Good afternoon! Nancy, so happy to see you posting! Went for two power walks today. It's starting to rain. The rain is needed but not the thunder and lightening that's coming with it.😃
Hi Nancy!! What a busy person you are. Sounds like you are having some summer fun. Doing good with your weight too.
Diana-That late night eating always throws the scale off. I think your weight the day before was more accurate. Don’t be down. I think you will have a more positive experience for the next weigh-in. Focus on that next target.
Ciecie-hope the storms don’t get too loud for you. Sleep well.
Todays weigh-in shows : ………down 1/2 lb. I was hoping it would be more, but I am happy to have a loss.
Exercise
15 minutes stretching
3 mile walk
Then another 3 mile walk
30 minute walk
Meal
Breakfast-tofu scramble, veggie bacon, English muffin
Snack-berry yogurt, cinnamon/raisin bagel
Lunch-Franks on spinach/rice, cheddar cheese soup
Nancy I remember last year how much you enjoyed working at the fair.
SinaRose I also think waking early caused some of the gain. I wake early on Sunday morning for church. I really need to get to bed earlier. Great job on the 1/2 pound! A loss is a loss!

Titus 3:4-5
But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost.
It was a miraculous metamorphosis. Darleen had lost one hundred pounds. Though everyone encouraged her as much as possible, no one really believed she could do it. The proof was before their eyes: Darleen looked great. Someone asked her how she had done it, and she told them that a crisis in her life had made her realize she didn't just need to lose weight, she needed to be saved from her own body. She fell in her kitchen and had not been able to get up again. Through her pain and frustration, she believed she was being taught a valuable lesson. She thanked God that He had gotten through to her before it was too late.
Today's thought: Save me from being a prisoner to obesity!
Good night all! Power walked and ran errands before supper tonight. My fitness goals for today have been attained. Getting badly needed rain. No thunder and lightning tonight. Will be shutting down in a few minutes to go to bed. 😃
SinaRose Thank you very much for sharing those very comforting words.

Good morning! Diana, love today's devotion! Had breakfast. Hung a load of laundry on the line outside to dry. Went for a power walk and ran errands. Will take a shower in a few minutes. Will power walk to and home from lunch. Will run errands, too.😃
Good night! Singapore, your welcome! Power walked to and home from my meeting tonight. Ran errands on the way home. My fitness goals for today have been attained. 😃
Today I start teaching the Bible class again. It's one day a week. I am a very shy person so all of this is a struggle for me. I taught this class for a time in 2020/2021 but took a year off.

Philemon 1:7
For we have great joy and consolation in thy love, because the bowels of the saints are refreshed by thee, brother.
Phil had a lousy self-image. He felt unwanted and unloved. He looked at himself in the mirror and saw an enormous slob. No one could love that. Dieting didn't even make sense. It was useless. Nothing would ever change. Poor Phil honestly believed he was unloved. He had no reason to change because he saw no hope for his future. How sad that Phil didn't know the love of God. We can proceed with our diets knowing that we are loved and that we are lovable. Just knowing that makes it all worthwhile. We draw strength from the comfort that comes from being loved. That strength ensures that we can lose the weight we want to lose.
Today's thought: Special people can do anything they set their mind to, and I am a special person!
