Still having a great week. Am hoping to be down at least another pound this week at my official WI.

Vacation aftermath is tough! And I'm laughing too at your relatives who thought it was okay to come on vacation without money. Exactly what were they thinking?

Glad headache is gone--

KFC is great for WW's once in a while. I love their BBQchicken on a bun. If I remember correctly, it's 6 points. Also the roasted chicken on a bun (I request that they hold the mayo) is a pretty good sized piece of chicken for about 6 points. I also treat myself to their potato wedges, but if I'm feeling virtuous, I'll get baked beans instead because they are fewer points.

St. Patty's Day is coming. Glad we've got this challenge going!

Jen you're right, you have to move on form the not so good days and not dwell on it. I find that hard, as I jsut had several *bad* weeks, and was not OP at all, thank goodness I didn't gain As of today, I'm back OP. Had a 3 point breakfast and now it's time to go bike.
Golfergirl, I'm glad you're having a great day, you sound super motivated, keep it up!! Have fun at the gym!

Wow, it hasn't been that long since I checked in here, and there are tons of messages! That is great!
Jen- I hope your headache stays away! What are you up to with your girls today? Did you make it to the gym at lunch? Enjoy your KFC tonight- those strips are good, and not bad for pts at all!
Judy- You are doing great! What kind of cake did you make your daughter? We are glad to have you along for the challenge- you are inspiring with your optimism!
Golfergirl- I am glad you had fun inspite of some craaziness from the in laws. Did your BIL expect someone else to pay for his meals, or was your trip all inclusive? Good luck on making it back to the gym, I am sure you will feel great!
Diana- Are you all ready to move? Will you still have your computer? Are you renting a place or staying with family while you are gone? You're lucky you like your in laws so much. I did walk yesterday- 45 minutes. It was so nice out. It will be even better when all the thick bumpy ice is gone from the streets!! I have already accepted that I may have a bad WI- but next WILL be a good one. Whats new with your DS? He is at the age where everything is so exciting- and it just gets better and better!
DD and I went to the grocery store today. (double scratch and save day!) It is always fun- she loves all the old ladies telling her how cute she is. The only problem is she wants to "Open!" everything. : After that we met DH for lunch at McD's (had a chicken ceasar salad, nice and light for WI!) and then she played. I love the PlayPlace there. It is so nice living in a community this size- there are lots of resources for children, and you feel fairly safe. I am hoping to go for a walk right away, WI is at 6:15, then I think we might go see "50 First Dates". Has anyone seen it?
Sorry this post is so long- I will try to keep up better next time!

Wow, I was REALLY behind, I didn't even see this page of posts!
Diana- Do you have a bike at home? That would be nice! You CAN stay OP today!
Judy- Is your WI today or tomorrow? Good luck! How many children do you have? Any grandchildren?
We have 2 weeks left to meet our goals....GO GO GO!!!!

Tara, I had KFC yesterday, so you are a little behind!

OK, went to the gym and worked out. I have been eating really well today and decided to really up my water. Even tho I drink a lot of water, I want to drink more to boost my loss (when they finally happen).

I am a little blue today. Work related. That usually makes me blue. But I have been really busy, so that helps. Tonight we have nothing to do, so home for dinner. Tomorrow Kate has swim class then Thurs. Emma does. Man, I am way too busy with 2 active kids. I was told that I am getting them too involved at too young of an age. I don't think Swim Class and pre-school dance class is being too involved. I think it is good for them. Plus with swimming it is for safety. One of the day care teachers told me that, but she is always crabby, so I think it is just her mood. She always tries to give me un-solicited advice and it drives me NUTS!

Oh...it was far from all-inclusive... Our in-laws bought all the "kids" plane tickets to FL so everyone would be together (everyone is in different states) and the condo was free because they have a time share so there is no out of pocket expenses. They just ate at the condo (the food that mommy and daddy bought) and they ate out 2ce that I saw. Though they went out for Starbuck's at least 2ce a day...priorities!!! but they didn't have money for Universal, Sea World, Cape Canavrial and the one thing they did do with us she threw a temper tantrum and my MIL told her to spend the day in the car because everyone was sick of her, so she just pouted around the whole day. Basically what it comes down to is that she was spoiled all of her life and at 22 this is the first time she has been out of the house. It's really the parents fault for supporting this behavior all her life! She'll grow up and get over it. But until she does we made it clear to her parents that we don't want to go on another family vacation with her. The worst part of the whole thing is that she is thinking of having kids right away, like starting to try in the next few months, I don't think she's out of the child mind set herself... oh well. I didn't let her ruin my vacation and I am not worrying about her now either. The good thing was that my husband finally saw the real spoiled brat in her come out, I saw it when I first met her and he would get really mad at me if I would say anything, so he sees it now!!

Anyway....enough about her...if that's the worst problem I have with his family I should be VERY happy!!

