I thought for sure I'd be a new low this morning. However, I just matched the previous low weight. C'est le vie. Even though I've been really good and OP as well as running, the scale doesn't budge. I think I've reached the point in my weight loss journey where every pound is a battle! :)

matt_H 11-09-2010 08:40 PM

Another good day. I didn't do much exercise but I was well under my calories. The scale is getting ready for new territory soon, I know it! ;)

WildThings 11-09-2010 08:59 PM

I broke my food scale  (I think the battery is just going dead, but still), so I had to estimate my dinner calories but I had plenty to work with and overestimated, so I'm definately okay for the day. I also was WAY under yesterday because I had a migrane last night so skipped dinner in favor of sleeping. I did get in 4 miles of walking. I finally have my dog trained to walk a fast, steady pace instead of stopping every 3ft so she and I are both getting in a good walk in the evenings. She's looking so trim now ;).

Charms 11-09-2010 10:35 PM

Today was my higher calorie day and I enjoyed every one! I also got in a workout with Jane Fonda this morning. She may be 70 but man that woman can still make you feel the burn! LOL

10/11- 11/9

calluna 11-09-2010 11:05 PM

Dog tired tonight - long days at work these days. Ate very well/on plan, and now I need to see if I can force myself to pedal on the exercise bike for half an or hour so. It won't be much, but it'll be something.

AngelicLyna 11-10-2010 12:14 AM

11-8 :D
11-9 :D

I love being home where I can control my eating habits.

Sea 11-10-2010 11:58 AM

Hang in there guys. You know the good results of your good OP days are coming.
Wildthings - You are encouraging. I'm eager to be able to keep up and get in 4 miles at a time.

I'm on plan, doing well. I even got in 1/2 a mile more than usual 3 miles today on my treadmill.

AngelicLyna 11-10-2010 01:33 PM

I finally got my eating under control but since I'm sick, I haven't worked out as much as I like, just a few mins of running here and there. I wish my cold would go away so I can go back to burning fat and losing inches. =(

Tomorrow is the last day for our 30 days challenge!

matt_H 11-10-2010 08:42 PM

Twas a good day! :)

I did a good job tonight and make excellent choices. Hopefully the scale might actually move this time as it has been the same for a LONG time.

Charms 11-10-2010 09:42 PM

I can't believe tomorrow is going to be 30 days already! I am so glad we're going to keep going thru the end of December.

I did well today even with a bunch of last minute schedule changes and crazy family drama.

Got a workout in and stayed on plan.

10/11 - 11/10 :)

matt_H 11-10-2010 09:47 PM

WHOOHOOO!

Lets just keep posting on this thread until the end of November and then we can make a new thread on December 1st :)

matt_H 11-11-2010 06:42 AM

Its been 9 days since I saw a new low weight and this morning I'm finally down 1 pound lower. 188.8 :). Today is a holiday so I hope to spend the day walking around and doing healthy things to occupy my time.

Charms 11-11-2010 08:51 AM

Congratulations Matt!

Hello Chickies!

Just dropping in for an update. Weight loss is going fine.. I'm starting to notice a trend where I fall to a new low, spike back up a few pounds, and it takes me about a week to get back to the low again. This happen to anyone else? Not sure if it's the PCOS talkin' or it's a universal weight loss struggle :dizzy:

School is going pretty well. I still have a lot of catching up to do reading wise but my midterms went better than I had expected: 99 on Abnormal Child Psych, 100 on Women in American History and 92 on The Ancient World *happy dance* haha :D The last one was multiple multiple choice; it could be A, it could be A and B, it could be A through E! If you don't circle all the correct answers you get the whole thing wrong x_x;; I'm happy with the outcome though :D

After reading others post about SAD I decided to purchase Viactiv.. I've been taking huge Calcium (plus vitamin D) pills but I can barely get them down. I'm not sure if my body likes it so far.. I had horrible stomach cramping last night that I actually wound up going to bed with.

Some things I want to work on:

I've barely been exercising, which I need to incorporate ASAP. I'm probably going to get a lot of schoolwork out of the way this weekend and head to the gym Monday morning. I also want to start walking my dog more 'cause she's a chubsawubsa like her momma ;)

I've always been one to drink a lot of water but lately I can barely get three of my 22 ounce water bottles down in a day. I'm not that thirsty, but I know I should be drinking more. Any thoughts?

I can't wait to get into the 260's, so exciting for me! When I did WW a few years ago I never made it past the 270's, this is going to be whole new territory for me :) I'm gonna keep on chuggin' along and try not to jinx myself!

Ahhh, I missed posting :P Glad to be back!
-Stephy

calluna 11-11-2010 10:48 AM

Had a good yesterday, with a relatively short half hour of exercise. I'll take it! Finally saw a new low today - 175.2. Hurrah!

Charms 11-11-2010 11:36 AM

Good to see you back Stephy! I find that I have a big whoosh right before and after my TOM and then a spike or small loss for the next couple weeks. As long as I keep whooshing I will be happy.

