Eat healthy - day 15
Crunches - Day - 15
30 min exercise - Day 9 actually I did a yoga/pilates workout for 1 hour 20 minutes and it kicked my butt!!! But, I liked it
I don't mean to be stupid, but . . . what is a "pause"
Also, I'd love to get a yoga or pilates DVD, I'd like to have one as I am going to be moving in with my best friend, he has a house and I won't have access to the apartment clubhouse and all the things they offer. Suggestions??
Julz, distory, Shad . . . you all are doing so great. You all motivate me !!!!
Again, no time..just posting my results for the day..
Fresh vegetable juice -- Day 15 completed/0 pauses of 3 left

Took a pause for exercise, still day 5 (it's level 2, so one more to go) and still can't get going on the no beer, as usual. Sorry Red, I'll be good from now on!!! I am so impressed as to how your no alcohol challenge is going! Good for you!!
Way to go London..I'm going to check out the couch 5k thing too.
And Lost...you are doing awesome too!!
And Shad! Great job everyone!
Well, got my challenges met yesterday even though I was tired. I can't say I put my all into my workout, but I did do it. Luckily my son slept last night! It was so nice to get a decent night's sleep last night!
Lost - I myself don't do yoga or pilates, but head on over to the exercise video thread. I know I've seen suggestions there for both. Also check out collagevideo on the web. They have reviews on lots of videos and preview clips too.
Shad - You're doing good, keep it up!
Apple - Sorry about the pause and the beer thing! Don't give up though, you can do it!
Julz - Yes, weekends are tough. Especially on Sundays during football season when my husband takes over the living room, which is where I workout. I also cook on weekends which makes the calorie thing tough. I did at least, log all my calories. The workout unfortunately didn't happen.
By the way, I admire both you and Red for that no sugar challenge! I don't know if I'll ever get to that one!
Hi Ashley, HP, Red and Sweet Pea! Hope everyone is doing great!
Day 7 – exercise, level 3, two pauses taken
Day 8 – calories 1200-1500, 1 pause taken
Day 8 - food log, level 3, 1 pause taken
Day 8 – at least 5 fruit/vegetable servings, level 3, 1 pause taken
Day 8 – at least 70 oz water, level 3, 1 pause taken
Bad day today, so I ended up taking a pause on everything. Just passing through to confess.
Hey Ashley don't feel too bad, we all have days like that, that's why we have pauses. And that's why we don't give up!!!!
My committed exercise challenge is becoming hard. The gym I signed into up here only opens early Monday, Wednesday and Friday. So the other two days of the week I have to come in the afternoons or find another way to exercise. I do have the pool downstairs but because I am a tightwad I figure I paid for the gym, I'd better use it. So a couple of times I have gone in the afternoon. Now because I am a morning person, this is really hard. Last night I couldn't get the bike under control and it really peeved me right off. I've now decided that if I go in the afternoon, it will be for weights and resistance stuff and not cardio. That's just too hard.
I don't even like going at 9.00am or 12.00 midday in the weekends. Guess I am getting old and staid hey?!
Okay, better go strike another blow for the cause. See you all tomorrow.
1) Drink 8 glasses of water a day (Level 1) DAY 5 COMPLETE
2) Do complete Pilates DVD (Level 3) DAY 2 COMPLETE
3) Treadmill (Level 3) DAY 2 COMPLETE
4) No Sugar (Level 3) DAY 2 COMPLETE
Hey all! Just posting my totals for the day. I'm finding that the water challenge isn't as much of a challenge anymore... not saying that there won't be a day that it won't be hard.... but - I'm just more aware of it now. Someone in some thread on this entire 3FC forum said sometime that when you're feeling hungry, drink water first - because you may just be thirsty and your body is sending out hunger signals (or something to that effect). I can say that this theory has been tested with me. I'll have a hunger pain and I'll down some water and I'll find that I'm not hungry. Or like tonight, 5 minutes after dinner, we were watching American Idol and I felt the need to munch. So, I grabbed a water bottle instead. And VIOLA - no more munchy needs....
Don't know when I'll find time to post. Maybe not until the weekend. Until then, keep keeping on!!
Fresh vegetable juice -- Day 16 completed/0 pauses of 3 left
No alcohol challenge -- Day 17 completed/1 pause of 3 left
Crunch challenge -- Day 5 completed/3 pauses of 3 left
No sugar -- Day 3 completed/3 pauses of 3 left
The juice is going to be tough. I'll have next to no time tomorrow to make it but I will!! Alcohol is going to be a pause tomorrow with a party at work but I just know I can get through till 21! Crunches and sugar, I will prevail. Almost took a pause on sugar today...then just said, No!
Really wish I could talk to you all, but will soon!
