Nelie -
I was talking about this with my BF last night, telling him how happy Mel is with CF and that you are thinking about joining, etc. He quickly checked and said the fee is $150 where he is (i.e. Chicago).
I found out I was looking (online) at a wrong gym. The CF gym is in fact two blocks further than my current gym and I found out that 2 trainers (that I know from my gym) are now CF trainers there. The fee here is $120 (but then I live in a dump

).
When I look at the gym and read about the WOD's, it scares me the bejesus out of me. Of course, with my lower back problem there is no way I would even think about it. I practically cannot do pushups at all (not that I was able to do real military pushups before, but I was working on it and I could see I was gettng better). I really suffered at the TRX class yesterday, it just feels like my entire lumbar area is fused together and it makes it really hard.

Sorry to hear about your back problem. I do know how bad that can be. Were you able to go to the theatre? I hope so.

THREE cubic yards of mulch? Are you nuts?

I had two yards delivered two years ago and it took me a while to distribute it.
I think you need to sing the Mary Magdalene's song, Everything's Allright (it keeps buzzing in my head):
Try not to get worried
Try not to turn on to
Problems that upset you
oh Don't you know
Everything's alright
Yes everything's fine
And we want you to sleep well tonight
Let the world turn without you tonight
So. Let the world turn without you tonight and put your feet up!!!

It's called Delayed Onset of Muscle Soreness (or somethin' like that). I have exactly the same problem and it's a PITA because that means I have to give myself longer intervals between exercising the same muscles. Drink protein shake after you lift (although I will say openly that it does not help me) but your muscles need the protein infusion.
Everybody else,

! I gotta run to my yoga class.
P.S. Nelie, I don't know the date but HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
