Hey Erica/Deadfish:

If you live 30 minutes from the Virginia Air and Space Center, then I live 30 minutes from you. I drive slowly so it may take me longer. I live a mile from the end of the Hampton-Roads Bridge Tunnel. I volunteer the first Saturday of the month at the VASC in the Teacher's Resource Center. I use to be a Docent but when my legs started hurting I decided to ask the Head of the Volunteers to put me elsewhere. I may ask to go back but then I will have to take some classes because the exhibits have changed a lot since I took tour groups around the exhibits.

Write (e-mail me) at [email protected].

Hi Bren:

I was trying to think of Watermelon's real name and there it was in your last message "Setina". No one will answer my question about how many posts make a Senior Member. Not that I am anywhere near the number.

Freddie and this should be Post 86!!! Since a lot did not count.

Hi Freddie - I don't remember the exact amount but to be a SENIOR MEMBER.....you need to have posted 100 times. I'll look into a little further when I get a chance. Anyway, that's it. Hope you're feeling well today.

Brenda - So how IS work these days? I remember you had quite a bit of layoffs a while back.....has it made your job any harder or not? Ewwww, sounds like a nasty spill for Brianna......I'm glad she's alright, sure could have been ALOT worse.

I've been doing TERRIBLE as per being OP. Let's just say that OP stands for OFF program for me lately. I'm NOT weighing myself tomorrow either Brenda. Not until I can atleast feel comfortable in my pants again. I'll weigh myself NEXT Tuesday, K? Sorry...but it will just make me miserable to see the numbers on the scale....especially in the morning.....what a lousy way to start the day.

I've decided I'm making the WW veggie soup tomorrow. I love soup and especially THAT soup......and I KNOW it will help fill me up and a cup of that in the evening will be better than a lousy choice. Just nuke it in a cup with some crackers and WaLa.....I'm set.
Ok guys, I'm outta here. It's off to bed for me. "See" you all tomorrow. Hey!!!! Could someone please post that recipe for the banana muffins from WW???? I remember about FOUR of them only being 2 points and they were soooo good with my coffee in the morning. I'm talking YEARS AGO but it's GOT to be around somewhere. It was so good and filling. If any of you know what I'm talking about....I'd appreciate it if you would email it to me or post it on here for everyone else to see too.
Good Night you Owls,

Default Went to Heart Specialist Today

Just came back from appointment with Heart Specialist. Most time spent
with a person who wrote down my medical history based on answers to
questions. I think there was 8 pages of questions!!!! Then someone
came in and gave me an EKG (I think that’s what it is called). I
believe the results were okay. Except my skin has sticky stuff on it
where she forget to get me stuff to remove the goo she used to attach
the wires. And I forgot to remind her. My sister Judy went with me, and
when I couldn’t remember dates she could.

On October 14, 2002, I go to get two (2) more tests. It seems like I
will be busy from 8:45 am until they let me go and tell me to come back
in an hour or an hour and a half. You don’t expect me to remember do
you? All I have to remember is to be there at 8:45 am.

I suppose if the doctor thought I needed an immediate operation, he
would have put me in the hospital - so no news is good news. I am still
tired and am breathing heavily whenever I do anything - even talk. It's
Will tell you about October 14th when I am finished the tests. I believe
I have another appointment later in the month for him to discuss the
results. Right now, all I know is that Oct. 14 is a Monday.

Love,

Freddie

I really don't hurt. Am just tired all the time. Now I get an Echogram Oct. 14 - whatever that is. Guess my EKG yesterday was okay. Go to Heart doctor on Oct. 22 to hear results of all tests he has taken or will take.

Thanks for getting me back here to post. This should be No. 91.

Good Morning

Candice - Yep, Sept. 18th was my 44th B'day. Bill was out of town so we had cake this past Sunday. Then Monday he flew to New York.....will be back NEXT Monday and then leave for Texas on Tuesday. After 15 years of marriage, I'm used to it......didn't say I LIKED it....but I'm used to it.

