Jen- Chili sounds so good to me right now. I am having a big bowl of baked beans and a small ham/turkey sandwich. Hopefully that will fill me up a little bit. I have had a very hungry day!!

Jen- I hope your cold comes and goes quickly. I am at 60+ oz of water, and a pot and a half of lemon chamomille decaf tea. I haven't been going to the bathroom much more than usual...but I think I just have a tiny bladder to start with!
What do you put in your chili? I like it with lots of veggies.
I got another 40 min walk in today. I am making fresh asparagus for supper- they finally have it at a reasonable price. I also made a mixed bean and tomato sauce to have with pasta. DH and DD will also have sausage, which I don't like and therefore don't ever have anyway! The only prob with the beans is that they give poor DD a lot of gas... Fortunately even that is cute when you are so little!
Does anyone know the pts for Kraft Parmesan cheese- the kind in the green shaker?

Wow, you girls have great and healthy habits. I love beans too and since I've been on WW's I find I really enjoy bean soups and chili, etc.
I have great news. I met my 10% difference. Today at my official WW WI I
lost another pound and am at 210.2# This challenge is helping me. I am setting up a goal of one pound a week from now on through June. That would help me reach my goal of 40 pounds this year. I am going to really try to keep focused so that I don't backslide.
Hey gals... Made it through the evening, but woke up feeling sick. I think my cold is definately here. Blahhhhh... As for my chili, I make it pretty simple because I have a picky hubby and also I usually am short on time so I whip it together. I put in a couple cans of spicey beans, ground beef, onions, lots of tomatoes (but they have to be crushed because of hubby). Then I serve it with light sour cream and some cheese and noodles for the kids. I only ate one bowl, partly because I was in a hurry to get Kate to swim class, but I didn't starve so that is good!
I hope to get to the gym again today (skipped yesterday) as long as my cold doesn't get in the way. I think I will weight lift today. Our gym (YMCA) is doing a Commit to Fit program so the exercise areas are always overpacked with people that have no manners and are there just for the free membership to get them to join. Hopefully once their freebie runs out, things will settle down. No one signs up for the machines and they stay on longer than the 30 minutes allowed, and it is always so packed. Sorry for the WHINE!!
I just had Baked Beans last night. I wasn't super hungry after I worked out but I ate the whole can, the bad thing is that I woke up Hungry, with a headache, and a stomach ache... am I falling apart??? :-) I will be fine, I just didn't sleep so well last night so that is why it will take a while to wake up!!
I am meeting a friend for lunch today so I will be having a large salad so I can bring half home and have supper tonight!! :-)

Golfergirl, the beans should be filling. Try some 0 point food if you're hungry, like veggies, or a salad with salsa.

Well, I ahve to go and bike and then pack. Oh I went out for supper last night nad thoughtI 'd good and order a salad. Well, it came mixed in a dressing Now I'll have to be creative and try to come up with the points for that. I also went ot my work place for a baby shower nad had a piece of cake. Other than that I did really good yesterday, I know I used some of my flexpoints, but not too bad. Oh, and Tara, my points target is 24, plus AP and FP, I just didn't use all mine the other day. I'm not stuck at 21, thank goodness.

Jen- Don't you hate it when people don't follow gym etiquette? You are prob right- lots of times people don't appreciate things they get for free. I hope you can get over this cold quickly.
Golfergirl- Wow, I wish I could be satisfied eating a can of beans or a salad!
Diana- Don't worry too much about that piece of cake and extra dressing- imagine how much you could have eaten if you hadn't been following WW....I would think it would have been much more! Are you going to have any problems staying OP during the move?
I am stressed out today. Our taxes aren't working out as well as I had hoped, and I just found out my EI runs out right before summer. As a teacher, there is no way I can have a teaching job during the summer here. I am going to have to do some serious thinking. There just aren't enough teaching jobs around here for the # of teachers!!! I am going to try to go out this afternoon, to keep me from emotional eating! We will be leaving early this evening, so I won't be around much the next few days. I will check in again before I go, though.
Well, I went to the gym (crowded) and did some weight lifting and a little aerobics. Then came back to eat lunch and ate too much. I made the last of my soup, but since there was only a little left, I made all of it and ate all of it. I didn't want to waste any. Bad me. I have to learn to stop!
Tara, what is EI? Teaching jobs are hard to find here too with all the budget cuts being made.
Tonight is Emma's first swim class with out a parent in the water. I told her we could go to Wendy's afterwards. Now to decide what to eat!!!
Jen- I love Wendy's. I liked their old menu better, though, with the grilled chicken salad and the pitas. The new salads just don't do it for me! You will have to let us know how swimming goes- that will be a nerve wracking experience for you!
EI is employment insurance. I think teaching jobs are becoming harder to find everywhere. Thats why I took a job in a rural community for 6 months. I was hoping that it would help me get a job here...but when there are no jobs coming open, it is hard to tell if it worked or not! It did get me a couple of interviews for jobs that I am not even qualified for, so I guess it must have helped. I just don't want to have to take DD and leave DH again. It is very difficult- I don't know how professional single mothers do it!!
Well, I just did most of my packing for our trip. I packed snacks for myself in ziplock bags with the pts written on the outside. I also packed snacks for DD and DH, and drinks for the drive. This should help control gas station spending and help keep me OP. I love eating out, it is the vacation snacking that gets me- and once I go over my pts, I just get out of control. So I am planning ahead.
Tara, are there any other teaching like jobs that aren't necessarily in the school system? I am a trainer, which is kind of like a teacher. And did I miss something? Are you going on vacation?? So many people on this thread are going on vacation or moving, I am getting lost. I think I need to make notes so I don't sound inconsiderate or dumb!
Oh and I really like the Oriental salad at Wendy's, but the others are OK. Sometimes I get in the mood for a burger too. I like their hamburgers way more than Mc D's. We'll see what I am in the mood for when we get there. Hubby said we aren't getting soda while there, so that is one less thing to account for!
Diana, I hate it when salads come with the dressing on them. I like to put my own on because I don't like my salad to swim in it!

