I really like today's devotion. It's an encouragement for me right now.

Jeremiah 30:22 'And ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.
'The covenant that God made was quite simple: He would be God to a group of people who would accept Him and honor Him. God's promises are always simple and straight-forward. There are never strings attached. God will do everything He can to help us deal with this life. He wants to see His children happy and fulfilled. That is why He will help us when we need His comforting strength. Alone, we just don't have what it takes to make it. With God, however, there is no force on Earth great enough to keep us from our goal. Remember God, and truly He will remember you in time of need.
Today's thought: My willpower comes from the strongest power source around!
Diana-The moderator did send me an e-mail back saying there are several people having access problems. He is trying to reach someone to help fix this problem.
Problem still ongoing today.
Ciecie-you keep me motivated every day. Thanks.
Diana-everyone has days where the temptation is too great. I understand, but now you have committed yourself towards the end of the month. I can’t wait for you to share your success with us. Stay on track. 🍀😀
Nancy-nice to see your post. Hope we all make it back online regularly when they fix this access problem.
Today’s weigh-in shows……..I am down one pound this week. Yippee! 😊 No time to stop. Got to keep going, and stay focused and committed.
Have a Blessed day and stay safe and healthy! Have a great start to your week!

Ephesians 3:16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man.
Herm couldn't figure out why he wasn't losing weight. He knew he wasn't eating as much as he had before he retired. When he was on the road, he ate like a horse. Now that he was home around the house all the time, he ate a lot less. Something definitely wasn't right. Losing weight requires much more than just changing our eating habits. We need to change our whole outlook on things. Sometimes we need to cut back on food while increasing the amount of exercise we get. Other times we need to give up certain foods altogether. We need to evaluate deep inside how we live out our lives, and make adjustments necessary to succeed in losing weight.
Today's thought: Dieting doesn't happen on its own. It takes a conscious effort!
So glad to see that you are still here. Hope to see the return of Rachel and Nancy!
Diana: I watch many videos on You Tube about gardening. Some people use these canvass bags as a raised bed. There are others who use cardboard boxes. I have seen people use chicken wire with pulled weeds, straw, etc.
SineRose: A one pound loss...Hey Hey Hey!
CieCie: Hello up north! I thought that the hot weather was gone...but it keeps coming back... I am still reading some books by Ernest Hemingway. Some books I like and others I rush through... They do give me things to ponder.
I took a walk at the zoo this week. Last night I walked in the neighborhood. I am eating too many sweets...but my weight is about the same.... My food bill was good this past month. Oh, I saw this recipe for lentils and rice with spices. Maybe I will try that sometime.
When I am not losing weight, I try to work on other goals. Last night, I sorted/packaged some seeds that I had collected.