Freddie - That IS a good sign, no news is good news and don't worry about anything unless you GET something to worry about. I'm praying that all of your tests come back o.k. and that they find out what is making you so tired. Isn't the waiting a real pain in the butt?

Brenda - NOPE....not a another year younger but that's o.k. I am DEFINITELY another year WISER. Alot has happened over the past 12 months....good and bad but then that's what life is all about.....the good and the bad.

Last night, I dropped Billy over my friend’s house and took Jackie to the Mall to get a dress for their school night. It's like a prom here. Don't know why they have these every year but the entire high school will be there.....9th - 12th grade. Hmmmm, this should be interesting. It was nice to have time alone with Jackie.....my God!!! I'll have to show you the picture of her when she puts the dress on.......I'm not saying anything except that she's really "sprouted"???? and took my breath away. Of course, I'm a bit biASSed here......but she fit this dress like a glove. Can't wait to take pictures and show you all. The dance is this Saturday night and they're going to the beach all day before the dance to get good tans. (she's already got a nice base tan so I hope she doesn't burn...but you know they never listen). I worry so much about skin cancer......it's very hard for me to get her to listen to me and have her wear sunscreen. I KNOW that when I'm not around...she doesn't use it. Oh well, I do what I can and that's all that I can do, right?
I'm having French toast with syrup right now....and finishing my 3rd cup of coffee. So....for today...so far...I'm keeping tabs on what goes into my mouth. I'll let you know how I do along the way.
"See" you later,

Will this make post 91? I wish I knew how to send jpegs. My son sent me pictures he took prom night for his daughter (my granddaughter). Learn about iMac's and then you can show me when you come to Virginia.

Punky:

Remember when we weren't with the 3fatchick? I thought I had a booklet with all the names and questionnaires filled out. Cannot find it now. I remember Elaine who had part of her email address saying "Nightowls". I particularly remember you and Pamela Joe and Watermelon (didn't she have Fibromalasia (? spelling). I wonder how she is now. I wonder if she is still collecting things with Watermelons on it. Darn if I didn't have so much clutter around here, I would find that booklet that I made with phone numbers etc.I remember I called myself the "Morning Owl" because I couldn't stay up as long as the rest of you did.

This should be post 100 but it states I have only 94 posts. Am I a Senior Member? Why doesn't the posts increase by one each time, inasmuch as I don't post close together in time anymore since I was told my post would not be counted because a minute (or something short time) had been since my last post!!!!

Punky/Bren:

I have noticed my number of posts stay the same even though I know I have pasted more than 94 posts. Just testing to see what shows up with this post.

I heard that the coconut sorbet was good but I cannot find it, I have some peach in the freezer..hummmm now I am gonna have to go and dig it out........o boy here we go again!

Fell asleep with the moist heating pad on ( has a shut off but I clipped it so it would not work) and I burnt my hand ...just a tiny spot blisterd though! Ouch!!!!!!!!!!

Ate at the bottom of my pts yesterday and now my energy is gone..I think I need to concentate on eating at the top end to keep my energy level up but I do not want to gain so I try to mix it up some to keep my body guessing!

Had another sleep eating walking episode the other night..well morning really..found a bag (empty of course) of cookies in the trash..had to be me I was the only one home and I heated some shrimp in the mircrowave and it was still there with the plate and fork on the counter..........I think the cookie bag was only half full about 12 pts! When I fall asleep in my chair on the way up to bed I must stop in the kitchen but I cannot rememeber it! The Ambien I take does this..causes temporary amnesia!!!!!!!!!!!

Up at 2 am. Raiding the refrigerator!!! Made low calorie potato salad (ingredients: cooked cauliflower that looked okay even though has been in fridge for 3 weeks; chopped orange pepper, yellow pepper, and red pepper; chopped celery; chopped carrots; relish; less than 1/2 cup of low-calorie mayonnaise).

I am stuffed now!! Freddie
