Today:
skim milk latte - 2 peanuts and bite of funnel cake (ack!) at outdoor market - 2 Lean Gourmet spaghetti - 5 4oz chicken breast - 4 brocolli - 0 no-flour bread toasted with tomato & parsley on top - 1 WeightWatcher's s'mores bar - 1 Banana - 2 WeightWatcher's Fudgesicle - 1 Salmon oil tablet - 1 19 points out of 20 No real exercise, but we had to climb a LOT of stairs to get to the outdoor market, and we walked a lot (slowly) while we were there. |
I think I am the slowest loser, lol....I have been doing this since March 29th and am down 13.5. I did WW in 98 and lost 43lbs from Feb 3rd-June 25th. The weight is sure coming off alot slower this time, prob. due to age, and alot of yo-yo dieting since then. But, it's coming off...and I don't feel deprieved, I have my days (ex: yesterday) where I goof, but then today I pick up and get things going. I want to be down 1.5 this week, so I have alot of work to do in the next 3 days to fix what I did yesterday.
I think this forum is fun, seeing what ppl's days are like, etc. However, I'd like to learn more about everyone.... Where do you live? Name? Age? Family/kids? Do you work? etc. I'll start. I'm Jennifer, I'm 32 and live in Michigan...I have a son who will be 9 next week, and I am a MA at a pediatricians office. (That sorta felt like AA...lol) |

Hi ladies. I don't even want to say what I have eaten today. Wow. I am in a food funk again.
Here is some non food related info....... My name is Amy. I have been married for just over 8 years. I am a 32 year old SAHM. I have a six year old daughter and a 4 year old son. I live in Chandler Arizona. My screen name.............one fourth of July weekend, I was visiting my older sister (lives about 3 hours away from me). She was designated driver, my husband was passenger, and my 5'4" 120lb brother in law was sitting in the middle of the backseat. I was on one side of him, and my room mate (about my size back then) was on his other side. He put his arms around us and made a joke about sitting between the buffalo sisters. We were both about 200lbs back then. Maybe even 220. So, that is where I chose my goofy name. I love to scrap book, spend time with extended family, socialize with friends and neighbors, and entertain at my home. My mom and dad are still married. Don't know many people my age that can say the same thing. Divorce rate is high out here. I guess it is everywhere though. Mom and dad still live in the same house I went home to when I was born. Not for long though, they will move in two years to a place up north. We will see how I handle that. Guess that's it for now. I want my husband to help me post a picture. Thankfully I'm doing well today, after yesterday, I must! B: Steel Cut Oats w/cinnamon & sugar -3pts (Our leader talked about them in the past, so I found some...not bad, I think I need to learn to cook them better though...first try in micro they bubbled over bowl, second try, pot was too small, they bubbled over, poured into bigger pot...heated so fast, some burned on bottom...and what was left was alittle chewier than I'd want...but I'd def. try to make them again! :) lol L: Cheese stick, low fat triscuits, apple, 1/2c. lemon berry dessert - 5.5 D: 3oz steak, potato, corn, bbq sauce - 8pts Just now, rice krispie treat -2pts Later, popcorn 3pts....I'll be under by about 5, so I need to figure this out...I don't want to be over, or under. Guess I wasn't too "snacky" today :) |
I have absolutely no idea how many points I've eaten today! That's a first for me. Usually I at least have a good estimate.
We took my husband out for brunch and I had: Seafood scrambled eggs (w/spinach, mushrooms, shrimp, crab & smoked salmon. 1/2 a blueberry muffin 1/2 a piece of key lime pie <sigh> At least I'm still full and probably won't eat dinner. |
So much for being full and not eating dinner. Technically I didn't eat dinner, but I have eaten a bunch of crap that I really didn't need to eat. That's how it always is, as soon as I break down and allow myself something "off program", I just can't stop. GRRRRRR!
So after my probably high-caloric brunch (if any of you want to try to figure points on the brunch I posted above, I'd be grateful), I had: 4 rye crisps - 2pts chicken & stars soup at hand - 1pt 1/2 cup Honey Nut Cheerios, dry - 1pt 1 stale graham cracker 0.5pt WeightWatcher's S'mores bar - 1pt I can't believe I ate all of that. And I was still full from brunch, too. I just don't understand myself sometimes. I've kept myself on-plan since I started WW March 30th (except Easter dinner, but I did have flex points and I still lost over a pound that weigh-in). I hadn't used any flex points this week, so I know technically I'm okay, but I feel like a big, fat slob! |
Hello, everyone! I am new here, but not new to WW. I am making a "clean start" tomorrow and would love to use this thread to post my points and have some people to keep me accountable! I've read through several pages of the posts and you guys all seem great! Very supportive and very normal!;) It's nice to see that you all have good days and bad days and you can come here and talk about them both, without fear of reproach! I've posted some on the WW boards before and gotten some kind of mean responses.
So, I'll be posting my 1st WI in the morning, and keeping track of my points for the first time in 2 months!:^: A little personal info...I am a 34 yo mom of 3 (DS8, DS6, DD2), with a great hubby of 9 years. I am an RN and work weekends only so I get to be home all week with the kids! My kids take up about 90% of my time, but otherwise, I enjoy my church, shopping, reading, and ebay!:D Oh, and I live in Ohio. Looking forward to getting to know you all better! Ok, so it's day one for me! I think I'm off on the right foot today, even though it is early!;) I did my "starting" weigh in this AM: 162/156/135. Which means I have gained 6 pounds in the past 2 months!:( Starting today that number is going down!! I'll post my meals later. Hope everyone has a great day! Britte |

Hi, I'm just starting WW today. Mind if I join you all. I noticed someone had figured 1 point for a fish oil capsule. I hadn't even thought of that. I take fish oil everyday. Do I need to actually count that as 1 point?

Fish oil tablets count as one good oil each, and oils are a point.

So,,..........I finished off my weekend with a bang. I ate about ten oreos. Yes, I said ten. I was so ill by the time I went to bed. I checked my calendar, and it looks like I am five days out from TOM. That explains a lot. About four months out of the year, I have horrible cravings, PMS, and cramps. Looks like this will be one of those months for me. I am ok so far today. Breakfast oatmeal 3pts of 3 Gym 10 minutes on treadmill 30 minutes with trainer just snacked on 5 tortilla chips 1.5pts of 4.5 Will post again after my healthy lunch. |
Ok, just finished lunch and some of my son's too. :( Oh well, I will count it and eat less later today. That's the way the cookie crumbles.
Lunch smart one chicken enchiladas suiza 6/10.5 over a bed of finely shredded lettuce 0/10.5 I must let you all know that I have put a few frozen meals over a bed of lettuce. It has been great! Filling and no extra points. The key for me is to shred it as fine as possible. I use these crazy knives I ordered from Fingerhut when I got my first apartment. That makes them 14 years old. I think they are so cheap, but they don't turn my lettuce brown so that is what I use. I will count the three bites of son's mexican pizza as....hmm...let's see......how about 2? yes, 2/12.5 I should be ok. Having boca burger for dinner on a 1pt bun. Will just watch the sides. :) |
