Good Morning, everybody!

December 2011 starting weight: 203.4; ending weight: 198.4
1-1-2012: 198.2; 1713 calories; 1.5 hr workout
1-2-2012: 199.2; 1286 calories; 1+ hr workout
1-3-2012: 199.0; 1339 calories; rested
1-4-2012: 199.2; 2071 calories; 1+ hr intense workout
1-5-2012: 199.8; 1431 calories; walked 1+ hours (including 3/4 mile with weights)
1-6-2012: 199.8
Average daily calories: 1568

The scale isn’t budging, and at least I’m still under 200. I know it’s just a number, but it still packs a psychological wallop!

I planned for a high calorie day yesterday, and had one heck of a time getting in as much as I did. I found myself eating waffles with butter at 10 PM as I was still under 1200! Man, after working so hard to cut out simple carbs and saturated fats, it’s not easy to get in the calories. I have little control around things like sugar and carbs, I just don’t keep them in the house. People gave me lots of dark chocolate candy over the holidays, and I’d eat ten/twelve candies in a sitting! Yet, that is when I lost the weight! I’m trying not to use that as an excuse to go back to my old addictive ways, and use real food to bulk up on the calories.

Thanks, Rennie, OnaMi, Angie, and Diana for your support!

Omgzitsmiranda Look at you go!! Great job! You deserve that maintenance day.

Steph I’m sending you some good energy to knock you off your plateau... maybe some of it will bounce back to me!

Rennie You’re creating new treasured moments with your baby now, as she’s sharing this experience with you over the phone. I bet the next time you see her, she’ll be blooming with a confidence and poise all her own! Well done, Mama!

Carter I hate it when the nibble monster is prowling. Maybe it’s time to really pig out on something, like as much steamed cabbage as you want (add some corn and fresh grape tomatoes, and onions fried in a little olive oil... I’m getting hungry...).

Congrats for you ladies maintaining (thereabouts) and dropping! Diana your back in the 140s... yea! Good on you for ongoing recovery from the holidays... Jldsgirl Get that rest, it helps getting the pounds off Angie Nearly 5 pounds gone so far this month?! Wow... whatever you’re doing, it’s sure working. I just started making protein smoothies, too, to help with my workouts. I use greek yogurt, too, but with unsweetened almond milk and bananas, with hemp protein, and spices. I’m drinking them after my heavy workouts.

Coondocks Good luck with family drama, and avoiding stress eating with all the Ukrainian comfort food available...

OnaMi I don’t think it’s possible to eat too much broiled fish... Be kind to yourself and get that rest you need...

Runningfromfat I gave up trying to catch up with everyone, there’s so many people here! It’s a great group, and I’m glad to be part of it... most of the time, I’ve only got time to just post my stats.

Ladies I weighed in at 185.2 down 1.2lbs from yesterday. So happy. I hope I can have another drop tomorrow through the weekend which is my touch time

Amanda good to see you Lady Glad to know you're on vacation and didn't leave us. Take care See you when you get back

Diana good job on the .2 down ... today is the last day and we have been texting all day. I hope to hear her voice before bed so I can tell her not write that I love her. She is moving to her new barracks tomorrow and they may take their phones she said so I'm preparing

Miranda that's right positive thinking is what keeps us going

carter thanks for the :goodvibe: ... back at cha' ... I think the munchie monster is calling me out today. So far so good though at not giving in. I wasn't hungry at all yesterday but today all I want to do is eat. smh

Jldsgirl, is he colicky? Maybe a little Mylicon Drop will help. good job on your weigh in ... hope you get a little more rest this weekend. Is your husband off on the weekend you can sleep in a bit?

Angie look at you good job on the pound down That's my protein shake but I add either a half cup of peaches or half cup of pure pumpkin with 1 or 2 scoops of powder and often a cup of 2% so it's not so thick. I need to buy some skim. HAPPY BIRTHDAY CAMERON
Thanks Angie I think she is gonna do great, and I am hoping to make her proud of me. She didn't believe me when I told her I had gained my weight back. She said she couldn't tell. I'm thinking she must be blind. But anywho We don't do much, we always go to the mall to pick up what ever they may want and have the dinner of their choice. She wants to learn to ride her bike and since it is going to be fairly nice I think I'll have our oldest son take her out to learn. He taught his brothers, so he'll do fine with his sister . Oh and we may go to Chuck e Cheese that was her other request.