As for the water, maybe squeeze a bit of lemon in your bottles and see if that helps. There are some days I can struggle to get my 64 ozs in and other where I down 100 oz without a thought.

Congrats on the new low calluna!!!!!

AngelicLyna 11-11-2010 02:10 PM

Grats and welcome back Stephy. If you go back to exercising more I'm sure you'll go back to drinking lots of water again.

Charms 11-11-2010 08:17 PM

Well today marks 30 days on plan for me. In that time I've lost 11 pounds. I am pleased :D

10/11 - 11/11 :)

calluna 11-11-2010 08:27 PM

Here's my tally for the last month. It did what I needed it to do - help me to get back on track after the surgeries and recovery in September and early October.

From now to Dec 1, I'd like to use it to help me stay on track as I approach 100 lbs lost and healthy BMI. I'm so close!

Congrats Charms and Calluna (and of course anyone else still hanging in with us) on your successful 30 days! My 30 day mark is tomorrow, I started a day late, but here's to another successful 30 days!

matt_H 11-11-2010 10:04 PM

another good day for me. :) Lets keep the ball rolling here till Dec 1st :) Then we can start a new thread!

Charms 11-12-2010 09:17 PM

I had a darn good day today. Got my workout done, caught up with work, did some household chores and stayed on plan!

10/11- 11/12 :)

calluna 11-12-2010 10:44 PM

11/12 :D

Ate pretty well today, and shortly I'm going to drag myself out to the garage to work out for a while.

matt_H 11-13-2010 12:05 AM

Today wasn't a good day in every respect besides health. I was within my calories and I was able to get some exercise in. Although it was a scheduled run day I didn't have time. I'm going to try to run in the morning early (before my WW meeting).

WildThings 11-13-2010 10:52 AM

I made it through my first 30 days!!!!

Congrats Wildthings!

On plan yesterday and so far today. 3 miles on the treadmill today. :)

AngelicLyna 11-13-2010 04:04 PM

11/12- :) I'm down 1.8lbs this week with no exercise. Still sick =(

11/13 :D

I haven't exercised yet, but I have been active and busy all day. I may yet work out; not sure. Still have to be careful till I'm back to 100%.

Charms 11-14-2010 08:03 PM

Congrats WildThings! What a great month for you! :carrot:

Nice work on the treadmill Sea.

AngelicLyna, I hope you are feeling better.

YaY! for on plan days calluna :)

So my weekend was INSANE! Last week my son was in the hospital and I ran around like a lunatice between work, visiting him, babysitting so my DIL could visit him. Thankfully he's home now and doing well.

Saturday was spent Christmas shopping. One more trip out for a few odd, ends and wrapping paper and I will be DONE!

Today I was going to relax but the desk in my office decided to fall apart so I had to take everything down, put up a new desk and then put everything back together. Of course the desk fiasco happened after I had my closet emptied to organize so I had to finish that up too.

I came to collect my smiley and then am headed for a much deserved steaming hot bath since I stayed on plan through all of it! :D

Sea 11-15-2010 09:44 AM

Good job Charms!

Yesterday was one of those munchie days - I just wanted to eat stuff. I did, but pretty strategically and all on plan. I was a few calories higher than I would normally be, but definitely feel I earned a smiley.

skygirl 11-15-2010 07:28 PM

I've been away and need to get back to daily accountability. I'm really glad to see you all keeping up this challenge and already planning to start again on December 1st. Yippee! Congrats to everyone for sticking with it and making such great progress. I'm going to be joining you all again. Looking forward to it! :)

Charms 11-15-2010 09:34 PM

I had a higher calorie day today but didn't over eat or eat any junk :carrot:

No workout since I'm recouping from the weekend and fighting a cold or allergies. Ugh.

Sea 11-16-2010 09:34 AM

Op but weight up for 2nd day. NO FAIR!

Stressful week - stayed on plan and will do so today. Scale is staying steady and I just don't have the time to care if it's up or down until late this week.

skygirl 11-16-2010 07:45 PM

Had a great weight lifting workout today. Went up on weight just a little bit last time, and stuck with it this time, even though I've been out of the gym while I was away. Will do 3 weight workouts this week. And starting tomorrow I'm going to be walking a minimum of 3 miles a day for at least 3 days a week, with an ultimate goal of 3-5 miles a day for 5-7 days a week. But I will give myself time to work towards that. Feeling pretty good today. Things feel a bit looser, which I think is the shape of things changing from the lifting. :)

Charms 11-16-2010 09:21 PM

I fit into size smaller jeans this morning and could see the loss in my hips in the mirror.

Still fighting bad allergies or a cold or something. But kept my calories in check, got my walking workout in and am here to collect my smiley!

10/11-11/16 :)

Sea 11-17-2010 10:48 AM

:D Got my -2 lb today. It's about time!
