It's day 8, round 2. Yayyyyy! I really tried hard over the weekend. No junk food. less tha 1400 cals, walked and drank my water. If nothing else, at least, I feel healthy. My pants should get looser any day now.
Everyone keep up the great work.
Hugs, Dena

My new 10 day challenge... to drink 70 oz of water a day and to do leg slimming exercises every other day. Already did them for today and have already drank nearly half of that so today is almost done already. I did lose 2 lbs. That is a good thing.

Today is Day 8 for me. I am bummed out, though, as my scale went UP this morning, even though I have met this challenge and been true to my ww program.
I'm not giving up, though.

Laura, gab!! Hurrah. Congratulations on completing your challenges!!

Excellent going!!

Derry, just hang in there. Don't measure your success by the scale for now. Put the assessment on hold. Your success is obvious in that you've stuck to plan. You're just being forced to wait! So, just wait! and don't be bummed. Waves of energy of perservance to you. . . good things come to those who wait. . .

Everyone else, stick with it.

I'm on Day 9 here. It's still before 5 a.m. Tuesday. Had a close one yesterday but came through sugar-free! Hurrah for me!

I'm waiting Red! I was an "angel" this week and on my program. I think my gain (which could be gone by tomorrow, who knows?) is from sodium.
I'm heading off line now to drink a few glasses of water.... need to flush it out of my system!!!

Ok, so I figured it out, today is day 8....and mission was accomplished at 8 pm. I actually drank 101.8 ounces of water . And the rest of this week had gone well too!

Other than that I have to say to Lauren and Gab . So happy to be in a group of "losers" and I mean that in the best possible way

As this is me most of the day I do not get in the exercise I would like to, but this is me too so I am getting in tons of water...as a matter of fact I thought I was going to float away today.

I started almost anew with the entire eating plan today as I kind of allowed myself to get off track yesterday...but thems the breaks.

Hope everyone is well, and will check in tomorrow!!!

Today is day #9, round 2. I hope I can get my exercise in this morning as I have to get ready to go to the dentist. So I will make this short.
Have a great day, everyone!

well day 2 round 2 is going well already. I have drank plenty of water and gotten almost al my exercise done. I figure taht I can do a quick walk now and do one later once it gets cooler. I also need to do my pilates but my circuit and taebo is done. Everything else is quick for me so I will do pilates before bed tonight and do my walking split in two.

~~~ slowly sneaking in...... ~~
Hey Red!!!!! It's so nice to see you are still here!! Well, I am BACK, and I've been hesitating about coming in here to make this official declaration of my 10 day challenge because now that I am posting, it means, I BETTER FOLLOW THROUGH!!!
Sigh.. so this is the kick in the butt I need.....
My goal for the next 10 days... is to exercise at least 45 minutes every day. That is where I have gotten so lazy... and just have been so unmotivated. So there. It's in writing. I've GOT TO DO IT! I've already laid out a game plan, so I know I can do it!
Here is to day 1! I'll let you know tonight how I did! :-)
WTG everyone here... I will get to know your names soon! I'm glad to be back!
Hope everyone is well....I just wanted to drop a quick line and let you all know that the breakfast tortillas (recipe somewhere on this lovely site) are slammin'. I used "fake" bacon and eggbeaters and they are absolutely devine. I think in a bit I might convince the BF to go for a walk or something....or go by myself as it looks to be pretty nice weather!
So today was weigh in #3 and I have lost another 2 lbs. Not bad considering I allowed myself to get a bit off track this week. No more of that!!
Walking has been getting easier...heck I do it all the time without really thinking about it, but I definitely think I am going to change my October goal to milage rather than steps....sitting down all day kills the amount of steps I could be taking.
I am still waiting for someone with a suggestion for which Leslie tapes would be best...any takers??? I cannot wait, I will be paying for my Firm stuff this week so I will be starting that as soon as I get whether I have to kill someone or whatever!
Smile working on the last day of round 2 . . .
Good morning everyone! (or whatever time of day or night it is by you). I am beginning the last day of my second non-sugar challenge round. I've gotten so used to it it's just a matter of doing it now. The question of, "do I eat this?" does come up, at times many times, during the course of a day but I just say "No" and carry on. It's not fun (and that's why I need the challenge) but I AM doing it. At this point, this challenge is all I can muster (or want to muster) in my world of weight loss. But it's a good one, because without it I would most surely be eating mega-amounts of calories.
Congratulations to all you who have stuck with your challenges. gab, den, synn, great going!! It's very inspiring to see and it keeps me coming back even though I'm so busy because I want to be a part of it. Welcome to the newcomers. (photogirl, good to see you again!! ) Keep us posted on your progress, lack thereof, saves, near saves, slips and falls, whatever! Power to you!! You can do this!!
