Hi all,
Breakfast was packet of instant oatmeal and yogurt and coffee. 350+
Orange chicken/veggies from whole foods for lunch with a soda... 650
Chocolate/toffee pretzel 100? It was a gift.
Starbucks... seeing a self-indulgent trend... 300?

3rd week though. And workout felt great last night. Hoping it rubs off on my calorie intake.

Check in with you all later!

About the sick relative, love is such a wonderful thing to feel when were alone, once when my father was I'll I started giving in to drama my bipolar sibling was dishing out , and my other sibling told me to do everything I could to hold my head up high. I had to learn forgiveness so that my father could be surrounded by a loving Family when he passed. I'll never forget it.

Just a reminder that I'm rooster. A man.
I worked very strenuously today, I've been skipping many typical breakfasts in favor of protein drinks, mixed with coconut milk. The effect has been I feel better, at least I think I do, like almost as good as if I had taken Tylenol . So I tried just that, no pain pills for month , unless a headache. My result was certainly feeling better during and after work. Very hard to ignore . 85% of my job is lifting repetitively , I feel that the fasts are impossible during the work week, and is the big reason I fell off my wagon too.

So glad to be posting again in an accountability way.

Today was terrible way to eat, not healthy at all until I left the plant.
But my work was hard due people not at at work, and no one else trained to do the work, so I kept having to do the the hard and strenuous lifting , until they can train people who will keep coming back.
So today I could of had some small calorie restriction, but ate energy foods to keep up with lifting needs.
A mentor was struggling so I volunteered in his place and just dominated the lifting, the energy drinks made me feel like a hulk. But I know I won't lose fat doing it that way. It's the catch 22.
So tommorrow no mater what ,
Protein drink breakfast , healthy salad lunch, and salmon dinner.

I'll check back in on Friday, to report wether I've started a 24hour fast after lunch.
But it's time for a long winters nap, goodnight.

Good evening to all of you!

stlrsgrl43 I have not followed NRLW in a long time, now I use fitness blender which is a combination of lifting and HIIT/Cardio. But have to admit lifting is my favorite

granny
I hope you are feeling better

EmilyLarnder I know what you mean when you splurge with a beer, bloating and sluggish

GettinFit great walk! it has been too rainy here to get out like that, although I guess that is why they make rain gear <sigh>

dallasgirl1 great job on week three of workouts....awesome

Synergy Foo I remember you from awhile back and in case I forget to say welcome back!

Diana, Kelljpa and to anyone else I have missed these past few days.

Tonight Calories under 1,000 but will have something in a bit. I have pushed water again today and can say the gallon jug is gone and the night is not over. My hope is a few days on the diuretic will give me an accurate picture of what my weight really is after this morning eye opening.

I will be back tomorrow

Good morning all
149.4 this morning

DH made ham and split pea soup last night, it was amazing but the sodium, I was feeling it right after I ate, so not sweating the little bump up this morning. As hard as it was January was a good month, .short one coming up, then Spring

Nancylmrn wow, the diuretic. My dad was on some BP medicine that made him retain water horribly. His feet were swollen to where it was painful for him to walk. He was never on medication his whole life, so he thought he had to live with it. When he went to the doctor they changed his bp medicine and he’s been much better, it’s been a couple years on the new meds. my mom takes a water pill with her bp meds. You’re working so hard, there will be all kinds of muscles under that water weight.

GrannyNancy you’re doing great, your focus is inspiring

GettinFit you’v Got this. I got in my lifetime range in January and working towards my next goal(which is goal my WW goal is 150 on their scale, I have 1.4 to go). Truly, if I can do it anyone can

Emily great job getting back to it after the weekend.

Stlrsgel43 welcome

Ciecie you’re doing great, love your check ins.

Diana you’re an inspiration every day doing something towards your health. I’m really trying to work on making healthy habits. I got lazy in the middle of the month with my exercise goals, but got close to making them. Thanks for being here for me and everyone else.

Hope everyone has a great day

Good Morning, Everyone!

Nothing for last night
This Morning: Oxycise Commuter Workout

Calories for yesterday: 1540 +
Weigh In: 186
No Change

I woke with a lot of swelling this morning. No change in weight, though. Since December I have had issues with my mouth/lips from the angioedema. The Dr's have said they thought the thyroid (auto immune) causes some of the problems with the angioedema. I haven't had the stomach pain in a while, so I am happy about that. But, the mouth hasn't improved or subsided since December.

Have a Blessed day!

Copied from Crosswalk Devotions for Dieters

January 30

Psalm 46:1

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

My grandmother had a favorite picture that showed Jesus stretching out His hand to Peter while they were walking on the sea. It gave my grandmother great comfort to know that if she ever failed in her faith, Christ would stretch out His loving hand to lift her up. Whenever she dieted, she kept that picture close at hand. When the diet got too hard for her to cope with, she looked at her picture and felt God present with her. When we attempt to sacrifice anything, it is good for us to admit that we will have a hard time doing it on our own. When we stretch forth our hand to God, He will always reach back.

Today's thought: When my diet gets toughest, God will be closest.

Good morning to all

WI the same 167.0 but I will take it after these past few weeks. Tonight is lower body workout all body weight (I am cringing at that) would rather lift hand weights than my own body, this can only spell disaster LOL

granny glad to hear you are feeling somewhat better

Today's meal planed same food as yesterday, yesterday's final tally was 1512 (girl scout mint and 1/2 glass of wine did me in) Will continue taking the diuretic and watch my sodium although you would not know it by yesterdays count 2400 mg yikes.

Will pop in later today have a wonderful day

Good morning,
So I'm taking a bp med and never thought about the water retention, etc. as a side effect. Wonder what else I'm missing.
Had dinner and was exhausted last night. I went to sleep at 7:30. Very unlike me. I've been having some wild dreams too. I think the late day workouts are something my body is trying to adjust to. I've done morning workouts at different points but nights seem to work best.

Forgot my nalgene bottle so pulled out an enormous cup I have at office and drinking that water.
Cup of coffee on other side. Trying to decrease cream/sugar.

HOpe to get in a work walk today. Check in later!
