Ok, this might not seem like much to all the serious exercisers out there, but I am actually quite proud of myself for yesterday.
As I stated in my profile, I am a full time student with a full time job and this semester I have me one of the most boring classes ever.

and the worst thing - the class is 3 hours long. So, yesterday I came up with a way to stay awake in that class. We get two 10 minute breaks and I decided I'm going to extend my breaks for about 5 more minutes and do some walking around the campus. Ok, so coming back from every brake 5 mins late might not be such a good idea, but you'd be amazed how much it helps to walk around a bit. It has something to do with the flow of oxygen to your brain (see, I did learn something in school) that helps you stay awake. Plus if you add up the walking to class and back to my car (it's a pretty big campus [CSUS]) it will come to about an hour or so of walking half of which is with a pretty heavy backpack on my shoulders.
Ok, so I'm not trying to exercise a whole lot just yet, because I need to loose some weight first so it's not as hard on my knees (I've always had bad knees even before I got fat), but it has to be a good idea to take my exercise where I can, like parking farther away from the destination and taking stair instead of the elevator. Right?
