I'm in! I'm going to go for 6 lbs again, but I'm going to wait until Dec. 1 to give my official start weight since I know I'm up a few lbs because of Thanksgiving. I don't know if I'll be able to drop any of it in just two days, but we'll see! Thanks Joy!

Sign me up! I think expressing my frustrations has really helped me move on. That and realising I really really need to get back on track! I'm not sure what I'm starting at exactly, so I have an estimate of 66kgs (All that hard work ). Realistically, I want to lose 1kg, so my goal at the moment is 65kgs. Once my TOM has finished I'll come back with better starting/ending numbers, but the 1kg goal will remain.

Thanks again for everyone's kind words. They helped a lot

Running distance goals: 4.4km (30min) achieved 7 May 2013. 6 km (45min) 4 September 2013. 10 km (1hr 12min) achieved achieved 18 October 2013.
Competitions: Round the Bridges, Nov 17 2013 completed, 44min 07secs.

Hi, I'm in, I too am going to wait for 12/1 for starting weigh-in, but I already know my goal to get into the 150s, so my goal weight is 159.9

I'd like to join here too. I find these challenges really keep me on track! My goal is 10lbs this month!

05: 273.4 - I don't know if this is water weight or just being home with my family. They eat terribly and I try to do my best, but it's so hard!!

I took the liberty of clicking your link, which I seldom do, to read that you are named Misty, the same name of my daughter, and live in Moab, the most beautiful place on earth, where I have longed to live for 40 years myself. WOW yer lucky

Also, in reading the "about you" page, what I read letting others down and being misunderstood could have been written by myself. There are some things just beyond our control that we must accept.

I also will be in the Dec challenge with my goal of 12 lbs. I did not make my first two months challenge but instead of going lower this month, I am going back to my first goal of 12 lbs loss. I think I have a better resolve this time and understanding of the failures of the past two. I kinda quit trying for a while and it shows. I started out with too small of caloric intake which though yielded great loss, resulted in me feeling like crap. Had to increase intake and get back to feeling better, experimenting along the way. Took in too many for a while and developed a few bad habits along the way which I am correcting now. Realizing I needed to take in more gave the excuse to eat snacks when I did not need to, kinda like that trying to quit smoking thing, "Well, one more cigarette (sandwich/banana/pomegranate/etc) won't matter" sort of thing. Only with eating, that is something we have to do and learn to control, with tobacco, alcohol and other addictive habits, one simply stops altogether instead of having to control (practically impossible) the habit.

My weigh in will wait til the first along with my final weigh in for November til tomorrow. I weighed this morning and show up almost 2 lbs over last week, which is water or something, I know I have an actual loss and hope it shows up tomorrow.

I'm in! Even though I gained 1.2# back right at the end, I still met my goal for November by losing 6#! I'm going to set my goal at 6 lbs. again!
