Well, I don't think I made my exercise goal. I walked some, did a few exercises to increase flexibility and lifted a bit of weights. On organized exercise that was about it.
But work wise, I worked several days, walked up and down more stairs than I cared to, climbed a few ladders.... Removed plants from the garden which had died, some from that frost last month. Removed the shade cover and posts from it and stored them. Well, hung them on the fence anyway Removed the plants that were still OK from the garden, storing quite a few onions in boxes with attached rootballs to be planted again soon... Trimmed back the frost killed portions of my chili plants, then dug them up with rootballs and placed them so I could replant when I built a greenhouse. Removed the tomatoes which had not been totally killed with rootballs. Removed the soil from a 10 X 4 " X 16 inches deep to condition the soil, dug up and carried in 1000 lbs of manure for that planter, placed it in and mixed in soil. Then added another 50 lbs of coconut fiber and mixed that in, added the rest of the soil. Then assembled the small greenhouse I bought for that (7'wide X 14' long X 8' high) then carried in then dug up the rest of the chilies which were still in spoil and planted them in side, planted the other plants I had previously dug up including the tomatoes which were still OK enough to save. Then dug up basil, oregano and thyme and replanted them more compact inside.
Then I tackled the next raised bed box which I plan on placing a greenhouse over soon. Dug up/removed with rootballs the okra which were killed down to within 6 inches of the ground and put them in planters and carried them inside. (greenhouse getting kinda crowded ) Then I dug the soil out of the next planter, 5 cubic yards, 6 tons of it and removed the old boxing and dug it 9 inches deeper so the roots of the new plants in it will be more gopher protected. I will line the bottom of this with 1/2 inch poultry netting first.
This is where I am at with it at present. This newer bed will need an additional 2 tons of soil and another ton of manure to mix in it before I build the greenhouse around it but this will be part of my December exercise.
Congrats to all yall gung ho gals on so much exertion you put out this month
