What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: I'm at a low point in my life where I just constanly feel depressed because of my weight. I can either complain or do something about it.

What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: In the past I’ve relied on pills. I’ve tried just about every pill on the market, only to regain weight and then some. So this time I’m going to do it with out the pills just exercising and eating healthy.

Biggest hurdle to overcome in weightloss: So far my biggest hurdle is noz going back to eating unhealthy foods. I have cravings and i get angry at myself many times for giving in. I think i have a binging problem because whenever things go wrong i just eat and eat amd dont stop. I really want to get past this hurdle.
Following any specific plan: I am on a low calorie, low fat, loe carb diet. Originally i was only taking in 1200 caloties a day, but that was not so healthy so i try to not pay such close attention anymore.
What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: I really am determined this year, more so than last. I lost 50 pounds last year but gained back twenty once i went back to school i just failed to keep a routine. This year I hope I can change that.
Anything else you would like to share with us: I have a good life, a boyfriend who loves me dearly, but how can you love someone fully if you cant love yourself. I feel so afraif that one day he will get sick of my weight amd leave me even though he assures me that will never be true. I just want to like myself, for once, finally.

What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past:I don't want to wear a plus-size wedding gown and want to be at a healthy weight before having children, and they're coming sooner rather than later
Anything else you would like to share with us: I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis in Feb of 2006. I gained 35 lbs in 3 weeks as result of prednisone therapy. I've been on the 'lose 10, gain 20' bandwagon until I went into remisson in June of 2010. I've been hovering between 202 and 208 since. I was not overweight prior to 2007.
Hobbies/Interests: ice hockey, reading, cooking, make up, watching movies and TV, and as a new found hobby: weight loss (which is my new years resolution)

What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: Im not alone doing it this time. Before Ive always tried doing it on my own, which worked for a while, but whenever I reached a plateau I failed each time. This time around I have my mom whose going to WW with me and I have the entire group there and an awesome coach to help me through any downs... And that has been a great help to me

Biggest hurdle to overcome in weightloss: Keeping at it and then maintaining. Tend to fluctuate over a stone, never mange to keep going or stay at weight :/

What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: I no longer have a mentally abusive boyfriend. My solution to weight loss about 2 years ago was anorexia. I lost a lot of weight in a short period of time and was at my lowest of 138 pounds the very unhealthy way. Since then I have regained a lot of weight and I plan to lose this weight the right way and regain my self confidence as well as the feeling of being healthy.
Anything else you would like to share with us: I feel as though without support I will fail. This time I also plan on dieting with two of my closest friends. Its about time I feel comfortable in my own skin and stop letting what others say get to me.

I can definately relate to your story...I was in the same kind of relationship when I gained my weight, as well as dealing with a non-weight related health problem, and in the middle of studying for a degree. I've finally decided, like you, that I need to build an external support system because I am embarrassed about how heavy I've gotten, so much so that I don't tell people how much I weigh, or that I'm trying to lose it. I hope this site will help to keep me accountable for my actions, and I can be more open with people I don't have to work with, etc, every day! Be strong!

Biggest hurdle to overcome in weightloss: Stopping myself from going back to my old lazy self.
Following any specific plan: Not really, cutting out red meats, eating more fruits and veggies, eating smaller meals.

Following any specific plan: Semi-following Gillian McKeith's "food combining". Low calorie, with healthy fats, and fruit for carb/sugar sources. I also have stopped drinking soda. haven't had any in months i don't smoke or drink either
What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: When i was younger i tried Atkins. It worked, but i hated it, and i gained the weight back. This time, i'm educating myself on every kind of diet there is, and choosing the most healthy options.
Anything else you would like to share with us: Drink more water! and cut out soda! I used to be addicted to diet coke, and i slowly cut back on it. Now it's just weird to me. Plus water is cheaper and sometimes free
