Way to Go Andrea!!!!!!

My food plan went well but it's the when I got home that did me in (I'm still good in pts but I am using them too early in the week). I am doing my weekly food menu and grocery list. A sweet treat is definitely on the list so when I get home and really need something sweet, it's not so out there with points

Keep moving everybody! CHECK IN!!!!

Hey Guys!
You all are great inspirations for me! Andrea congrats on your weight loss! That's one stick of butter that is no longer on you. Have a happy birthday!

Rose, you're doing awesome!

I'm still pluggin' away one day at a time! I've been hitting my exercise bike everyday. I don't have a scale in the house. For me that is a good thing. For me getting on that scale too often is not good for me emotionally. I just go to my weekly wi.

I totally understand what you all are saying about needing a break and getting possessed with the food and the program. This is what I've been doing. I look at this as a long term lifestyle change. Mon. thru Sat. I stick extremely closely to the program. I bite it, I write it. I exercise for those six days as well. I do not use any of my 35 flex points or my activity points. Sunday is my day of rest. It is the one day a week I do not exercise. After church every Sunday we always go out to eat as a family. We usually go to a buffet because those are the best for the kids. I allow myself one trip to the buffet and that's it. If there is something I am really craving I allow myself that on that day. I don't eat any desserts though. I still try to eat smart, but I don't write anything down on that day. I'm finding that as time goes on I am naturally eating foods that are better for me....even on Sundays. Last Sunday my plate had green beans and cottage cheese from the buffet. It just gives me a little breather from having to write down everything! It's been working for me so far.

Keep up the good work ladies!

Nope, 1 stick of butter is 1/4 of a pound! I didn't say that I live without sweet treats. I just don't get desserts from a resturant....who knows how many points are packed into those babies. I DO have sweet treats weekly here at home. I usually know the number of points in the treat before I eat it though. Just finished an ice cream fudge bar for 1/2 a point. ...yummy!

That's a really good idea Lynn - I think I'll adopt that plan too. You're right about not being able to figure out how many pts and then there's always "Dang that certainly wasn't worth those points" That's what I did the other night when I ate 3 Oreos.

Hey everyone - It's been a few days! How's your long term goal going? I'm doing well OP.

I LOVE FLEXPOINTS!!!!! This doesn't make me feel like I'm doing a "diet" whatsoever and that I'm making a lifestyle modification. No "you can't have that" stuff whatsoever. Not to say that I'm eating a lot of high fat carb foods, but if I choose to have a salad with some oil in it, it's okay as long as I count it and the oil is actually part of my plan (as long as it is healthy oils)

Check in everybody - where are you at?

Andrea - that is actually a pretty good total - WW says a weight loss of 1-2 lbs a week is a healthy loss that you can maintain in the future
