Yum. Last night I had peanut m&ms. I always make sure I save calories for some sweets once or twice a week, just as long as there's only 1 or 2 servings!

After ten days of being at 170, I have dropped that pound. Off to the 160s ......no offense, but I hope I don't see this thread again :)

Hey Everyone!
HIheart: I count calories and exercise 3-4x per week! 1200-1550 in calories. I am a extremely big EATER..i love my food! And I have lost before 80 lbs only to gain them back. My thing is I get a majority of my calories from cokes (probably close to 500-600 calories per day!) so once I drop them my weight usually comes off pretty fast. It's not hard for me to lose weight..it's hard for me to KEEP it off! :( So once I get it off this time I'm going to go to an nutritionist and see if I can get some extra help this time. This morning 172.8 still. I'm fine with that because I have hit my gw for the month and probably won't hit the 160's until the 2nd week of august! We will see though! Hope everyone has a great night! |

I seem to be starting to see a pattern with my weigh ins… I stay stuck at a certain weight (really within a range of +/- 1 pound either side) for ages (7-10 days!!) and then have a day or two of drops and then perhaps tiny bounce up then stay at the same number again… it's frustrating and a bit anxiety inducing that I won't make it to the "drop" period! ladyfat, yes I do ... that's what I'm doing now. I'm up to 174 now. Hoping to kick start myself this month by doing my own shakes in the mornings and for dinner. I will eat a sensible lunch when I get home from work but I will take a prepared shake with me just in case I get super hungry before I get back here. There are a ton of places that I pass on the way home, so it's not good to be hungry ;) Wish me luck. I'm gonna start Wednesday probably. I'll keep you posted :)

I struggle with 3-4 good days and then blow it by eating,or should I say gobbling up an extra 1000 to 2000 calories at on sitting,ugh. Staying right at 169 now for 2wks. Glad you are all honest ,it makes me feel more normal in my struggle.

Hi Donna, good to see you :hug: I've been in and out of the 170's for some time now. Mostly in. I can't seem to get my head back into this for the life of me. I'm gonna try shakes for about a week to see if that works.

Just checking back in… I don't *think* I gained over the holiday but possibly am dehydrated… but my weigh in tonight, clothed, after peeing, was 179.6 and later on (after drinking more water) 179.0 sooooo hopefully a bit of a drop tomorrow morning into the lower 170s. 177 would be so nice to see since it would be about a 2 pound drop for the week, but anything other than 179 would be nice. I left around 179.4 and I wasn't able to control my calories very well while I was gone (staying with a friend, home cooked delicious meals, etc), soooo all good.

Out of the 170s! Moving on to the 160s..after being 169.0 for two days straight! YAY!

Hey all! New to posting here, hope that's ok.
I've been bouncing around from 160-180 for the last...8?! years but I'm getting married in May so I've got the extra motivation I need to really get it done this time. Started on July 6th and down 10lbs as of this morning to 173.8 (2 for the week). Hoping to join you all in getting to the 160s soon! |

I weighed in today at 176.6 - so a 2.8 lb loss since I last weighed in! Pretty happy with that (span of about 8 days no weighing and little control over food). 6.8 pounds until the 160s which is where the majority of my nicer clothes will really start to fit… which will be pretty nice. |

Congrats Nicholsfamily!! Rennie, it's hard when we've already been at this weight or struggle for a while. I try really hard to focus and stay where I am right now. It is a daily struggle for me! I wonder how I managed to maintain my much lower weight for years not a year ago when I can't get out of the 170s!? How is that possible?! Well I weighed in at 171.8 today which is actually up a tiny bit from over a week ago. But I was quite happy to see it! My hubby brought me home a few TV dinners and I went up to almost 175 and got really backed up and felt absolutely horrid! Back to eating junk food once or twice a week!! Hopefully I'll be down a bit more tomorrow. I was still ok on my calories, so hopefully I was still losing even though my body clearly is telling me to only reached for unprocessed food! Ugh. Why do I have to hate cooking and any food prep so much!? Those frozen meals are bliss! Haha |

ladyfat, you are doing it, keep up the good work :high: ladyfat, same here with the clothes, if I can just gain some self control, I could wear my jeans without them killing me ;) goodday, I've been doing the same thing ... the bounce game. I've managed to stay away from the 8, but have surely come too close for comfort. We can and we will, leave this decade behind :crossed: HIheart, I think the 190's and the 170's were my toughest decades. I have gotten out of the 170's a few times in the last few months I think only to go right back, smh. LOL, I hate food prep and cooking also. I didn't mind when I was home but I work crazy hours and I just don't feel like it most of the time ;) I loss weight in 2010 eating frozen dinners daily, but I was walking everyday after dinner to combat the sodium in those dinners which I believe is the killer part :( Hope you have a great weigh in tomorrow :crossed: Hi CheeseCakeBrownie :wave: weight today 174.4. My son has challenged me to see who can lose 4lbs the quickest. I want to lose 5.4lbs to get out of here :). I started the Military Diet for the umpteenth time. Just checking in… I'm at the "my weight is staying maddeningly the same" phase of weight loss right now. I find I stay almost exactly at a certain number for days (up to a week?) and then drop 1-3 pounds "overnight" - obviously my body is hoarding water or other stuff, but it's so frustrating. I've been 176.6, 176.6, 176.8 the past 3 days and today am 176.4. Hello body, let's continue on downwards...

Grrr, got down to 173.2 last week, have been back up at 173.8 this week. Official weigh day is Monday- hoping to see 172! This decade is maddening

Shot down to 173.6 unexpectedly! Had a bit of an upset stomach yesterday, so perhaps just a clear out of what had been in my intestines (haha) but I did drink enough water to be hydrated and took meds so I don't think ALL of it is dehydration… in any case, today I am only 3.8 pounds away from 160s!!!

I just ended the heavy part of my cycle and weighed in at 170.0 today. Maybe tomorrow I'll dip my toes in the 160's!
I plan on eating on the high end today and working out heavily, so I might actually be up tomorrow. We'll see, but I'll be in the 160's this week!! :carrot: How was your weigh in goodday? I hope everyone's doing well! |
Blah… still at 173.8… 4 pounds to go! Had a foot issue which dropped my steps daily and I think it definitely slowed my loss, so hopefully if I do my stretches and what not I can fix it (I got rid of the bad shoes that were contributing to the problem as well) and drop these 4 relatively quickly (by which I mean, in 2 weeks).

I suppose I should start posting on this thread...my lowest weight (last week!) was 175 but I'm currently sitting at 176.8. The 170s-180s have been a long, hard haul for me, but I'm back in the losing mindset. I'm sure it will take me a few more MONTHS to see the 160s but I'm going to try my damndest!
