anyway, it should be an eventful day...and tiring.
I am worried about this weekend. We are going up to our friends' house in Covington, TN...they are bbqing for the weekend holiday and I know there will be food to eat and calories untracked. Oh well...I'm sure I'll pick myself back up.

Skinny, yay for lost poundage! And that pizza looks/sounds like it would be so yummy. And I have not thought about doing Zumba off of youtube...duh! I will have to find it and try it now! STINKIN' GROUNDHOG!!!

Taylor, that NSV is an awesome one!

Jenny, biking the island sounds like lots of fun! I would do it in a heartbeat if I could. And that is such a cool prize! Let us know how it goes!

Chele, ugh TOM...mine should be coming within the next couple of weeks.

Ferel, I don't think we have a Gold's gym around here, sorry. Sounds like a good deal though.

Mary, did you get your room clean yesterday?

Haley, good luck on your running! If I could ever get back to the gym I would try my hand at it too. And wow, I thought English Bulldogs were expensive here! We would have to pay around $1300-1800 for one around here...still too expensive in my opinion. My hubby wants one because he is a MS State Bulldogs fan but I told him that I am not paying that much for a dog that I will have to look after.

Mittens, YOU CAN DO IT!!

Jenny G - OMG THAT IS SO AWESOME!!! See you're already working on manifesting things for yourself!!!! You have to report back to us and tell us all about it! I'm so intrigued!!! And yay for hotties that want to kiss you (although I am SERIOUSLY boycotting all things with a penis right now.) The bike ride sounds fun, but I'm with you -- haven't been on a bike in YEARS I'd be a little scared.

Chele - Again, we are all on the almost same cycle. And YAY for not turning your car around!!! I know sometimes that takes major will power!

Skinny - LOL @ Fort GH! Sounds like he's an elusive little sucker and I'm sad your star gazer lilies are getting eaten because those are my favorite!

Taylor- that's an AMAZING NSV!!!!! Go you! Were they able to take your old ones in or did you have to buy new ones? Either way that's awesome!!!!

Shauna - we cross posted. Have fun with the terrors today... I mean children! And HIGH FIVE for another 2 lbs down!

-----------------

My scale effing hates me. I am currently blaming it on the crunches I did yesterday because my friend showed up at the gym half way through my work out and she was showing me some stuff a personal trainer showed her... my abs are sore today, but good sore none the less. So maybe it's just water retention? I was 186 yester and 189 today. ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME?!?!?!

I WILL GET OUT OF THE 180S. I WILL GET INTO THE 170S. I WILL GET OUT OF THE 180S. I WILL GET INTO THE 170S!!!!

Today was supposed to be post TOM whoosh too. *pouts*

The good news is that even though the scale is an a$$ I'm not having a fat day and I'm feeling pretty good.

Feral - You can do it, lady!
Especially with the hard workout your cells could be swelling with water
and delaying your "whoosh" a few days.
The bright side being that later on in the week you'll all of a sudden be down like 3 lbs!

JennyG- Holy doodle-pants! Cudo's for you just for considering that! Sounds pretty rad

Taylor - You got this! Keep on truckin

Feral - Today was supposed to be my whoosh too and ummm not soo much! I am lighter but not as light as yesterday - I'm thinking water retention too, as my exercise routine was insane yesterday!! OH the joys of the scale!

AND Feral - I am pretty sure positive thinking is really getting me places, in the past month anyways!!

I have my appointment in an hour...I'll fill ya'll in when I return! I'm pumped!

Happy Hump Day girlies!!!

Sgregg - Nooo..... It was too nice out to stay inside!

Feral - Good mantra!

My hiking shoes came yesterday! They're AWESOME! I can't wait to take them for a spin I'm not too worried about this weekend. Usually the whole family is down at the shore house for the holiday and it's lots of junk eaten. BUT due to the horrendous winter, the roof on the porch of my shore house caved in and it's only just getting finished now. Usually we open up the house in late April and spend most of May down there. Not this year :[ We haven't been able to get in and set anything up while the workers have been putting our new porch on. SO this weekend will consist of lots of cleaning and moving around of furniture.

Hopefully I'll be able to maintain this 176.5 during TOM which is supposed to start today...

