immaculate: Good luck on your interview! I remember interviewing for med school and I was soooooooooo freakin' nervous. Once you finally sit down and start the interview, your nerves will probably settle a lot. Hope you do really well!
Angi- Staying on course with your health when you are going through that much crap is an AMAZING accomplishment. Hope things start to go more smoothly for you though!
Sarah- I love the pacific northwest! Although I think people in Seattle are pretty crabby too lol! But the surrounding areas are much more mellow at least.

Hope everyone is having a good week so far! There is not much new for me. I'm so busy right now and stuck around 218. However, I'm phasing off my diet so I kind of expected this. I've also started "running" and got my mile down from 18 minutes to 16 minutes lol! I know that's not really running, but for me it's progress!
Whoosh! 208.8 this morning--aftre 210.2 yesterday. I could actually tell I lost a ton of water yesterday. I'm not updating my ticker just yet, since I didn't stick with 209 almost two weeks ago (although I know why--it's not a "plateau" if you're not OP).
Tziri- Did you go to med school at UW? I've got a friend who graduated from there, she did her residency at the U of Utah. She has given me some info on Seattle. I hear Seattle is getting grumpy from all the dang east coast people moving in, HA! Most "big" cities have a initial chill to them. I'm just hoping that our non-traditional (we aren't church goers, etc) will be a little more socially acceptable out west. I know in Alaska, we never got a lot of odd looks. Certainly have out this way. We should could use some MELLOW! And "run"? What is this "run" thing you speak of? 16 min mile impresses the crap out of me!!
beth - YAY!!!!! GOOD luck today with your surgery. Let us know when you get back home and settled in. We shall expect extra posting about lifting weight from the couch and healthy snacks!
Grats beth!
Sara - I didn't go to UW, just interviewed there. I've lived in WA my entire life and I LOVE it here (although I would also be happy moving to CO for a while). Seattle is much better compared to most bigger cities. The people really aren't that bad. They can just get kind of elitist about some things in some areas (I know kinda vague but you'll see!). I tend to find them funny. I'm not a big city person in general. The traffic can get horrendous though! Especially when there is weird construction that randomly shuts down very busy on/off ramps for no reason. The west side is VERY liberal and democratic, so your family will fit in just fine!
Congrats to other losses! 200.4 is soooo close I think I will be going crazy at that point... waiting for it to drop!
Nothing much new for me. I got my mile down to 15:27 !! I'm definitely glad I decided to phase off my diet so I could work out again (even though the scale won't move yet grr!!). I feel so great after running...once I can breathe normally again that is!
Finally back home! The kids and I are much happier, even though we see his stuff still here and its saddening, we'll get through it. My heart breaks for the kids, they're so conflicted with missing him but seeing his actions. Its tough to watch them struggle.
211.4 this morning, mainly stress, I'm sure, but I've been Gestapo vigilante since I couldn't track as closely as I normally do and very sure to not reach for any triggers. Have a great Thursday, I'll be running errands and hoping the order of protection comes through soon.
I think I was 208.2 this morning. I say "I think" because I weighed myself standing on one foot--no weight bearing on my right foot without its special shoe.
I'll probably post long personals later today--it's uncomfortable to type lying down, though!
