30 Days on Plan?
Anyone want to do a 30 day on plan challenge with me? I want to commit to doing great for 1 month. Prove to myself I can do it! Anyone want to do it with me??

I'll definitely do one with you! I want to do my 30-Day Shred for all thirty days, without fail. So, that'll be my challenge =)

You know, I'm tempted. I consider myself on plans most of the time, but boy have I been grazing on crap here lately. 30 days with no crap is going to be hard, but I think it's time to kick it into high gear.

I am new here and need to lose almost 70 pounds. Somehow I can't start with my plan so I could really use some support. This would be a great start for me, a chance to commit to doing something finally at least for a month. When do we start? Tomorrow? And sorry if my English is not proficient, after all it's a foreign language to me. |
Sweet! Let's start tomorrow, so 10/11-11/11! Today will be easy for me, but next weekend will get harder! I'm not sure exactly how to do it from here, any ideas, like as far as the thread and stuff?

I'm in too, though I have to decide what my "on plan" will be. I might be a copycat and go with the 30 days of 30 day shred, but I will decide by the end of the night!

I'm in!! The last few days have been tough as I've slowly been slipping into unwanted yet familiar territory. I need to stay on plan!!

I'd like to join! 10-11 to 11-11 is perfect, as my 25th birthday is 11-12, and I have some pretty high hopes for how hot I'm going to look on my birthday!
FOR ONE MONTH: -no alcohol, not even on Halloween -stick like glue to my meal plan (I've already written it out, just need to stick to it!) -exercise every day for the coming 30 days Good luck, ladies! |

Oh God. One of these 30 days will include halloween. I'm still in. I haven't had any halloween candy yet and I don't plan on it.
I'm going to a halloween party where I suspect there'll be all kinds of snacks, treats, and goodies, but I've already resigned myself to bringing a a couple fiber one bars to eat instead. I will likely have alcohol though, only because I rarely drink so I know for certain that it won't throw me into a tailspin of eating other bad foods. |
Count me in! I would like to continue what I've been doing this past week but with a few adjustments to my diet. Although I do want some sweets on Halloween when I go out trick or treating with my cousins but I will count calories that day.
My plan Food: Carb cycling, adding more organic food and 2 liters of water a day. Exercise: Insanity workout videos 6 days a week and walks on Sundays. For me this ALL focusing on food. Its my biggest problem area. I can do exercise, no problem. Food though I end up messing up on. Alot. So for 30 days it is eating ON PLAN. And that includes 1 treat of frozen yogurt a week. And that's it. My biggest problem is relying on fast food. :P

I would join you ladies, but I'm going to Vegas in the middle of those dates. While I don't plan to go crazy and hit buffets every meal, I'm not planning to be "on plan."
But I will cheer you on from the sidelines!:D |
Okay, I need to be seriously honest with myself here. I need to work on my food and exercise, I was doing fine with both and had a setback, so it's not like I need to baby step into it. For 30 days, I will be on plan with food, and I will exercise at least 5 days a week. I'd like to shoot for 30 day shred every day but my knee has been a little wonky lately so I feel like I'd be pushing it if I didn't allow some days off! How are we going to keep track of this? Maybe smiley faces for the days we're on plan and sad faces if we're not? Just a suggestion. I really feel that I need to log it somehow, so I'll set it up in this post. If someone has a better idea, I'm totally willing to change.

I'm in love with this concept :) Even if I'm on plan with eating and exercise, my weight winds up fluctuating and frustrating me. Keeping up with "on plan" days rather than tracking my weight every day would be healthier for me I think..I'm excited!

It's 9 AM already where I live. So while you probably all sleep I started my plan. I've just drunk my first cup of decef.coffee and planning my next meals. I'm going to do calorie counting and exercising as much as possibly can. |
I'll be keeping track of how many consecutive days I do my 3DS, if I miss more than one day in a row, I will make myself start over =(

OK, I'm in. I haven't gone off plan in 140 days ~ but I could be onner! So the 30 days for me is about planning, and making sure I get the most nutrition I can from what I eat.

I'm in!! 10/11/10 - 11/11/10 (I love breaking it down by months it doesn't seem as overwhelming.
This is definitely going to be a challenge for me and my new way of eating. I am going to a banquet on the 16th (buffet style) and I am so determined to get through it eating on plan. Had a rough weekend (binging on junk) and I really want to get a least a good month of "clean" eating before I start indulging in planned treats. I'm pretty excited about this challenge!! Ooo! I wanna join! I'm in the middle of my p90x lean, and on my recovery weeks I'll be doing BL cardio max and BL boot camp! My on-plan (I calorie count) meals are under 1700 a day... With my bi-weekly wing date with friends, and a Halloween Party we are throwing with the same friends. I'm helping make foods, though, so I can make completely on plan apps and make others eat them too, :lol:...

I'm on the plan today so
10/11 :) I've eaten app. 1200 cal today of 1500 max I prescribed myself. Well, it's 7.30 PM here so I can almost say I did the first day as planned. I really feel excited about this challenge. I can't wait to see the results. I'll weigh myself once a week, on Mondays. My biggest problem is exercising, to be correct the lack of it. So this is my biggest challenge- to start exercising (at least walking)! |

It's amazing how much I am inspired by these cute little graphics on this website. Alright, I am starting a new job, and there are already four days I won't be able to work out because I am getting my wisdom teeth taken out, so I have already put frownie faces by that, however, I am up for the rest of the month. I am starting a new job and so I think this will really help me on track as I transition:

hey there! I also do my weigh ins on Monday, my problem is eating too much, lol, but I do exercise a lot. Can't have one without the other though. :( However, 1200 calories is awesome. That's about what I am eating today too. So excited about doing this!

Yay! It is totally inspiring me to do this right that so many people have joined up! Woke up and had a nice, hard, weight llifting session. It was awesome, perfect way to start the day. I am on track with food, although I am having cravings. :P

Awe, thanks for the birthday wishes! :D I slipped through work without anyone knowing. ;) But it's nice to have it acknowledged. And DH made dinner AND cake! Over cooked chicken, sticky, stiff spaghetti, crunchy cake...but HE made it, not me! Better than a 5 star restaurant. Honest to Pete, I'd rather have his homemade meal made just for me than anything I could have gotten at a restaurant. And the cake was still warm, straight from the oven! LOL! And I really liked it that way!

So today went really well for me, I did my fitness video, ate 200 calories less than I've planned due to the fact that I'm too tired to feel hungry hehe. How did everyone do on day 1? |
I know I'm a day late (and I definately cannot count today), but after straying from my plan for way longer than I even want to think about, I am starting anew tomorrow and I can't think of a better kick start than a 30-on-plan challenge. I will just go from 10/12-11/12...and beyond!
I'm starting out (first day on plan) at 245lbs. I am tracking my eating, but just as a side, I need to also focus on exercise. I figured I would just update on this post, just so I could keep everything together Woohoo! The first 30 days went great! I did okay today. Mostly on plan, though I added a bit too much cheese to my salad, and I had half a yogurt. But that's okay! Tomorrow will be even better! :)