Hello ladies

So this morning I bacame a runner... I got on...no expectations... walked the first two minutes then bumped it up to 5.0 (I know this isnt very fast but I'm a newbie) and I just ran and ran and ran... and I didnt stop until 15 more minutes had gone by...my first time on the treadmill and I ran for 15 minutes and boy was I sweaty but I did it and I was grinning from ear to ear...awesomeness... I then did my usual stairmaster for an incredible time and I have never been so sweaty

screw what that stupid devil in the bathroom says... I'm awesome

Shauna- Um can you please send me one? kthanks... but the little sucker is just perfect and shes going to be soo excited

Jenny-I'm joining you on the positive thinking, I cant wait to see how your appointment goes and alsooooo the bike ride sounds fun however I dont think I could spend that many days biking in the wilderness and stuff... especially just with randoms from the gym ( I mean maybe they are your friends) but step out of your comfort zone, you might enjoy it and if you hate it after the first day bike your butt back home haha

Taylor- Yay! also can you please take me fishing... I use to go with my ex but havent been since we broke up...that was when I was 20 lol but I really love it...

Today is going to be freaking awesome.. I'm also going to make a plan for my food and stuff and I might join Mary on the zigzagging... I just have no clue how some people eat 2,000 calories and still lose weight... I eat 1,600 and gain and I work out a lot...

Haley - Holy crap you are awesome! Also, do the zigzagging it so works. I do it so that on days where I have high intensity workouts that are big calorie burners be the days that I eat 1800 calories, unless I'm hiking or doing some other all day activity that would require me to eat 2000+ calories to stay energized. A good way to get the calories in is eating nuts, I always bring them when I'm hiking. Let me know how it goes for you!

Omg ladies I have found my new cereal love. ShopRite brand Honey Oat Clusters - SO GOOD! <3

I am finally back to 206 after a week of fighting with it.

Took my menu to my trainer and she says I need more calories and also gave me some ideas for smoothies she wants to me drink.....she wants me to have 1.700 on days I am not working out and 1,800 - 2,100 on days that I do workout...

I would do personals but I have a super busy day today and I just wanted to pop in and say hi!

Oh, and HAPPY HUMP DAY!!

Personals later tonight...

Haley - Maybe you're not getting enough calories for the amount you're burning?

I'm knitting my tail off today. I just finished my boyfriend's little sister's hat for christmas. You probably think I'm crazy but we have to start these things early, and I'm a slow knitter that just got about 5 new people added to the list of people that need presents lol.

You should prolly add in more calories. Based on your stats under your name you BMR is 1664.12. This number represents the amount of energy required to keep your body functioning normally assuming you participate in no activities. Add in your hardcore workouts you need some more energy =D

Mojo- I've tried that... I dont lose weight, if anything I gain it... Sparkpeople knows my stats and workouts and says anywhere between 1,300- 1,600 to lose two pounds a week... I stick to the lower and raise it on the weekends because I have more going on

Haley - Do what works for you. I can't do the same intensity workout every single day though. Some days are killer, other days are not. It's not that I doubt your intensity, it's that your body becomes super efficient so you shouldn't be doing the same intensity workout now anyways. BUT, that said, you didn't because you RAN for 15 minutes straight! That's like over a mile! **** YEAH Feels awesome, doesn't it? And, 5.0 is pretty darn fast. By the way, when you DO up your calories and "gain", it could be muscle mass. Just because you lose doesn't mean you're losing 100% weight in fat. Usually it's a good split, something like 75% fat and 25% muscle, but for us ladies, we already don't have enough muscle as it is.

Mary - Can you knit me a panda

Feral - If you're having a sore day, especially a day after doing some different exercises, a lot of it is water retention. YOU WILL GET OUTTA THE 180s! I will chant it with you. I need to get out of the 180s myself.

sgregg- i looked at zumba dvds and the cheapest i found them for was like $40 to $60 so before spending that much i wanted to see if i liked it then when i was looking i found all the dvds but the basics on youtube I think i can use the internet on my wii and get it on the tv.
Feral- i wish you a speedy trip to the 170s. The ground hog hasnt eaten anything else today but still wont go in the trap and where we put logs in one of his holes he dug it out grrr he is a cunning devil. Fort GH i hope will keep him away from the veggies
