Howdy all!

Sorry I've been MIA -- I was in FL (gained back some weight) and my grandfather died while on vacation. Needless to say, I am back where I started and then some.

Re-started WW on Monday (rather than waiting until Saturday) and am hitting the gym tonight. When *is* Groundhog's Day? I am taking my GF to Phantom of the Opera in NY (sshhhhh! it's a suprise) for her b-day on Feb. 28th and I would like to hit 189 by then. It's a lofty goal, but I can do it!

Jenne....Welcome back!! I'm sorry to hear about your Grandfather's passing. I hope you were able to attend the funeral. Everyone grieves differently, I wouldn't worry about any weight gain, but you've made the best decision yet....re-joining ww's ....Good luck!!!

angels right you made a great decision coming back and recomitting to weight watchers.

well walked a few times tonight 1 mile earlier then my lil guy and i walked down the road and had to carry him back and then pushed him down the road in the stroller again a little bit later it was just so nice it was hard to be in the house and once we got outside the last thing he wanted was to be stuck inside .

Jenne Im sorry for your loss. Welcome back! Just take everyday at a time.

Congrats girls on the loss way to go!!!!!!

Angie does your library have a story time for young kids. I used to take my youngest one to it from the time she was sitting and she loved it. It was free and you would go and they would sing some songs and read a few books to the babies. It was so great meeting people who have children the same age as you.

Well I did really well today on food, water, and exercise! My body is hurting! Well gotta go eat dinner hope everyone has a great night!

Jenne I to am sorry for your loss. Huntermommy I did story time too.My boys loved it. That might be a lot of fun for you two and may brake up your day... Went out last night and I did great. I had a salad and took off everything I should not eat. Did not have any bread which I was told was amazing. And I did not drink, only water. I do not know how I did it because I was having a hard time before I left home. I was really fighting the urge to eat.I got my work out in. 30 min of the elipitcor, 30 min wlking than I did an arebics class too. It kicked my but to much. Next time I can only take her class and forgo the extra working out. Maybe I loss a few???? I can only hope. Good luck today ladies...

Okay... that's weird! I know I responded yesterday, but my post isn't there. WEIRD!!! Anyway... welcome back Jenn! So sorry about your loss!! And Angie you are an awesome motivation to our group!! Everyone else, congrats on your losses. So sorry I can't do individual responses. Work has finally picked up and it seems by the time I get home there just aren't any hours left in the day! LOL

I had WI last night and lost 4 pounds!! My mom did too. My best friend lost NINE! I about died!!! She was so happy! Anyway... so, we also went to a "Have a Ball" class with exercise balls. I really enjoyed it. So, now I might join the YMCA with my 2 best friends. Still on the ropes about that. Plus... BROOMBALL STARTS TONIGHT! WOOOOHOOOOO!!! I've been waiting 2 months for this to start. Think hockey, soccer and lacrosse combined. It's a blast and great exercise. I love competitive team games, so I'm really excited to start. I'll let you know if I can walk tomorrow! LOL

Great job Lyndsay!!! wow...4 lbs is awesome!!! I bet your GF was in shock with losing 9 lbs......nice to see that everyone (mom, you,GF) lost and no one was left out. You are all going to be such motivators for each other. Enjoy your broomball game. Dress warm!!!

I'm going out for lunch with a GF so I hope I do as well as you, djmommy. I'm shooting for applebee's with their ww's menu. We are also going to drop into wally mart, hope I come out with my wallet still intact!!

hildy as far as advice for newly getting started stick to the plan drink the water and exercise ww works rreally well you just have to be ready to commit to getting healthy if you have a bad day pick yourself up dust off and keep going and rember your worth it hang pic of what you dont want to look like on your fridge so you have to look at it every time you op[en the door break your weight loss up into mini goals dont look at the big numbers

I had a great time at Applebee's!! I stuck to my guns and ordered the new chicken dish..."confetti chicken"...very good!!! The chicken had a smokey flavour to it and the side of veggies is large. My friend however, ordered the deep fried citrus chicken.....AND IT WAS KILLING ME!!!.....I could smell the tangy citrus smell and my mouth was watering for it. Club soda and lemon was what I ordered to drink, so all in all a good lunch. Bonus*** at Walmart, I bought a really CUTE lightweight winter ski jacket in a pretty teal colour on CLEARANCE!!! Its tapered to show a bit of waist curve....YEAH!!! I know the season is almost over, but I don't even own a ski jacket. When I went skiing last week, I wore dh's wind breaker polar fleece jacket.
