I weighed in at 210 today! I finally got away from the 220s. It felt like I was stuck in that zone for forever. 11 more pounds. Jeez, at that point, I will have lost almost 60lbs.
Kabaker, you can do it! You'll feel good about yourself afterward, even if you're sweaty and breathing hard and feel kind of sick (at least, that's how I feel after exercising). Keep at it and it gets easier. |
I'm with you all! I weighed in @ 206.5 this morning. Sooo close! haha
|
Good-bye to the 200s as of Sunday! I never want to see them again! :mad: lol. Lets go, guys!
|
I can't wait to kiss the 200s goodbye! I feel stuck right now.

Congrats Thousandsunny!
:bravo::congrat::celebrate: |
well, i've been to the gym 5 days a week for the last 3 weeks and still loving it. i have exercised a lot over the last 5 months, but never felt so excited and motivated to get healthy as when i am at the gym. i've dropped a bunch of weight over the last month and am fully confident that i will be under 200 by june.

I'd love to be going 5 days a week to the gym.
I just started though, so I better take it slow. First time I went (by myself) I walked & biked 4 miles and payed for it the next three days. I toned the walking down to 2.85 miles Tuesday with no ill affects, so I'll be back there tonight for another hour on the treadmill. |
I am so ready to see 199 on the scale I can't stand it! It wasn't that long ago for me. I had a baby 7 months ago... so do the math it is 1yr 4/5mos ago... But I was right around 195-199. I want to be where I was when I met my husband 4 years ago!
Good luck to y'all! Keep up the great work! I wish I knew how y'all that have lost 60-70 lbs were doing it! That is really motivating for me! _________________________________________ Mini Goal 1: Onederland!! - (11 lbs to go!) Mini Goal 2: 185 - (25 lbs to go) Mini Goal 3: 175 - (35 lbs to go) Main Goal: 160 - (50 lbs to go) |
I am at 220 and I want so badly to get out of the 200s!! I have been in the 200s since starting college. I'm in law school now and I don't wanna start out in my new career looking the way I do. I'm sick of being that heavy-set girl, the fatty. I've started eating healthy, YAY! But the exercise thing is killing me. They say its better to exercise in the morning but if I don't have to be up all I want to do is sleep. Then three nights a week I don't get home til 9 or later. Anyone have any suggestions for when I should fit my exercising in??
|
I think you should focus on the amount of time spent exercising and how frequently rather than the actual time of day. I couldn't do mornings either, I'm like you in the sleep aspect. I basically roll out of bed, toss on clothes, do the usual hair/body things, grab lunch, and go.
I believe the frequent comments of 'Get it in where you can' and 'every little bit counts'. I wouldn't do it on your late days, but do something on the four other days where you can. I get off work and go straight to the gym when I go myself. And enough of the 'heavy-set' and 'the fatty' thoughts or comments, you're improving yourself one step at a time (schooling, eating healthy, and now working in exercise), so focus on that and the future. There is probably far too many other things that need your attention right now than something that is soon to be the past. You are doing awesome, hborden! :bravo: |
218 today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ugh, these last ten pounds are going to piss me off, I know it. I think TOM is going to be making the monthly visit soon and that's why the weight is being stubborn right now, but ARGH!
