Well I survived work and stayed on plan. It was a long day and I'm in a foul mood, but at least it's over.

Charlie-not sure this is what you want to hear but it took me 8 months to get under 200 lbs. I've been losing about 5 lbs a month pretty steadily. There were 3 of us who all "broke" 200 at the same time so it was kind of fun. Jennie, me, and momX3 if she ever pops her head in here again.

It was a big moment psychologically. I have lost a lot of weight before but I've not been under 200 in over 10 years. I knew when that happened there was no turning back.

Beatles fan good job on getting through your day! Bringing a lunch from home was a good idea!

Curly you always do such a good job on exercising! I know it's hard to get out for a walk in this bad weather but you did it!

Jennie welcome back! You know this is a great place to get that motivation you need!

Charlie I'm dying to get under 200 also! I think its a big goal for a lot of people here! Its to hard to be patient sometimes!

Petra I remember when you hit onderland! That was so great!

Good Day !!

Well I survived my first day as a Protein Power girl....with the exception of a carb withdrawal headache

Just finished dinner and my totals for the day were 38 g carbs and 147 g protein. Pretty good my first day, if I do say so myself

Jennie - so good to see you again. As always you have jumped right back into the swing of things !!

Petra - any good recipe web sites or books that you can recommend ?

Any of you planning on watching the Biggest Loser special on tomorrow night?

Well I better hit the books before it gets too late.

Hope you all have a great evening !

TLB-did you get my PM or did the Big Sister erase it? Make sure you drink plenty of water and take Mag and Potassium supplements especially the first couple of weeks because of the big water loss you are likely to have. I think they do mention that in the book. That may be what part of the headache was about.

Charlie-what do you mean about being in "in a foul mood when you are dieting?" This isn't sounding good in terms of long term success. You need to be on a plan you can do for life and if what you are doing is making you miserable maybe you need to reconsider. Just my $0.02

Hey gals, figured I'd check in. I've had a good day, I stayed OP. I went to kick boxing class after work. My new plan is to go to that 2 days a week and work out either on lunch break or early in the moring 3 days. should be toable. I think when I was trying to work out every day, it was to hard to keep up with.
I'm going to be feeling not full which is the feeling I am aiming for. Over the holidays, the cookies and junk and sugar would make me feel oh so yucky and I'd go to bed feeling gross and bloated. Oh why did I let it go on. I think I thought I was imune to the weight gain or something crazy like that and that some how the cookies would make me happy. well I know that isn't true. Plus I much prefer the satisified feeling from having an OP day and working out.

TLB: sounds like u are off to a great start! i am curious how u managed to get all that protein in.. i know u are super busy.. but could u possibly post what u had? I ask cuz i have trouble getting all my protein in

Zoey:Good to see u back.. how are things going for you?

Charlie: stick with the exercises, maybe break them down into shorter multiple sessions until you get stronger.. so u dont get the stitches

Beatles fan: try not to rush it.. the slower it comes off,,, the longer it stays off!

Petra: this week i am tired of oatmeal.. tho i do love it..im back to my boiled eggs (yuck) you really have that scale moving on down!!!

Valerie: I am just trying to tweak my program got my food in check,, so i am trying to see if its my walking thats missing.. or the scale thats really messed up.. i figure its got to move sometime.. all the articles i read say just keep at it and one day it will drop quickly all of a sudden with a big woosh.. I am ready to WOOSH!!!

Jennie: those evil cookies.. isnt it amazing how just a few and make those wild sugar cravings come back!
I really have to work hard to avoid them .. cuz i would rather eat sweets than food any day!

Angel: whats up there? you are doing awesome girlie!

maysmav & trudei & Lyndsey: how is your week going??

ok time to get ready for work... have a great OP day Pics!

Curly-I typically don't have much trouble getting in my protein. I had some ridiculous amount yesterday like 150 grams. I've already had 56 grams for breakfast this morning.
