The evenings of the last 2 weeks have been tough! I do GREAT all day long, but about every third evening or so I come home and all I see is the carbs in the house! I confess I have lost my will power a few time chips and sweets. I AM in this to win it. This week I should be able to rock it. I played volleyball last night and it felt great! Think I may join a gym for a little something to do in the evenings!

WI number 6 and another pound gone forever! I have ONDERLAND in my sights! Maybe I can eek out 3 pounds this week... I know I can.

Our family Christmas party is tomorrow and I am bringing a veggie platter! But god wine and sweets....I wish my mother was heavy! She just does not get it and will push food at me all day. Good luck to you all for your upcoming party's and good luck to me tomorrow!

This was me a for a couple of months. I had reached goal and had gained some back. In trying to restart, i would do great for 3 days and then in the evenings just not be able to have control.

What did it for me is a picture comparison. That helped me see the extra pounds I had already piled on and made me be more determined to get to goal again.

Just look at all you have accomplished, you can do it.

Question HELP!!! Quest Bars????

Can some of my beautiful sweet 90%ers please please help me with figuring out the quest bars?

I asked earlier this week in the Daily Chat and was given a link to the Quest bar thread. I have read through a little less than half and I am yet to determine which ones can be used as a 3rd packet and which ones are super restricted or non IP compliant. There is a lot of heated "I am right" tones and it gets uber confusing

So if any my sweet gum drops here use them please can you tell me what I can use as my 3rd packet for IP? I will pay in

Sarabell: Do you mean use as restricted (usually what the 3rd packet is considered) or unrestricted?

Some folks will use any of them as restricted.
Others are more particular about staying closer to IP guidelines (which you may have interpreted as the "I am right" tone) and have ruled about a few because of higher fat or calorie content. This is why you don't see a "final" answer. The shades of gray.

There are only a couple that sit on the fence between restricted and unrestricted. Those are the chocolate peanut butter and strawberry cheesecake at 160 calories. A few people count them as unrestricted. Others count them as restricted b/c they're on the fence. Many people have found quest bars slow or stall them so watch carefully to determine what happens.

Which to use for which purpose (restricted vs not) is going to end up a matter of opinion for how close one is sticking to IP and trying to match contents in IP products.

Hey all. Was 95% phase 2 over the holiday. It was just easier dealing with all on the family. Managed to not gain anything. Back to phase 1 and already seeing the scale go down.

Had a rough night last night with a friend who drank too much. He said some very hurtful things. I told my sweetie who got upset and wanted to confront him but I asked him not too. I really don't think our friend knew what he was saying. But being the only sober one was tough.
