Hi everyone! Well, yesterday wasn't too bad I suppose. I went round my Mums for dinner and she wanted a Chinese so we has one but I didn't even manage to eat half of mine and it wasn't too bad calorie wise. I'm pretty sure I stayed within my calories yesterday as I was exceptionally good during the day with my home made salad without dressing and an orange

I was also at a clients yesterday for work and I walked a LOT all day long...had to go round every building, up and down the stairs about 4 times looking for things so I certainly got some exercise! Just wish I hadn't worn heels though!

Today should be ok-ish...got a friend coming over tonight for some drinks and dancing so hopefully I'll burn some calories while I'm drinking them!

Count another one in the journey to onederland! I got really close my last go 'round, I was down to 205 but then I just gave up and gained back 30 pounds. I don't think I was in the right mindset before to really lose the weight, I had to work on my psychological self first. Now, I've came to terms with my weight and I"m ready to do something about it.

Welcome Lexibot!

I did really well and did cardio, weights, and yoga today. That's the first time I have done it and it really kicked my butt when we neared the end of the session, but I did fairly well considering.

I lost 6.8 lbs this week, as the result of a 1100-1300 calorie diet and working out five days a week. Granted, this is my first week, but is a first-week weight loss like that normal at my size? I like it and I'm excited, but I don't want to lose too quickly and be unhealthy either.

Welp, gotta go get ready for work. See you guys later!

Hey Shelly. I've lost up to 10 lbs in my first week before, so I wouldn't worry about losing too fast just yet. But you might want to ask some of the calorie counters about how much you should consume per day. It is my understanding that women are never supposed to go under 1200/day and that you want to start with a higher daily calorie count than that so you have room to move your calories down when/if you stall out.

I am still on the wagon, I started 30ds and it kicked my butt, but I feel it and I know that every jumping jack gets me closer to my goal.

Hiya! I noticed we've slipped into page 2 again so I'm dragging us back to the front

Well, things are going *ok* today. Had 2 slices of toast and a fat free yogurt for breakfast. Could have done better than toast but the cereal ran out, the milk went off and the fruit needs replenishing. It was nice toast though.

Just had lunch and went to the department store in town to find a new pair of jeans for a big meeting of friends on September 19th. I found a nice pair and tried them on. I looked in the mirror and complimented myself on my mascara because that was about the only thing I could see besides my thighs! THIGHS! They were everywhere! Urgh, not nice. Then I figured that it didn't really matter because whatever trousers I wear they're going to look the same. I bought the jeans...they were slightly tight but not really uncomfortable so my plan is to fit into them so they're not tight any more by the 19th September. I figure I can lose 6-8 lbs in that time, at about 2 lbs a week and a birthday in the middle. That should be enough for the jeans to be fine.

Grabbed some lunch out too. Had a low cal chicken and veg wrap and a pot of grapes and melon, which I haven't had yet. Will snack on that when I get peckish. Need to exercise though...lacking motivation. I'll psyche myself up and do something when I get home! Yes!

I know I have a long way to go and I haven't been under 200 in many years like 7th 8th grade maybe lol. It is slowly going though and I will make it sometime.

I did it! I'M IN ONEDERLAND! I FEEL LIKE STANDING ON THE ROOF AND YELLING IT OUT! I AM IN ONEDERLAND! I weighed in after TOM and the weight was just poof gone after such a tough two weeks I'm so happy!

Seriously I was getting all emotional today when I stepped on the scale. I have always been overweight and the last time I was below 200 I was 13/14 years old and even then I was around the 190s. THANKS SO MUCH TO EVERYONE ON 3FC. I LOVE THIS FORUM. HUGS TO EVERYONE

thanks Anti for keeping this thread going! Welcome to all new comers - you can do this everyone! I honestly believed for the longest time I would never see 199 on a scale but it's so possible! you can do this ladies!!