So far so good... I got a small journal that I can keep in my purse so I always have it with me!! I will document everything and I am excited to be a big loser!!! :-)

Tara, Iv'e made a list of things to take, but haven't starting packing, oh dear.... I don't know if I'll have a computer there, but I can go to my sister's and occasionally use hers (if it's okay with her). We're house sitting, so I am really looking forward to that. Not spending too muc htime with family so that we don't end up mad at each other, you know how that is. Tara, yes DS is so cute these days. Everyday I think he's at such a cute stage I want to put life on pause so I can enjoy it, and then the next day is even better, he does something else new and cute. Right now he wants me to get off the computer soon. Sounds liek you had a good day Tara, and a movie tonight, how fun. I haven't done that in well over a year. Yes, I have a bike at home and I use it every morning. Good luck tonight
Jen, that kind of advice is always sooo niiice I think swim is very important, nad I wish I had the opportunity for that as well. Keep up the good day you're having!!
Golfergirl, I laughed out loud when I read your post what a girl. If she has a baby she will be in severe shock at the reality of life Sounds like a nice trip you got from your inlaws, fun.
Well, baby is fussing and I gotta run, no time to check for typos, sorry

Jen- Don't you love unwanted advice? Congrats on getting to the gym! I don't think you have the girls in too much. I think it is great that you care enough to do all these things- it just makes you a wonderful Mom!
Golfergirl- Your journal idea is a good one. I used to do that too- when I did WW and became a Lifetimer....hmmm, maybe that is something to think about!
Diana- Well, you will be able to do more fun things in a few days! Thats cool that you are housesitting- that should save a lot of headaches and cost. Does your son crawl? How are you doing pts wise today?

I had WI tonight and lost 6.6lbs. That sounds okay, but keep in mind it was a 2 week loss AND I had a greasy snack and big pop a couple hours before WI last time. But I am going to go with it, and hope for 1.5lbs next week.
I also went for a 75 minute walk today, thay makes me feel good! Tomorrow morning I am taking DD swimming, and I will try for a walk too.
Hope you are all enjoying the evening!

Tara, I'm sure that snack and pop you had two weeks ago didn't weigh almost 8 pounds. Be proud of yourself, you did great If you stick to your points, you'll lose that 1.5 for next week. Wow, that's a long walk, you're doing great Tara, my DS pulls himself across the floor with his arms, doesn't do the typical crawl. And to answer your question, I had 21 points today. Planned on having a snack this evening but it just got too busy. I don't feel like it now.
Gotta go

Well, I had a GREAT night last night. I had a grilled chicken sandwich and a mini bagel as well as a handful of baked lays followed with a snack of grapes. I went for 3 miles on the treadmill and it took me 45minutes. I am getting faster!!! The gym's air was broke so basically there were fans blowing hot air around. But it was a good night for the diet!!! :-)

Hey everyone. I did well yesterday eating wise. I did get into some Starburst last night, but only had 4 pieces. I drank lots of water yesterday also!!

Golfergirl... my SIL is exactly the same way. We never see her because she is so anti family and only hangs out with MIL so she can get something from her. She is terribly spoiled. When she got married she didn't even want hubby in the wedding. HER ONLY BROTHER. That was a nice slap in the face. I have never talked to her husband either because she won't bring him around if we are there. She detests all family except her parents. It is the oddest thing. I just want to smack her and tell her to grow up. She is missing a life with our kids too, and this is their only aunt on that side of the family.

Tara, AWESOME loss. That is fabulous and you shouldn't expect to lose more than that. 1.5 is totally do-able for you this week. Congrats on the great jumpstart!

I am at a loss for words again this morning, so I will be back later!

Hey all! I'm back

I got weighed in today and I've lost 2.8 lbs this week so I'm happy. I think I can actually make this St Paddy's Day Goal! That will be awesome, actually MAKING IT. So many times I've just fallen off the wagon and all but this time is really possible Ahh, the little things.

Diana- Wow, good job with your pts yesterday!! Even better if you just didn't feel like your snack. It must be so hard sticking to 21 pts! That must be so cute, your son pulling himself around.. They get so much more indepenant when they can get around!
Golfergirl- Sounds like you like carbs! Me too.
Jen- Family can be so strange! I could start about my own wacko MIL, but don't even want to begin... How is your head feeling these days?
Dazzled- Wow, way to go. 2.8 is an amazing loss! We are very close together right now! Good luck this week- although it doesn't look like you need it!

I am inspired to work hard this week- even though I am hungry hungry hungry right now...I really want a loss next week! I will be away with my curling teams on Thurs night/Fri/Sat, then I have a bowling fundraiser Sunday- I am working it and bowling. But I should have no prob staying OP while eating out.
I used to drink tons of water (4 liters min) and I am inspired by all the water drinking going on...Jen...!...so I am going to have some right now!
Have a wonderful day!

Hey gals... Bad lunch. Hubby wanted Chinese and I have put him off for weeks on this. So we went. Nothing tasted great to me so I ate less than normal and drank lots of water.

I have a headache now, but I usually get that after Chinese. I think it is the MSG. It was feeling a little better yesterday. Also, my head is now starting to feel stuffed up. So I think maybe I picked up a bug or something. Someone else at work was complaining about the headache they had all weekend!

Yesterday I down no less than 90 ounces of water. Today I am already at 60+. This is good for me, but makes me go to the bathroom more often!!

Well I have chili in the crockpot a cookin' away, so I know what dinner will be. What's everyone else having?
