  • I broke even in November, which is better than gaining so I'll take it. Honestly whenever I set a goal in this thread I get nowhere so this month I am just going to make my goal in this thread staying on plan more than I have been.

    I know that isn't really in the spirit of the challenge but I want to keep with the weigh in and the convo because you are all so supportive

    I will weigh in tomorrow with my starting weight
  • Hey everyone! I'd like to join this challege! My goal is 4% of my weight... which is 8 lbs. I'm 209.2 as of today, so that is what I will use as my starting weight for december.
  • I'm in!!

    I'm starting the month at 77,7kg (171.3lbs)
    and would like to be 76,2kg (168lbs) at the end!

    yesterday's weigh-in: 78,5kg (173lbs)
    yesterday's calories: 1400
    yesterday's exercise: 40min run (6k)
    today's weigh-in: 77,7kg (171.3lbs)
    change: -0,8kg (-1,7lbs)

    I had a drop today! woohoo. I am really excited.
    Also - it's December! I am in a really Christmassy mood I went to the fair for the first time this year. I saved 500calories for it (didn't eat anything at my friend's birthday brunch. Go me!), but it was so crowded, I couldn't get to the stand I wanted to buy food at. So I went for a Choc Pecan McFlurry instead My hands were about freezing off but I love McFlurries so it was still amazing.

  • Well I seem to be going in the wrong direction already!!! But I had that big whoosh at the end of last month, so I'll be glad to stay around here for a few days.

    I'm starting out the month at 178.5. I really think that's including temporary water weight though. I think my actual weight is 177, which was my November goal weight (which I hit), and where my ticker is still set, so I'm going with a start weight of 177, despite what the scale says today. I want to make it to 171, so my goal is 6 lbs.

    Pixikat, I think staying on plan is a great goal, especially since you have just started a new weight loss plan! In fact, it may be a harder goal than setting a number on the scale to reach, but you can do it!

    183, congrats on the big drop! What a wonderful way to start the month!

    Turtle, I hear ya and I'm right with you! But we'll get to where we want to be!

    Rhiko, I'm glad you're feeling better and your resolve is back!

    Whew BFR, 12 lbs! That's a big goal, but it will be exciting to see you reach it!

  • My starting weight is 237.1, this mornings weigh in
    So my goal of -12 = 225.1

    I probably will not make it, but gonna try hard. For Thanksgiving I only ate two turkey sandwichs, a bowl of turkey/fideo soup, two clementines and one banana. Scale showed up 2 lbs the next day........ LOL Figure that out.

    Anyway, I know I am losing fat, that set of scales is just gonna have to give up one of these days and show it. BTW, I had my 90 day doc's appt last week and her scales and mine are only 4 oz diff. So that is a purt accurate weight.

  • I'm in! I'd like to lose 8 pounds in December. I usually average about 3-4 pounds a week...but i figure with xmas food 2 pounds per week is probably more realistic!!
  • Turtle psssh as long as you were OP the bump up is just water fluctuation! Keep up the good work

    Jacqui thats the problem with starting a new month 2 days after holiday eating, water weight hasn't finished falling off lol

    Rooster AH! Sodium is a killer lol I'm sure it'll flush back off in no time.

  • Howdy everyone!!! Back on board. I ate terribly this weekend...which is sad, because I was such a good girl on Thanksgiving day. I just messed it up by going out with friends and my hubby and overindulging.
