So here's the deal... every Monday morning weigh yourself, and post your weight here (I've changed it to every Monday instead of every Sunday, it makes more sense, but it MUST be posted by Monday at noon to stay in the game).
Also post your final goal weight, and do the quick math to figure out how many pounds you are from that weight (Current weight [minus] goal weight).
Your team will have to elect a captain (soon!), and that person will add up the numbers:
1. Add together your team's total weight.
2. Add together the total number of pounds that need to be lost to get to everyone's goals.
3. Make a Pink Team's total weight, and number of pounds to be lost this week... then next week, add in the total number of pounds lost that week.
Use this thread to get to know your teammates. Get everyone to dish about their eating habits, their workout routines, strengths, weaknesses, what you can bring to the table, and what you need help with. Give each other suggestions, encouragement, new ideas and strategize. Let's see it ladies. Which team can be the Biggest Loser?

Anyways, I go by Leigh around these here forums but my full name is Ashleigh! I'm 23 years old, I've been married to Rob(ert) for 3 years now and we have a 10 month old son! I currently work part time (32 hours a week) at Kroger as a cake decorator. My current weight is already the lowest it has been in a very long time. I'm the first to admit I'm not exactly motivated when it comes to exercise. Between chasing my son around, trying to maintain my house, and being on my feet all day at kroger, sometimes I just don't have the energy to spare. So far it hasn't put much of a damper on my progress but I fear those days are coming to an end.
I selected my eventual goal of 170 because it's not only a reachable goal for me, but for my height and stature, it's more than reasonable. When I get to 170 I may decide to continue on a loss plan but I won't know until I get there But for this challenge...I think 188 is going to be my goal.
My TV obsessions (and there are a lot) include: Greys Anatomy, Ugly Betty, 30 Rock, The Office, House, The Biggest Loser, Dexter, Scrubs, and Pushing Daisies.
My music preferences are kind of undefined right now, but according to itunes, lately I'm listening to a lot of.... Jenny Lewis, Ben Folds, The Arcade Fire, Eisley, Sufjan Stevens, Elliott Smith, The Beatles, Fleetwood Mac, and Kevin Devine.
i'm amanda. i'm a 22-y/o senior at the university of alabama at birmingham. i'm actually a 2nd year senior, but what the heck--graduating college in 4 years is like leaving the party at 11. but i should be graduating next december with a degree in marketing with a minor in art.
i love all sorts of things, music being a big one. leighish, i like a lot of your music--sufjan stevens, the arcade fire and ben folds, mostly. i have to love ben folds, he's a fellow southerner and i have a secret desire to live in nashville, too. but my favorites as of late are pretty eclectic--lots of sigur ros, tom petty, the avett brothers, minus the bear and pinback. lots, though. LOTS. i pride myself on my pretentious music collection.
i don't have cable because i'm a poor college kid, but when i get a chance to watch cable, i love stupid a&e shows--intervention, paranormal state, all of it. some of my favorites come on regular poor people cable though, so i can watch them alot--heroes, re-runs of house, and law & order (svu, mostly, but i love the ci episodes with vincent d'onofrio in them).
i also crochet, sew, embroider, and cross stitch a lot. if it has anything to do with strings, i can probably make it/fix it.
i exercise at least 3 days a week, and usually for anywhere from 30-45 minutes. i think this week i'm going to start doing to c25k program and maybe some light weight training. i've also been thinking lately about starting the 30 day shred, but i always feel so cheesy doing work out dvds, plus my boyfriend that's always at my apartment would just sit on the couch and laugh at me.
my worst food habit is probably my sweet tooth. i love soda and candy. if i can keep myself away from those things, i'm usually doing fine. sometimes i make these ridiculous excuses in my head of why to be able to cheat on diets--mostly when i'm at my parents houses or my grandparents houses. i'm making a conscious effort to try to stop.
also, my starting weight, as of this morning was 189. after that, i'm definitely going to start weighing in the morning; i had no idea it would make such a difference. i think that my goal weight for the end of this challenge will be 181. that's 8 lbs, 2 a week. i think that's reasonable.
i hope i included everything i need to in here...i probably did, then plus some. OH, i nominate leighish for pink team leader, because it seems like i see her posts the most around the forum...just seems like she can keep up with everything!

I don't do anything... I don't have cable. I play wiifit occasionally and I have a weakness for sweets and fast food nearby when I'm hungry and nowhere near anything healthy... I don't know what else to really say since I have to go right now.
Hi ALL!! I am so excited to be on the PINK team since that is my fav color....and just about everything I own. Anyways!! I am Jessie, 25 year old single mom to a very energetic 4 year old boy. I love with my boyfriend and my son, and up until now have not had much exercising...but that is changing now. Just got a WII fit and I for sure sweat to death on there. Also thinking about doing the 30 day shred too. when I weighed the other day I was 236...pathetic for me...I am 5'3! this is my highest weight, and since me and my boyfriend want to start having babies, and I already have polycystic ovarian disease, I need to get the weight off. I am so excited to be doing this, and meeting all these fabulous people!! And I totally agree about Ashleigh being capt...she seems great for the part!!! Lets Party ladies!
Ok, so it's only almost 3am and here i am sitting here going... "Team Pink... why me? Well, might as well update a bit about myself..."
As I said before, I don't do anything productive or really go anywhere and stuff. My weight, as of a few minutes ago, is 299.5. I don't know what I should make for a goal as I don't recall seeing when this thing ends, only when it starts. Am I supposed to make a goal for next month? If so, I'd make it 275... A bit more than I should but I dunno...
I'm 23... live by myself with 3 (well, will be tomorrow) rats. 2 female babies and a male 4 month old is being brought over tomorrow. I have a friend with a dog who I walk often but that's about it.
I dunno who to nominate as I don't know any of you people... haha
It's juuuuust a colour, lol. I firmly believe you'll be okay.

To fill you in about me: I am 24, living in NYC, finishing up my master's degree.
When I hit 138 pounds on the scale and realized I gained 30 pounds since undergraduate school, (I'm 5'0), I decided I wanted to lose 25 pounds before my 25th birthday (which at the time was 25 weeks away). However, if I ever reach my goal, I might try to lose 5-10 extra pounds on top of that. It is important to me that I get into the best shape I possibly can, so I can become a beautiful wife and a healthy mother.
I hate exercising and I love to eat, so i am challenged in every aspect. I am actually needing this challenge because I had just dropped to 119 pounds and was feeling so proud of myself.. and then two days later, I gained back to 121 and have been stuck there for 4 days now!
I love TV, my favorites shows are: pushing daisies, lost, the office, ugly betty, dancing with the stars, etc.
I too like the first pink banner... the one about how pink in the new black LOL!
And all I know, is that I do NOT want to be team leader, so I nominate anyone who wants to step up and lead us!
so, we still haven't heard from chele615 but if majority is ruling, i'm going to go ahead and put the first banner in my signature. and welcome everyone, i'm so excited to be in a challenge with you!
arthwen, pink isn't my favorite color, either. but yeah, it's just a challenge and it's just for 4 weeks.
oh, and i posted my goal for the end of the challenge--my overall goal is 150.
