I have never actually done this before, but I scrambled egg whites with a chopped up mushroom and some chives from the garden. I stopped eating eggs after a high cholesterol test a few months back, and I really miss them.
Breakfast: 3 egg whites are (1) point or 51 calories 1 tsp olive oil (1) 1 mushoom and a few chives 1 peice of low carb bread (60 calories per slice), I stick it in the toaster to warm, but not toasted and serve the egg on top. (1) It was a really good 3 point breakfast. Latte: (3) Lunch: curry tofu over spinach (4) Subtotal: 10 Snack :( 2 bowls of cereal with milk (7) Dinner: Chicken (5), crackers (2), cheese (1), tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, peppers, and artichoke We did antipasta for dinner 25 point day |
I'm doing pretty good with my food so far today. I had my weigh-in this morning, so I didn't eat until after. 2.8 lbs down (that covers this week and last week because I didn't go to weigh-in last week 'cause I was sick). Met my 10% goal! Yay! 12 more pounds to go and I'll be at my high-end goal weight - 132 lbs.
Today so far I've had: Pria bar - 2pts Fresh pineapple - 1pt WW Recipe scone - 2pts small "schoolboy" apple - 1pt 1/2 cup Light & Fit yogurt -1pt We are planning on going out to dinner tonight to celebrate my 10%. I haven't gone to a restaurant since I started WW, so I'm a little nervous. Hopefully I will remember to use the WW tools I've learned to order wisely and eat an apporpriate portion. I'll call it my "10% Test". I'll fill you in on how well I do later tonight. I hope I stay in control. |
Woo! I went off the deep end last night with a binge. Let's just say 1 sleave of low fat grahm crackers, 5 twists (5pts there). And I still ate dinner. 1 small pork chop, a salad with 1pt dressing, and 3/4 C brown rice. Don't know what got into me. Hope I am still at my 10% or more so I can really get my key chain tonight. I will let you know.

It is really unfair how many calories are in a package of graham crackers.
They are so good, and just don't fill you up like they should. Graham crackers are actually one of my few foods that I NEVER keep in the house for just that reason. |
Congrats Liz!! Good for you on the 10%. I am really worried about weigh in tonight. My stomach is an empty pit today and yesterday. Don't know what is going on. What kind of Pria bar are you eating???

The Pria bar is - Chocolate Peanutbutter Crunch - 110 calories. It's pretty good and easy to transport, so great to eat at the meeting after I weigh-in. it's 2pts.
Balance also offers a 100 calorie bar and it is only 1pt. Those are pretty good, but I think the Pria's are better. Good luck with your weigh-in tonight, Buffalo!!! |

Apricot Cliff Bar (4 points, but so yummy) and by far the standout Peanut Butter South Beach Diet Bars (3 points, 140 calories, 3g fiber, 10 protien) |
OMG!!!! I had my biggest GAIN in my whole 16 weeks!!! I gained 2.8 over the past two weeks. :( So.......back at it tomorrow and guess what! No birthday parties or cake this week. My goal is to get to next week without using flex points. Wish me luck. My Attitude is ok considering. I don't "kill" myself over gains. This will happen and I shall take it off like last time.

My dinner out last night was really nice and gave me a chance to use the tools I've learned in WW. This is the first time I've gone to a restaurant since I started WW. I think I only went three points over for my whole day. I had 1/2 of a 8oz filet minion, salad with vinaigrette, steamed asparagus, a very small spoonful of horseradish mashed potatoes, one dinner roll, and about 4 bites of my husband's cheesecake. I counted each bite as a point.
I think my whole day worked out to around 23 points. I get 20 points a day now <sigh>. I guess I'll go around one extra time at Curves today! |
Well, after a 'not so great' week of eating, I had weigh in today and it wasn't as bad as I thought. Considering TOM arrived yesterday too, I'm only up 1/4lb. I was quite thrilled that it wasn't more, and we're back to square one today.

**Buffalo - try not to stress too much about the gain. From what you've been telling us, in the past you have had a small gain one week and then a big loss the next. I'll bet that's what happens this time too. Just work at the diet really hard this week and exercise as much as you can. I had to do an extra go-round at Curves today just to cover last night's dinner out! LOL!
**AJsMommy - TOM weigh-ins are always iffy for me, too. You seem to have a good attitude about your small gain! I'll bet that next week you show a significant loss! |
I haven't been here in awhile - I am feeling like such a failure. I got sick a few months ago - and then just gave up together and am back where I started. I am trying my hardest to start over today .........
UGH !!!!!!!!!!! Very depressed - So far today I have - 2 cups of coffee with creamer = 4 Points Weight Watcher Oat Meal = 2 Points Subway = 10 Points for Dinner We are having Sloppy Joes which will be 8 Points But instead of having the tater tots I will make myself either broccoli or green beans ...................................... My Total for today will be 24 Points - 2 points over what my Allowance is But It is better then what they have been so that is a start at least Angie |
Angie!!! Welcome back girl! Have missed you. It is sad when people drop off here. For a while, it was only Morrigan and I. Now we have several people to bounce ideas off of and get support from. So So so happy you are back. Have stated this on a thread a few weeks ago for someone that was down. Here it goes again.........it helps me all of the time.

I looked for some today, but Whole foods had very few. |
AWWWWWWWWWW You made me cry with that. I don't know why I am so emotional over this. Last night I was crying to my husband about me being over weight and etc etc etc and he yelled at me then Do something about it ...... I have just been so depressed since then. Not because of him because he was supportive but I just feel like I failed.
But reading this really helped me. I missed this place and am gonna stick it out this time. He asked me what was harder sticking to the diet or feeling the way I do about myself .... And Feeling this way is the hardest . I am done pouring my heart out - thank you SO much for the warm welcome back. Angie |
Angie, your head is in the right place, you'll do it! And you're absolutely right - feeling bad about yourself for being overweight is WAY worse than the actual diet.
I'm having a hard time with food today. I can hear it all calling me from the refrigerator and pantry! That's what happens when I indulge even a little bit (like last night at dinner). The more I eat, the more I *want* to eat. <sigh> Today so far: 2 salmon oil tablets - 2pts small apple - 1pt 1/2 cup light & fit yogurt w/ cinnamon - 1pt WW recipe scone - 2pts Smart Ones teriyaki rice bowl - 5pts If I stick to my 20pts, that leaves me only 9pts left for snack and dinner. Hopefully the teriyaki bowl will keep me full until around 7pm. The sodium is pretty high in the rice bowl, so I need to really drink my water today. I have taken out Mahi Mahi fillets to thaw for dinner tonight. They run between 3 to 4 points based on weight, so if I just have a large salad and veggies with the fish I should be fine. |
