Lydia, the hills were not as steep as I had anticipated, but the final climb to the finish was about a mile and a half of up, turn a corner, another rise, come over the rise, see another one, etc, so it was sufficiently soul-crushing to put the whole "no walking" goal to the test, for sure. It was a good workout!
I'm with you ladies on both the flexibility issues (hips and shoulders for me), and the never-ending yardwork (and household projects and cleaning..sheesh!). Never enough time. I spent the day yesterday, got the riding mower up and running with a new battery and battery cable ends, and got the ridiculous grass in the front yard mowed down. It was so thick and wet it wouldn't bag, so I had to rake most of it up. Hoping to get some more mowing in either today or Weds, since it just looks like a bad haircut right now.

First day of "classes" at my CF gym. Supposed to be like the on-ramp, with warm-up, skills focus, then the wod, maybe stretching after, about 45 mins or so for each class, starting on the hour. Means I have to adjust when I arrive a bit, if I want to get in some strongman/strength work first, and to make sure I'm bendy enough to do the assigned warm-up in the class. Getting old ain't for sissies!
