No time for personals! I've found myself checking In with my phone each day this week and sometimes it hard to read everything while I'm at work!!!

I haven't been running all week but I am going to go today! It is on my list! Hubby wants to go and if he decides against it, I'll come back to the gym at work, I'm not as crampy and exhausted as I was before. Usually the first day is the worst.

I've decides I want to enjoy my time while I'm young doing productive things like exercising and traveling, I believe its really becoming a habit!

Heres a little fact for the day: It takes 42 day to break a bad habit or to start a healthy one. I let that sit in my mind all weekend...it clicked that I have officially have new healthy habits, one being 3FC once a day

I am 10 lbs heavier than my husband. I look forward to the day when I weigh less than him *sigh*....Down today, but still up from my lowest since I started.

This week I am going to restrict the calories a little bit, take it easy on the carbs and continue my exercise routine. Wish me luck!

Gosh our little group has grown again! I can barely keep up with everyone! Forgive me if I don't get to you all this morning!

Kristi - RIGHT! You are doing a great job hun! SO HAPPY FOR YOUR SUCCESS! Soon you will pass me up!

Aimee - You will definitely be missed! But you need to heal your mind so your body can follow! Know that when you are ready...We will be here for ya!

Coondocks- CELEBRATE BABY! Congrats!

Vixsin - I love your committment! You are really shining in the exercise department woman! Keep that up!

Kris- Planning is a good step in the right direction. I know you will get back in the groove soon. Those ten lbs need to take a hike!

Carter - Nice new low! WOOT WOOT!

Kukkie - Awesome news! Congrats on your new home, I bet you are over the moon with joy! Oh, I know I am late but, congrats for being smoke free! I think that is one of the hardest things to do...quit smoking. I gave it up so long when I first became pregnant, but every now and again it will sneak up on me. Especially in social situations drinking/smoking, that is hard! Anyhoo, you are doing super and sounds like life is giving back to you!

Okay I need to run now, I just want to let everyone know I am so happy to be a part of this group. I love coming here every morning to see and experience the commitment to this journey through another's eyes and the support and caring shown from everyone here. OUR GROUP ROCKS!!

Have a great OP day everyone!
Hugs,
Leah

Geeze…I keep coming on here, beginning to compose a reply, then I get interrupted and fail to keep what I’ve written…so I’m starting fresh.

Monday I was down 1.4 and excited…then TOM arrived and by Tuesday I was up .4 despite staying on plan. Yesterday was on plan until dinner -- got home, Dr. called and said I have almost no potassium and I had to run to get a RX and then to get it filled. It just threw my evening plans off and I decided to stop and buy pizza slices for dinner (bad mom!), but my DS was thrilled at the treat. Anyway, end result is that I’m up 2lbs today, but I’m hoping a lot of that is sodium and will whoosh away. Back on plan today.

I’ll be back later for personals!

You know what? I got to thinking and I am not going to run today. I cant help but worry about my knee. I do not think it's anything serious by any stretch of the imagination, BUT.....just the fact that I feel twinges is enough for me to think about it.

I think the smartest thing for me would be to enjoy an extra day off from running. I am still planning on Bob's ab workout tonight. I think I may add either his strength training or maybe some Yoga today. I'll get in a workout, it just wont be running today.

I am totally on plan with my calories so I will be sure to keep it light for supper as well. I'm thinking some stir fried chicken topping a huge salad. (same thing I had for lunch but WHO CARES!! I love it!!)

I'll miss running today, but I know that I'll be even more excited for it the next time I go. Maybe tomorrow....let's see how my knee feels.

Leah, I have a question for you: you have an elliptical at home right? What kind? Hubs and I are looking at buying one for the new house and there's so many out there, it's gotten a bit confusing!

Personals!

Okay, well, some...I can't do them all...so just a few highlights for me.

Ona -- Thank you for your prayers, I really appreciate them. I'm not really worried about the surgery, but it's still reassuring to have friends prayers and good wishes. Holy cow -- congrats on your 1.2 whoosh! Thank you for your constant encouragement too.

Diana -- Hi! I'm joining you in TTOM...blah! Who mentioned chocolate...man I'd like a piece of chocolate right now...will try a sugar free jello instead

Coondocks -- Nothing major, I'm having my gall bladder removed on FRiday. I had a gallstone attack back at the end of August and now I'm finally getting it out. I'm so happy for you at being 'overweight'!!!!

HI Leec27

Matilda - Yes, do drink more water...tea, coffee..diet soda...whatever, but you need to have lots of fluids to shed the pounds.

Rennie!! I've missed you I hope you are able to check in more often as your volunteer hours reduce.

Starbrite -- I hope you did well and feel good about your choices on the ski trip. Good luck meeting your mini goal while you're away!

Aimee - I'm sorry to see you go, but I hope you are able to find some time to focus on yourself.

Kukkie -- Congratulations on buying your first home!! How exciting! Now you will lose weight from cutting back on yoru grocery budget and all the time you'll spend cleaning

Kris -- I hope you are able to find a good price on a treadmill. Congratulations on being back on the wagon!

Leah -- I love this group too...when I just don't feel like doing this anymore, everyone here is an inspiration to me to keep on going. Your lunch looked great!
