I used to be in this group about 10 pages ago, ended up taking a year away from 3FC with a ton of illness and injury (again!!!) and I am back and just slipped into this group again. 219.2 today

I finally went to the gym yesterday morning after letting my membership sit idle for an embarrassingly long time. Thinking about walking back in after not going so long was making me so anxious. I don't know why I should think that anyone else cares...they are there to do their thing lol.
Anyway, it's much easier to go back today now that I've broken that mental barrier. 218 this morning.

Holding steady at 218 this morning. I have 3 days in a row going to the gym under my belt. I'm really hoping to get in the 100's by the holidays. I've read many posts that say the scale sometimes goes up when you start exercising? I'm not sure how true this is but I am trying to mentally prepare myself for it. Anyone else have thoughts or experience with this?
Time to make coffee...I have an interview at 11 this morning. Wish me luck!

Happy Saturday!

My scale reads 217.6 this morning. A new low I am really focused on breaking into the 100's now! I went to the gym this morning and am feeling more comfortable there now. I used to go regularly at one time years ago and remember how strong I felt then. I'm looking forward to getting there again.

Good morning Gemini! Is it just us in this thread right now? So my scale went up to 219 for the past 2 mornings. The only thing I am doing differently is that I started going to the gym every day a week ago. It still makes me feel sad to see the number go up but I am trying to keep it in perspective.

I got on the elliptical at the gym today. I was so nervous but it was totally fine!! It actually feels better on my knee than the treadmill and is way better of a workout.

The scale also dropped back down to 218 today so that made me happy. I guess I've been pretty lucky with not having many upward fluctuations since I started so I really have to remind myself that it is completely NORMAL.

216.6 this morning! I'm trying not to get too attached to it the way my scale has been fluctuating since I started going to the gym but it sure was nice to see.