Coondocks, hoping for no drama this evening I didn't get on today. I am trying to get these bedrooms together so I did a tad bit of strength training moving these heavy beds while the kids were at school. I think I'll take an ibuprofen before bed so I can stand up tomorrow. Hope Jack feels better and I love that movie also, and the Smurf's

Kukkie you sound down .1 is a loss take it and smile. We're each getting back on track together this is only day three for me I am taking day as it comes hoping that I can continue to do what I should and get better each day ... we can can we will do this, together like always

gotta pick Rissa up from Girl Scout BBL to finish up personals ...

Default ok finishing up here ...

Ona .. you got this that .8 will be gone in no time Yes today another day What did you season your fish with?

runningfromfat it's not as bad on the weekends, you'll catch up

Salley when it's after 7pm and you don't have your calories in I say it's best to drink water and eat fruit or raw veggies. Those waffles will sit with you all night. I know I use to binge like crazy at night and get in the bed miserable. Then I had to make myself go upstairs when everyone else did and tell them to ask me where I was going if I looked like I was about to go downstairs. The snacks would call my name I think, LOL ... Thanks Salley regarding my daughter ... she text me a picture in her BDU's I'm gonna try to post it

Hi Nicki

Hi unstoppable

Angie my numbers are interesting I don't have any idea what my calories would be for a small piece of fried chicken breast that I made so I just used what I had for southern fried chicken breast from Aldi. Still not over on anything except protein which is great.

calories 1240, carbs 152, protein 82, sodium 1507

Eating did not go as planned today, but I did make some good choices. TOM also arrived tonight, so between the two things I'm not expecting a good weigh in tomorrow. I'll move on though, I'm encouraged by this week and I want to get back on plan and get moving again.

Coondocks -- REally any Bob DVD, especially at $5 -- I just saw tonight though that Walmart has them here for $10 so I may pick one up.

Ona -- I'm not trying to make excuses, but really, by the time lunch came around I was starving! It must be a bit mental because lots of times I just have a greek yogurt and a coffee at breakfast, today I just put the yogurt in my shaker cup along with ice and water and powder, but it was incredibly unsatisfying...lol. Maybe I'll do better to put the powder directly into my yogurt instead.

Rennie -- Good job on your 1.2! Chuck E Cheese is one of Cameron's favourite places to go. He had a good day, but he was a little disappointed because he thought his party with his friends would be today, and it's going to be in a couple of weeks. We'd wanted to have a tubing party for years, but he and his friends were not old enough/big enough -- so now we will have one but we need a bit more snow first. We did do what he wanted today though, we went to a pet store and held and patted puppies, then to the shelter and played with cats and kittens. Good job on your numbers today Rennie!

Diana -- Sweet dreams!

Ugh... 170.2lbs again today. Well, the scale has got to drop down to 168lbs at some point.

I'll try and get caught up over the weekend but it depends on if some friends come and visit or not. Otherwise we'll be busy non-stop! Hopefully I'll at least manage to get a good workout in.

Hey folks, quick check-in today. Yesterday was a so-so day, more or less stayed on plan but didn't get a workout in. Today I will be running around - haircut and then late lunch with a friend - but I hope to get a run in later in the day.

Weight holding at 163, still 1 up from my new low earlier in the week. That is fine with me!

Good luck and good strength everyone!

Managed to get 8 or 9 hours of sleep, and I'm now down 0.5 this morning to 197.8. But I woke up with a headache and there's so much to do today; I'm going to go hunt up some coffee.

The baby slept a little better last night, he only woke up twice so I do feel a lot more rested this morning. Rennie, he isn't colicky, thank goodness, but he wakes up crying, but will go right back to sleep after drinking about an ounce of formula.. Maybe he's going through a growth spurt, lol. But he had been sleeping through the night up until the middle of last month. I have even tried feeding him a little more of his baby food before bed to see if that was the issue, and it doesn't seem to help.

Weighed in at 255.6 this morning. I cant believe I'm down 4.6 lbs in 1 week. I would have been happy with 2 lbs, but I will take all I can get, lol. Since my husband is off today, I think I am going to hit the gym later after he wakes up. It has been far too long since the gym and I have had time together, lol.

Congrats to everyone on their losses this week! Keep up the good work ladies Hope everyone has a happy and healthy day!

I continued running over the break, but not as much as I needed to. Gained about 4 pounds and am starting back at week 2 for the Ease to 10K. I might go back to week 3 if I'm feeling up for it. The sidewalk and I need some alone time.

Seeing some new faces around here, which is totally wonderful! Welcome!

So yeah back to counting points for now, but won't be weighing in every day until Jan. 16th.