Yah.. the full can of beans was probably a little more than I should have had, but they tasted good, they were low points and they were filling :-)
I met a friend for lunch today and I ordered the light veggie pasta and added the salad bar. I had the salad bar while I was there and I boxed the pasta and am taking it home for supper tonight :-)
I still have the headache, but I do feel much better. I am ready to run tonight. I am steadily improving...I did a 10 minute mile last night, I started a few months ago at a 25 minute mile...so it's getting better!! I don't get as tired as quickly so I feel like doing more!!! I like being there now :-) Finally!! Now if the weight loss would start I would be thrilled :-)
Well ladies, I've gotten some packing done, plus lots of cleaning (vacuumed every inch of my house upstairs and down, washed the floors, cleaned the bathrooms) and I did my biking. Yeah, I got to cross some stuff off my "To Do" list. Still have lots more to do but I thought I deserved a break now.
Tara, I don't mind tax season because we usually get money back, and I'm a numbers girl, so I suits me bizarre. That sucks about your EI, mine runs out in May, I thought it woud be after DS is 1, but no, it's only 50 weeks. What's up with that? Thank goodness his b-day is on a saturday. Well, Tara, why don;t you just move here? There are usually quite a numbre og teaching postions available here every year. I have family working in this school division. Come here, it'll be a new town, but you'll have a friend here already!! And don't emotional eat!!! It's not worth it. Tara, where are you going? Hope you have fun.

I was a bit naughty today and had a liverwurst sandwich but I also started cleaning out the patio closet so I was hauling some old flower pots and things to the dumpsters in the back of the complex. I hope that counts as exercise! It was raining all over me the whole time and I still have more to do and lots of sweeping and cleaning up.
I want to get in gear for spring as I'm going to grow some beans out on the patio and see what happens

I know what those cravings are like, believe me. So I have to keep reminding myself that i CAN do this. You know, on one of these boards a lady said she lost like 50 lbs or so sticking to WW. So I keep that in mind a lot. that she did it, so it can be done. For some reason I found that thought great as an "empowering belief".
Jen- I am just going away for a couple of days. I have to take my jr curling teams to district playoffs. Two days with ten 14 yr olds...should be interesting! They are great kids, but holy hormonal! I think I will prob go back to substitute teaching, and maybe do some babysitting out of my home during the summer if I need to.
Diana- I am going to Swift Current- heard of it? Actually, playoffs are in a small town about 30 min outside of there, but there is only one not so reputable hotel, so we are staying in Swift. I have seriously thought about going up north. Do you get isolation pay where you are? I'm not sure exactly where you are! Do you live on a reserve community? Most northern communities here are predominately Aboriginal.
There are a lot of really rough places. Thats my only concern, I want somewhere where my DD is safe! I usually don't mind tax season, my mom is an accountant, so we usually get a good amount back. Not this year though, which is part of the prob. We usually use our refund to lisence both our vehicles for the year! What day are you moving? If I don't get back before then, good luck! Oh- and I didn't emotional eat. I have eatten supper and still have 15 pts for the day! I cut back my nursing pts, but still get a ton!!!
Dazzled- It can totally be done! (losing the weight) I lost over 60lbs three years ago. And it wasn't WW fault I gained a bunch back- aa combo of pregnancy and gluttony! All your cleaning definitely helps and counts as exercise!
